Xperia z1 compact headphone jack not working HELP!!!!!! - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I bought my Xperia I thought its audio sucks so I did some equalizers after some time I can only hear from the right side of the headphones even if I change headphones problem remains the same

Sounds like a hardware issue.
Send it in for repair.
I can not imagine that an equalizer causes this. Make sure you really insert your headphones FULLY into the phone. While the phone is new this sometimes requires a bit harder pressure. If this doesnt help it needs repair.

Same idea.
You can restore to stock to make sure it's not a software problem, btw.

I had the same problem when I bought my Z1 compact. There is a small piece of cotton at the bottom of the jack plug (in the phone), I cleaned it with a small plastic stick and now all if fine

I am not sure if it's the equalizer but I read a post that it could happen.

Yes, use plastic stick (or a toothpick) to not damage plug

There is no link between the headphone and the speaker so I thing it's the same problem. All speakers are dead ?

Connect a mic into SG2

How can I connect a mic into my SG2 ?
because I need to record something important and I'm bored of searching all the time without answer
Um... Into the only jack you can. The headphone jack. Where else did you think you could plug a mic into?
I tried but it didn't work

Was it a mic made for a smartphone? Or just a standard mic? I don't think a standard mic will work; the jack is different.
No it was designed for smartphone

Do you have a link? Also, does your headset work on a call?
Nop

No, you don't have a link, or your headset doesn't work?
If your headset doesn't work, then it sounds like a faulty jack.
No headset doesn't work

Then your phone has a faulty jack. There's your answer.

Java wave Bluetooth headphone disconnect after a few mins of call.

Any one have a Java wave Bluetooth headphone that the mic stops working after a few minute of call. The headphone still work and it is just the mic.
PS. Java wave is a stereo headphone and so for example it can be used to listen to music without any `bt mono` mod, if you know what I meant

[Xperia S] Lag on screen with usb cable

Hello Guys,
I have a problem in my Xperia S since I bought it, but never went after knowing what to do. Let's try.
When I connect my phone charger (USB or AC adapter to the notebook) occur some bugs and lags in the response of the touch screen, especially on entering text, the softkey is as if "pressed" for typing special characters.
Some have this problem too? Since the Gingerbread version to the Jelly Bean build 96 is that way.
Thank you all!
That problem is mostly cause by not using original chargher.

Can you try with another usb cable and/or chargher.
If you do that you can eliminate one source of problem (chargher or phone)

Find7 a smalltalk issue

I am interested this 7a but my friends complain about small talk issue when plug it to the phone. After few times later, the sound at receiver side is very soft and noisy.
Any one faced this issue?
Is it software or hardware issue?

I've had an issue where the person I'm talking to said I'm mumbling or they can't hear me. It send to be fixed with the new beta 2.0. At least no one has told me that since I upgraded to it.

I can't swear to it, but I haven't had anyone tell me I'm mumbling since upgrading. Sorry that's all I can say.

OK. Thanks for information. I think I can wait a bit longer to see how many custom roms available.

I bought the Find 7a last week. My problem is when you use the speaker phone for conversation, the other end will not be able to hear you as your side will be EXTREMELY soft. But if you move back to Earpiece, the mic works normally. Not sure why.
Very occasionally, when using BT , picking up calls or making outgoing calls, both sides appear muted and we cant hear each other..
