I ordered the LG Slimguard case from Expansys, and they have yet to ship it after two weeks. I might just get one of these covers.

The covers with qi are all over ebay for $20-$25, fyi.

Energizer as long as you want " Qi " - ebay: about $25 or so....and also on Amazon...do not buy LG (Same as Verizon's pad)as it has an alarm when fully charged and not a good bedside charger nor anywhere else. Energizer automatically turns off when fully charged - no alarm!

The speaker can be removed on the lg mat very easily.
the panasonic is probably the best one, you can put the phone anywhere on the mat, and the mat automatic locates the position, you can lay two phones on the mat and the mat will charge one, when finished it will locate the second phone and charged that.
the mat is also the most expensive of them all.

It's not the most expensive one, the Zens is. It's from my country and the cheapest is 50 euro's, about $65.
The Panasonic is for $54 on Ebay from Japan, with shipping it is also $65 to The Netherlands.
Don't know wich one to get, how does the system work with lcoating the device, won't that break down after a while, sounds mechanical...

you can buy Energizer Qi on Amazon and ebay - both in USA though and latter for about $20 - shipping to Netherlands might be more expensive, but not costing another $30
i was just on ebay. cheapest is 19.50 but that's a bid price and a day or 2 to go... they're roughly at 30 bucks+ on ebay

It's stupid that the dual one is cheaper than the single one...
With shipping it it not really cheaper then buying the Zens here in the Netherlands, and it is also better looking
Really like the Panasonic one, but I'm skeptical about the detecting system because it means moving parts inside...

But I keep skeptical about it, it can break down and then you got a worthless charger...

No name brand wireless charger

I ordered the Nexus 5 and I have a nexus 7 2013.
I'm looking at ordering this charger. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/QI-Wireless-...S_Cell_Phone_PDA_Chargers&hash=item20d6b7e194
This should work with both right?
Any thoughts on the quality of no-name brands from china?

Kinda don't like the fact that he's stressing not to use any case on your phone while using the device:
"Please Dont use any case or cover when you use QI wireless charger"
From what I read, QI chargers should still work with cases... also the video he posted, it looks like the N7 he was using didn't start charging? I could be wrong, the screen didn't turn on to indicate a charge - I could be wrong, maybe it doesn't do that?
I bought this no name qi charger from amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E9MUNWU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has some decent reviews .. hopefully it'll work.
It's a warning in case the buyer uses a thick ass case and complains that it doesn't work
There's a limit to how well a phone can charge through a case. Some cases just won't work.
No names usually work, but if you want something more reputable, grab a DT-900 for $25

Wireless Charging

Hello all,
Does anyone have this wireless charger -> http://www.amazon.com/Lerway-Wireless-Power-Charger-Lumia920/dp/B00E9MUNWU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Just want to know how it works with the Nexus 5. It is at a pretty good price and decently rated as a 4 starred device on Amazon.
I have not tried that one but I bought this one recently and have excellent results. It charges with a case on so not bad at all for $10 total shipped with prime account. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FALFNQA/ref=mp_s_a_1_50?qid=1383963766&sr=8-50&pi=SX200

AT&T was running a deal a few days ago where you get 25% off if you buy 3 accessories. I bought 3 of the Nokia wireless chargers for around $60. Might check and see if they still have that deal going.
I use this one (broke it down and mounted in my car dock) with my N7 LTE ... Charges faster (measuring amps) than wired connections. Just grabbed one for my N5.

sure thing.... I've been meaning to take some pictures of it anyway... it's amazing what you can do with a little bit of foam double sided sticky tape. Keep in mind this is for an N7 tablet so it has a bit bigger footprint than a phone car mount.
With that said, I hope someone (like google) does a QI car charger mount. I'm already missing my gnex pogo mount.

I know. More concerned about how exactly these things are usually configured prior to being slapped in a nice square plastic case to be plopped on a desk/dresser/etc... to see if doing what i'm thinking about is even possible. If they come small enough, i might be able to get it to work. If not, i might still be able to rig something up somehow.
Yes, though I didn't use it, this one seems really cheap. But for me, a reasonable priced product means quality to me. I would highly recommend this one, "RAVPower Qi-Enabled Wireless Charger". It's really light and a great gadget to charge my lumia 920 in a wireless way. They're also compatible with many models. You can check it here from its amazon page, simply search RavPower wireless charger.

That's kind of what I thought until I read an article online the other day that talked about how most Qi chargers are made in China for less than $2. After reading that I told my self I am not paying over $20 for a Qi charger and found one for $10 shipped on Amazon. Its been awesome and I can't find any flaws with it.

-Yeah, I didn't notice the 1A detail when I bought it, but that is kinda funny. I know it's using 1.5A because I hooked it up to my Kill-a-watt and that's what it was reading- 7.5W, 5V, 1.5A. So that is kind of odd, but cool.
-I haven't tested it from 0-100, but from 2%-80%, it took right at 1hr, 15 minutes.

$19, no tax and free shipping. It took about 2 weeks to get to me but for the price I'm ok with that.
I'm not sure about charging time but it doesn't seem slow. It only comes with a usb cable so if you need a power plug for an outlet then you will need to supply your own.
I've only used it caseless so far as the cases I ordered are taking their sweet time coming in.

Round or rectangle, its just a personal preference.
I wouldn't mind a small super shallow one for my carholder.

There's a ton of them out there since they came free with Lumia purchases. I don't think I've seen any for 70 dollars, seems the highest is around 40.

I work for AT&T and the Nokia DT-900 is currently 50% off. It's not advertised and I didn't even know about it until I scanned it and saw it. Lucky me I get an added 40% discount. I'm not into wireless charging, but for only $15 I'll take it!
Getting back to the Lerway... I own one and it's a pretty decent charger. Not too finicky about positioning and appears to charge as fast as hardwired. It's actually a rubberized plastic which I didn't realize from the pictures, this compliments the N5 quite nicely.
But, if you can get a Nokia for 5 bucks more, don't be stupid, go for the Nokia.
I have two Nokia Qi chargers, one at work and one at home. They're great with the Nexus 5, no problems at all.
ONE WARNING THOUGH: The DT-900 use a proprietary charging cord. Not micro USB. Don't get the DT-900 for use in your car, it won't work!
They make a car charger, with a one piece cord that plugs into a car cigarette charger, but that is the CR-200 and will cost you more than the on-sale prices people have posted.
I have mentioned it few times now but the one in eBay is 10 dollars and change and works great . nice packaging too and ships fast . that's what I use every night.

Sounds more like a cable thing. The N7 2012 charger is much higher amperage than the OEM 360 wall charger. The dock will only draw what it needs, so higher amp charger isn't an issue.
