With stock rom you can set a different lock screen background than the home screen, how can this be done or is it even possible running CM11 on the tab3 8. I have searched and even tried the latest xposed framework and xposed lockscreen module. but it still does not work. Any ideas.

Hello,
I'm looking for some option to enable all of my installed apps in the new multiwindow on android 4.3 without using xposed module, as it makes the phone laggy.
I know there have been some mods for android 4.1.2 but are there some for 4.3?
Maybe You know some method to make this mod myself for the ROM I'm currently using (not making it for every app)?
I'm using n7105.
Ok, found the right app.
It's called mw apps manager and it doesn't require xposed module

Hi, I am on stock 4.4.2. rom (rooted, ub) and I was trying to get the KK AOSP lockscreen (the same as in AOSP roms), with fullscreen album art music player on lockscreen. I tried deleting the xperialockscreen apk in the system folder. I got the aosp lockscreen (with the ring, so to say), but I still get the small xperia music widget, no fullscreen albumart. Is there a way to get it while remaining on stock rom?
I tried installing the latest xposed + modules (flip settings e.g.) (which is said to be compatible also with xperia roms), but i continuously get systemui error, so no way for now to do this through xposed repository.

Heave you tried gravitybox and inside "Lockscreen tweaks" ---> "maximize widgets" ? (remember to restart phone after applying it)

I just bought a Galaxy Tab s SM-T800 (with Lollipop 5.0.2) and have rooted it and added custom recovery. I am still using a Galaxy Note 8 and enjoy the ability (through root) to have floating windows and have any app I want as a split window. To my disappointment I realized that with the Tab s you cannot add any other apps for multiwindow other than those that Samsung deems compatible. You also cannot float the windows. I tried apps such as Multiwindow Manager but they do not work (I think because Lollipop has broken this functionality). I have also looked at xposed framework (which I use on the note 8) but I am afraid to try this since it is alpha and there have been issues on Samsung devices. Are there any roms out there that would be compatible with the t800 tab s wifi version that will allow more extensive multiwindow support? (BTW I looked at the SuperSamsung Rom but it says it is for the LTE models which I don't have).
No issues whatsoever with Xposed.
Xposed + wanam = any app you want for multiwindows.
Thanks for the reply. I have done some more research and just today saw a post about IronMan rom (forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/prerooted-stock-touchwiz-rom-t2973107) and if I understand the post correctly it is compatible with my tablet and has xposed framework as part of it. If I got this right then all I have to do is copy the rom zip file to an sd card, boot into recovery and install it from there and then I would have multiwindow and floating window support as well as xposed framework. Am I correct in what I'm saying? Sorry for my ignorance but would appreciate your input on this.
Anyone has any idea on how to get this done on stock rooted odexed 5.1.1?
- Night clock always on
(The method posted here is only for deodexed Roms and 5.0.1)
- edge bar always landscape
(Tried rotating in app settings xposed but no success...)

the problem is that most features of app settings doesn't work for Lollipop... because Lollipop is ART ... i searched for alternative apps but wothout success...
for permanent nightclock i tried to replace 5.1.1 touchwiz and cocktailbarservice with 5.0.1 apks... that works but the nightclock isn't shown on screen when screen is off. Maybe there are other apps or frameworks to replace with older one but i don't know wich ones

For night clock you can try this
I am finding that of all the modules I have tried most settings do nothing to change the phone. I have tried Gravitybox, XBlaster even Wanam & Lp.
Wanam seems to work the best . I managed to get the header panel & the pull down settings menu to change to ...well....... some what of what I want it to look like. I also managed to get the clock up to the left of the status bar, but thats all.
Lp themer allowed me to change the top panel color. (which is what I wanted). It's a small but works.
Gravitybox let me put a nav bar in . That's all.
Xblaster let me color settings icons , That's all.
I don't know but maybe the modules work more thoroughly when you have fully unlocked bootloader. Maybe they need to work alone not with other settings.
If that's the case I wouldn't need xposed any way I could just install a Rom & be done.
I like the ideas & praise the developers .
Samsung S4 I545 de-odexed & rooted
Have you restarted your phone each time you tried to change any settings? Also, try deleting and redownloading, that worked for me whenever my modules weren't working.
Not all those modules will work if you have a TW rom on your S4. For instance, GravityBox is more for AOSP/CM roms. The only thing you can use is wanam or some of the others that say they specifically target Samsung phones.
mate, just use Flat style bar
