I've just put the new 2.3.2 ROM on my HTC Incredible and now when it boots up it goes to a black screen and vibrates 5 times. I can get into recovery but anything I select all I get is the Clockwork Mod Hat logo. So I plugged in the USB into my PC and tried it again and I'm able to see the Clockwork Mod menu but now I cannot mount my SD Card to do a restore. I've removed the SD Card and verified it is accessible and has data still on it. I'm stuck....

what 2.3.2 ROM are you talking about?

Good for you, glad you found a working fix!
Hi guys, good morning.
I have a rooted HTC One X which was running good.
Today I installed an app for changing the font style. Then I arrived in a japanese/chinese characters, which I couldn't go back to the backup set by the own app.
I searched for the original font and I found this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770479
I downloaded it and flashed it but now the phone won't load.
It sucks at the second screen of the booting process, with HTC One TM and beatsaudio logo underneath.
Then I went trying for a factory reset but still not working.
How should I proceed?
Thanks.
Flash any custom rom you want.
You are already rooted so no point in sticking with stock.
---------- Post added at 11:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:26 AM ----------
Also you should do it fast.. As your phone may ran out of battery.

I found a ViperX 2.6.0. But I'm wandering if I can flash it, because my HBOOT is 1.12, and I supposedly can't use Jelly Bean.
I also can't mount my sdcard through ClockworkMod v.5.8.2.7.
What do you mean by doing it fast? Can't I charge it anymore?
You need to flash latest cwm. Check the thread in development section.
Viper is ics based so yes you can flash that rom.
---------- Post added at 11:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:56 AM ----------
Cwm version5.8.4.0 i guess.. It supports mounting of sd card from recovery.
Also you can flash twrp..anything you comfortable with.

I am on my way to update the Cwm. But installing Viper doesn't have anything to do with HBOOT version?!

Yes, unfortunately it's true. I didn't think about it before coz I hadn't needed/wanted to my Rom.
But I really would like to upgrade to JB, but I really don't know how to upgrade the HBOOT. I've seen quite a few of posts about it but still don't know exactly the steps.
The cause of this topic and my problem was a few apps for changing the font style. So, I'd like to show it to future users to be extremely careful with these apps: "Fontomizer SP(Font for Galaxy)" and "Font Installer ★ Root ★".
Do:
fastboot oem readcid
And
fastboot getvar version-main
And post the results.
If you upgrade hboot, non Sense (AOSP) based JB ROMs will have some limitations like no GPS, but JB Sense ROMs will be able to work.
Also, after JB hboot, USB Mass Storage turns into MTP, which is a fair bit less convenient.
i did what i stated in the title and my droid doesn't work anymore pls help i've i`only ever flashed a rom ones but now i dont know what to do.
My droid starts and then it gets stuck on the white screen with HTC quietly brilliant on it.

Your best bet is to flash that mod twrp. If it fails,I suggest u flash that ruu
---------- Post added at 02:08 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 AM ----------
What I mean is...flash that recovery then reflash your ROM. If u still get reboots, just flash that ruu...I don't think a certain recovery will interfere with flashing an ruu

can someone help me i cant boot into recovery, and apps are still FCing.
Symptoms:
-Unable to boot into recovery/bootloader
-Force closes system app or installed apps
-Stored settings changes on reboots
-Random reboots while phone is idle
-Constant reboots while restarting it and doesn't know when it will boot normally.
All above mention symptoms are related to HARDWARE FAILURE! Bare in mind that not all of them you'll see it on your device. But any of one you face, will might probably having chance of hardware failure.
You or here on xda users can't resolve your issue. So don't try anything from now on wards. Use it as is. Or sell it and move to another device.
Unless you have some local cheap repair shops where they might evaluate the issue then fix it that way, rather than calling into HTC service center.
And i forgot to mention, you probably have question in mind, How i know? My device is dying too. It reboots constantly before it boots normally, though it works fine. So symptom may vary device to device but cause is the same.

I have a Note 7(Australia-Vodafone) it is stuck in bootloop and loads onto bootloader. I tried to flash the Vodafone, Australia firmware through odin and also tried to use the smartswitch to help me get my phone back to life, but no success. Please help me.
It was never rooted or for that matter, the USB Debugging was also turned off
In the bootloader I get the following error,

Need to check DRK first.
