I am on the viperone Rom version 1.8.0 and I have just noticed that my Bluetooth isn't working. I did some research and found out that this could be a result of rooting and the solution would be to flash a different kernel. Could somebody please give me some suggestions on how I could get Bluetooth to work and if my kernel is the problem. All help is appreciated ?

I'm willing to bet it's not a kernel problem but a firmware problem....whats your firmware? you need 2.22.401.4 firmware
Thanks for the speedy reply! I checked and my firmware is 1.54.401.5 (it's under build number right). Is this ever changed or does it stay the same no matter what ROM you have? Can you change it?

As the title says, adb is not working while the phone is booting. Atleast i cannot get it to work.
As you know, i allready ported few miui roms, so now i wanted to rebase the rom to the latest htc firmware 3.17.
The problem is that i need to get the logcat while phone stays in bootlop, to see what is going on with it and fix the problem. Since 3.14 base I am not able to pull the logcat with ''adb logcat'' command, it just stays on ''waiting for device''.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix that?

I have had this problem in a few ROMs. i usually sort it by pushing logcat from a known working ROM to /system/bin/logcat
Actually come to think about it. Its only ever been miui ROMs that it has ever failed to show logcats

Hello
i was wondering if i can change the stock rom from my one x with a stock rom from EU.
Current rom region: Taiwan
Cid 621
Android version: 4.2.2
Software number: 4.18.950.5
Kernel 4.18.950.5
Only if you have s-off, But Arhd have some stock Rom's which you can flash
Press thanks if I helped you. Sent via XDA Premium 4
Unfortunately my device is s-on . So i guess unlocking the bootloader won't help?

It won't help you to change the region but you have to unlock it to flash a rom. The arhd stock Rom's are the European ones I believe

What is the difference between the Taiwanese and the Europese ones?

Im actually having osme bluetooth issues as well, ( im on arhd 10.2 ) and i started geting the bluetooth issues after upgrading to the latest firmware, so i think im gonna try flashing back to the 4.4.2 firmware to see if that clears things up
I would press the sleep/wake button once and the screen would turn on then I would do it the second time and the phone would reboot (I'm using the CM12.1 beta2 I know it still has bugs but this also happened with the skydragon ROM)
I'm currently using the android revolution ROM which works perfectly but I really want to use the cm12.1 ROM or any aosp ROM so if anyone could provide a link to a aosp ROM or show me a fix it will be greatly appreciated.
It's to do with the firmware installed, you need to update it to the version of ever rom you are using
