Hello guys. I have small problem. And I don't understand why ?
I have two mobiles :
LG gt540 (root and cyanogemod 7.1)
and
HTC WilFire S (with S-ON ;( and official android 2.3)
When I try connect to arduino board from LG -> All success
When I try connect to arduino board from HTC -> It don't find the board.
(I trying connect from bluetooth)
P.S. When my LG was with NO ROOT and Official Android 2.3 I also could not connect too.
Why this happening ? This is because NO ROOT or because of official hardware ? WHY ?
Thanks.
Guys help please.
Make sure wfs bluetooth is discoverable from bluetooth settings.
To do this go to settings-> wireless & networks -> bluetooth settings and check Discoverable option
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using XDA App
Can I somewhere find german root & sde enabling manual for anfanger?.
Danke

Hallo all,
First of all a thanks to all the nice people helping everybody out of their misery. I really appreciate your effort!
On to my problem:
I own a XZ1 C since January and have been quite happy with it. A few weeks in I also rooted my device successfully (I think).
My smartphone was already at version .157 so I had to use the downgrade method.
Root 14.4.A.0.157 [ LB / UBL ]
But recently I noticed that I basically cannot access the Internet via Wi-Fi anymore. Everything I do takes forever to connect and then mostly takes forever to load.
The funny thing is, however, that my brother also owns a (not rooted) Z1 compact bought from the same vendor (Amazon) and has none of these issues in the same network, at the same location. He can watch 720p videos all day long while I often have to wait for 144p vids to load.
Sot the first thing I would assume that I did something wrong while rooting, but I cant image that such a "soft" error would come from a wrong firmware....
And that's why I need your help Is there anything beside a full reset via PC Companion and hoping for betterment? I have also read some articles, not related to the Z1C, that some AVM-modems can cause problems. Do you know of any internet wizzary to help me out?
Thanks for reading and replying!

First of all go to Settings - More - Internet settings - accept the question and install. Then check the WiFi again.
Check if it is possible to root your device.
goto settings - mobile networks - network mode
goto settings - mobile networks - access points
goto settings - mobile networks - provider
...check all these things first!
otherwise please give us more informations:
- which ROM?
- root-method successfully completed? (check whether your device is rooted with THIS APP
- try to flash Sony firmware via flashtool and check the WiFi function again
- flash a stock prerooted ROM such as KitSlim and check WiFi again

I have done all the checks as you wished:
-Did not help. As far as I know this has nothing to do with WiFi, pls correct me if I'm wrong.
-I already had my device rooted, so yes it is rootable.
Again not sure how this should help with WiFi but here you go:
-Network mode is WCDMA/GSM
-Accesspoint is Planet 3 drei.at (Three Austria)
-Provider is 3G 3 AT
I am using stock ROM 4.4.4 build 14.A.0.157
During rooting my phone no error massages appeared or something similar, so I'm quite sure everything is as intended. Also the App says everything is ok.
I'd prefer not to fully reset my phone yet and would much more like to get the reasons behind my problem. But if no other options are left I will definitely come back to this option.
Thank you for answering

Jetzt wirds schwierig...

Did you put the right WiFi key in the device?
The fw .157 isn´t the best, i prefer .108 - KitSlim, give it a shot...
Btw i have no more idea atm, sorry

in english:
That's what I thought after all. If only it was Windows so I could blame the drivers ^^
As a side note, I am very disappointed of Sony's support as they (of course) blame my network and me, because I rooted my phone.
In the end the best thing I could do is resetting my Z1C via PC Companion.
Anyway, thank you for your kind support.
As a quick update for anybody encountering a similar problem:
I now flashed the kernel only which I downloaded while rooting the phone. It seams like this fixed my problem (for now) without erasing all my data. However, I will post another update to confirm the solution.
Finally back to HD video
Ok so I can now conclude that there seams to be a problem with the firmware.
After some while the problem just sneaked right back so reflashing the firmware is just a temporal solution. But I guess there is nothing wrong with flashing the firmware again and again, until Sony release an update.
I hope this helps.
