Hi. I am also wondering if it is possible to extend grid layout? It's really waste of space on the screen with original 4x4.
Thanks!!

Other than the sense 6 toolbox im pretty sure all u can do more is just flash a new rom that allows for a larger grid

Or run an alternate launcher. I have used both the Google Now launcher and the Nova launcher in the past, but right now I'm using Themer. I have a 6x7 grid of icons and it's about perfect.
Thanks for replies. Currently I'm using Android Revolution HD and don't want to change it.. for me it's just perfect
I did a research about Sense Toolbox 6 and here I can only add one row. It's great but not enough. Also I don't want to give up on HTC Sense at all so I'm still looking for the way how to do that. I searched in Xposed Framework Modules and found XGELS, there is an option to set custom row and column size but it's not working for me. Maybe there's similar module?? Thanks

Heya all,
I'm actually using Pays' rom cause i love the sense UI and love the custom dock used by this rom.
But i'm a bit bored of this 7 homescreen and this scrolling wallpaper.
Is there a way to reduce the homescreen to 1 and hold the wallpaper too ?
I used launcher pro but i can't use sense widget with it.
Thanks for help in advance.
Panpan.
Its not a perfect fix, but cant you just not use the homescreens 1,2,3,5,6,7; have all that you want in screen 4?
for the wallpaper, add some black to the left and right of , this will then make the wallpaper pop up in the centre of the scene and the black will only be seen on screens 1,2,3,5,6,7 (which you do not use)
Thanks for your help but its like hidde the dust under the carpet looks clean but isn't really
I prefer to wait for another purpose.
I only use 3 home screens myself - 3, 4 and 5 - would be nice to turn off the screens you don't want ala LauncherPro
Weird that, I was looking for a ROM with 9 homescreens! Haha, is it even possible?

Dude i can give you my useless screen ^^
I am looking for some help. I like using sense, and would like to use a GB launcher.
I have found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035107
2.Real Gingerbread Rosie w/5 Column app drawer, Nexus S Style: (Chingy510)
http://www.mediafire.com/?8jamsekc4bvefvp
The problem is that it doesn't look right. There is a grey box over shadowing the launcher.
My question is that maybe Chingy510 or someone else can modify it to work and look good with Calkulin's eVio 1.8.
Thanks in advance!!

you're trying to use a 5 icon dock with sense widgets right? If so I suggest using launcher pro plus and launcher pro glass sense skin both are in market but they're not free. You can also add custom launcher icons to modify your dock bar appearance. The skin is almost exactly the same as sense.
Thanks for the replies.

So I tried both of these and they don't use sense, which is what I would like to keep. Thanks again, maybe some will have a work around for me.

...
Thanks for quick answer but I dont need to change app drawer Need something for homescreen
Not sure but if you could figure out what the intent is to call rosie (sense app drawer) then you could possibly create a LauncherPro shortcut to open it? Any smali gods out there know if this would be possible?

That's pretty much exactly what I am doing. I use Apex Launcher as my launcher, but I have a shortcut created by xShortcuts that launches Rosie for the photo widget. Unfortunately, I don't think you can call a specific screen - you can only call the launcher itself.

Yup that's the way it is possible but man that's pretty much time you loose by opening sense just for having these sense widgets.
And you have 2 launchers running then since sense will be only killed when you reboot again.
Dunno for what you want that sense widgets but I would look at play store and see if there is a alternative widget which maybe has even a themeable skin?!

I've been looking for a replacement widget for the HTC album widget for a couple years now and have never found anything. If anyone around here knows of one, I'd love to use it!

I used Go Launcher for a while, and it has great Messaging and Email widgets... really everything Sense has, EXCEPT the photo widget.

Well my last tip for you is launcher pro.
There has been a launcher pro which was skinned like sense. But dunno if it had that widget...
There was a Rom for the hd2 that's why I know that one.

He means the grid layout on the home screen 5 rows by 7. I'm using Viper Rom and it allows you to adjust how many rows you want. :good:

Very true my mistake there it is a tweak for increasing app draw grid. Thank you madik for spotting my mistake, I believe it is possible using apex or nova launcher.

This has not much to do with the ROM. It is a feature for a launcher. In your case the Sense. If you want to change this, you should search for Sense changes.
(I don't know how to change grid lines/size in Sense... I try to avoid Sense)

i get where changing the grid size has more to do with the launcher than the rom, but i was trying to do the same thing. the problem is that when i use a different launcher, i lose the icon pack and some of the other features of the Viper ROM like the extended app drawer, etc. Is there a launcher that will allow you to keep the icon settings and still change the grid size on the home screen panels?

Nope. If you want to change icons without rooting you'll need alternative launcher like Apex, ADW, GO or Nova (which I prefer the most). All of them are free (but you can buy full version with few features added). Check them out on Google Play.
Yes you can... Get Desktop Visualizer from Play store... And you can put your custom icons for anything......
