Browser problem - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

This is a problem that just started happening. Every now and then, I'll Google something in my browser or try to a website and it just won't load. Then for a few minutes it wont load any website. It just hangs and the loading bar doesn't move. It'll randomly start working again fine after a few minutes. It does this with multiple browsers for me. Any ideas?

Does it happen on both wifi and mobile data, or just one?

Both

My best advice is to backup all important data and factory reset. If it still happens flash your firmware via Odin and then factory reset again. (Doing so with stock recovery will wipe the internal sd card, so back that up as well.)

I reflashed the rom and the browser thing happened again today. I don't really have a working computer. It's their a way to Odin go stock without a computer?

Not exactly. You can use Mobile Odin, but it doesn't flash the full firmware. Still its better than nothing. Search xda for the thread. Itll explain how to use the free version.
What build are you running?

S3rx

Sorry, I meant what is your base firmware/bootloader build. If youre not sure, indtall terminal emulator and enter this:
getprop ro.bootloader
Whatever it returns is your current firmware version and you should flash that same one if using Mobile Odin.

Email app weird error

Hey guys, so I have a weird issue I've never had before. When flashing new ROMs, the email app force closes, when trying to fix permissions on recovery, it fails with an error message that says "failed to chmod com.android.email". I delete the app, and the data in the data/data folder, and then permissions are fixed successfully. This happens on any ROM that I flash, I've tried reverting to stock but the issue persists. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should Odin stock. Oh, and factory reset!
Ok, I've tried it before, but not sure if I wiped data before doing so. I tend to use mobile Odin because I'm not near a computer all the time, can one wipe data when flashing with mobile Odin?
Edit: yes I can, but only on pro version

Yep, it's under the Wipe area. But I would drop to recovery for a factory reset. I'm not sure what the "factory reset" in wipe data/factory reset implies, if anything.

Is it possible to unroot my Gs4 and turn it back to stock without a computer

If you made a backupour stock rom after su setup and custom recovery then yes you can as long as you are on the same bootloader the stock rom was on. Just restore after a thorough full wipe and use the the triangle away tutorial from the point after you should have opined back to stock, installed custom recovery and su. But you should Odin back anyways because this is unfounded and gremlins don't like to be aborted. Just remember you want to send your phone in for warranty and you want to eliminate all modded softwares and Odin will eliminate the leftovers!
You can try this

Have you tried odining back to stock?
Install the stock rom with odin should work.

Yes I tried with odin still didnt work

Do it twice without reboot in between, pull battery after first odin flash, uncheck "reboot " on odin.
Pp.
Does it matter if it says failed ?

Check your work, make sure your flashing the correct rom for your device. try a different pc, wire, download also use latest odin (3.07)or higher. Google is your friend, Google it. Give more/better info on your phone, downloads, country, shoe size? ....... You tube.
Pp.
Couple things, one flash the same firmware your phone was on before or flash a newer one. Use stock cable. And lets not make more then one post for the same exact issue. One is sufficient enough.
Ditto!

[help] Problem with odin

For some reason when I try to Odin the newest nf4 firmware, everything seems to go ok but my phone won't come on. Just stays stuck at the tmobile t999l screen. I've flashed the nf4 modem but I wanted to flash the bootloader to go along with it. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Did you factory reset?
No. Should I do that before Odin or after?

Either one
Thanks @serio22 that did it. I don't think I've ever had to do that before.

It's always recommended, especially if going from aosp/cm otherwise you will get stuck at startup

Made an account just to reply to this. I was in the same boat, and tried that. Phone rebooted but couldn't take OTA. When it restarted after failed OTA install, went into bootloop. Had to reflash stock through ODIN and problem solved. Sorry man.
So Im running stock recovery and stock rooted 4.4. So that means I either wait for lollipop on Kies or Odin back to stock then take the OTA.

I'm in the same boat
Not sure about this but Odin to stock and taking update will keep all your data if that is what you are worried about. Only issue is you might not be as smooth keeping your settings. I had some fc's and lag. So I reset to factory and restored apps and there was a huge speed and smoothness increase.
Im planning on reseting, trying to maintain setup on a major update always causes lag.
