I'd like to take some screenshots of the LG UHD video and use them as wallpapers but I get a message that pops up and says screenshots not allowed. Anyone know a way around that? I've already tried using the DELAYFLAGSECURE module in xposed but that didn't work.

Yes. I did a few times. You must have something set wrong.
I recorded video . went into gallery and played video. Paused when I liked the shot and pressed power and volume down. Took screen shot and saved it. Sent it to self and it was ok
They have a lock icon and they're protected. It won't let me share, screenshot etc.

Sorry I deleted those from day one.
Those are the files it won't let me screenshot. I can screenshot a video that I took just fine but the preloaded content is locked down tight.

Yeah you would have to find it on internet and load em before lg locked them down.

What do you guys use to take screenshots? I used to use Shootme but the developer has taken it off the market. Any suggestions?
Hold volume down and power. Its built into ICS.
How about holding on to the Volume down + Power button at the same time?
Press the Volume down and power buttons at the same time. Boom, screenshot!
Welcome to Ice Cream Sandwich.
Oh no kidding! Had no idea, thank you!
use the volume down and... oh guess its been said 10 times in this thread already
Volume down and power **** take to long, if you have tasker and Secure Setting...here you go (/system/bin/screencap -p /sdcard/$(date +%m.%d.%Y-%H:%M).png)

Yeah, I've always found it ridiculously taxing to press two easy to access buttons to take a screenshot.

My brother has this widget/icon on his rooted S III and I'm trying to identify it so that I can eliminate it. It will move from screen to screen, and when you touch it it powers the phone off. Anyone have any idea what it is or how to get it off the screen?

This may sound stupid but have you tried long pressing on it and then dragging it into the garbage bin?

I haven't physically seen it or been able to play with it myself, but he said that whenever he touched it that it would power off the machine. And, to be frank, it is one of those cases where the phone has become smarter than the owner, so trying to diagnose this remotely has been a challenge. LOL But I think my nephew figured it out as some kind of power app that he'd installed.
hi .
hi recently bought a nexus 5x .
well i have a weird problem.when im installing apk files every thing works till the app installed screen .then suddenly touching close and open button wont work until i press back button .
the only difference in before and after pressing back button is the color of my status bar that is black before pressing and grey after pressing .i have the screen shot below.thnx in advance
edit.it hapeend in another app .when playing clash royale in the middle of battle screen image stopped and showed some kind low quality static picture of battle instead of live gameplay .pressing back also solved it and i got back to gameplay .

Do you have something open that shows the bottom dock ?
If my keyboard is opened this arrow shows and when clicked it hides it.
Looks more like the remnant of a software bug
That's the 'hide keyboard' icon. No idea why it's stuck though.

I'd be more concerned about the seven dead white pixels (seventh directly below phone icon) that have ended up on your screenshot, lol. However that happened. Screenshots don't capture dead pixels. Odd.
At first, I was going crazy and thought it's my OLED TV, but no, it's your screenshot. Odd.

I saw that Gmail supports double-pane view on foldables, but not sure how to get this to work on my ZFold4, any suggestions?
It's only ever worked for me in landscape mode, which is pretty lame. I tried to find a way to force it enabled in portrait a while back to no avail. Not sure if something's changed since, though.
thanks, so it does work, but not in portrait mode............ugh
I think we need to wait for an app update.
I'm still waiting for tablet (foldable) opimized support of the Google app, and I haven't seen it on my Fold 4 yet...
Just got a Gmail update. Still no double pane in portrait.
Have it in portrait mode.

Sorry, I thought you said you had it in portrait.
My mistake, it's landscape. That's what happens when your phone is almost square...sigh.
