[THEME] TWGB 1.0 | For TouchWiz Blue and Gingerbread Lovers | For Froyo-based ROMs

Hi everyone, this is for Samsung Galaxy S users who like the vibrant colours brought about by TouchWiz but does not like it to be too colourful.
This theme emphasises on the beauty of Blue from Stock touchWiz and adds the touch of Green from Gingerbread.

This theme package is based on R64's Cool Blue Theme.
Therefore, it should work on most popular custom ROMs (Darky's / Doc's / webstar's / jim_panse's)
It DOES NOT WORK with non-deodexed ROMs. (i.e. Stock ROMs)
Package is ClockWorkMod (CWM) Recovery flashable.
Installation:
1. DOWNLOAD and Copy TWGB_1.0.zip into your Galaxy S's internal SD memory (mnt/sdcard).
2. Reboot your phone into CWM Recovery and install.
Version/Change Log:

Humbly speaking, I do not deserve any credit as I just merely extract images from other themes and compile them to produce this theme. Therefore this is others' effort and I would like to express my gratitude to these forumers whose theme elements have been extracted.

Hello, I have a problem with installing this theme. If I install this theme through CWM phone will not turn on. Only lights up the screen with the Galaxy S logo. Do you have any solutions for me? THX for your answer.

Hi, did you flash it from a stock rom or other custom roms? Becoz there is no problem flashing this theme on my rom. This CWM package is supposedly flashable on popular custom rom such as Darky's/Doc's/webstar's/jim_panse's jpu/x/y roms.

Does the Theme have multiple lockscreens.....if not would it be possible to add them

I use Froyo 2.2.1, concretely version XWJS7 with DXJPB modem and Hardcore speedmod k13b 500 hz kernel, is it problem?
I want to find a solution how install your theme on my rom, because your theme is amazing...

But who's rom do you use to flash the theme? Or are you using a rooted stock rom?

I use the stock rom that I downloaded from the samfirmware.com (I9000XWJS7). After flash this rom I load new kernel (Hardcore speedmod k13b 500hz) and consequently I used Root and Lagfix throught CWM. And now if I install your theme I have a problems which I wrote in my 1st post. Do you know where is the problem?

U need to have deodexed rom installed (Darkyy, Doc etc.) so stock is out of question here.

People please help me suggest any wishes/improvements you will like for the next upgrade for the theme. Thx!

I installed this theme on Doc's ROM (JS8) and it works great!
I would like to see a circle battery icon (maybe as an option). The text inside the current battery icon is too small to read.
Also, can you add the rotary unlock screen?

If u look properly then the current colour is very close to ics blue. And anything low then this brightness wont look good. I'll make 5 tabs tomorrow.

I just theme the original 14 toggle mod. I havent made it. Ask qobok, the original maker of this mod to make one for jva and I'll theme it.

I've no status bar and no notifications
Tried to wipe cache/ dalvik cache/fix permissions but same thing.
Any idea?

Sorry to say but u did something wrong, I also faced this problem once. Relfashing v8.1 and then flashing this will solve the problem. DoctorZ ROM v9 will have this included .

Just flashed through CWM as usually. I don't see where I can do something wrong
The flash succeed normally and say complete but when I Boot the phone, it works normally and can access all the menus but no status bar/ notifications.
The only solution to get the status bar is by replacing the systemUI in system/app with the original one extracted from the rom.

Maybe a bad flash, reflash DoctorZ ROM v8.1 and then flash my themed mod.

How to install what you find here:
Copy Zip File onto the root directory of the Internal SD to your mobile phone.
Go into recovery mode (High Volume + Home Button + Power On Button) or press on the Power menu to recovery. (I suggest clearing Dalvik and cache)
Install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard (not apply /sdcard/update,zip)
Search for the Zip File
Then Yes - Install Theme.zip
IMPORTANT!!!! This is a large file everyone. Make sure if it does not flash that you have downloaded on a PC (phone downloads get corrupt) and and repeat the flash in cwm (after clearing cache and dalvik) until it takes... This sometimes takes up to 3 tries to flash (just stay in cwm and repeat and repeat until it works... It will...)

Then try again with installing the Clicker.apk first then the provided HTC_IME_MOD.apk I provided.

Thanks Jay! I know some people been waiting for a bloodier theme lol... Yeah i love that epicaosp rom... Its smooth... But you are prob right, it has a lot of samsungs stuff removed so when you throw a theme on it that adds those files back in... It could mess it up... Hopefully this will run a little smoother for ya?!

Yeah..So far same problem but NO BIGGIE!! I'm gonna try a fresh install to see if this theme will or will not work for this rom..Will post back in a few!!!

Yes it will... but it will change calks dialer mods back to the regular dialer functions...

Remember , for 10 minute’s do not touch the ROM just let it sit it’ll make a huge difference speed wise .
Flash this ROM , let it sit for about 10 minute's then boot into recovery
and download this theme and then let it boot . It will give you the full ICS expierence , i was having problem's inserting it into the ROM so just after you flash the ROM flash the theme as well .

This is an awesome ROM. Super nice and slick. Runs super smooth and great battery life. It looks super sexy. It made my phone better colors and better sound. It is now louder. This is the best ROM I have ever used!

Been running this rom for a couple days now and it is fast stable and solid. Rev out in a lot of hard work on it and it shows. Have fun with it folks!!! Make sure you flash the ICS crt from the theme thread after you flash the theme. Also the tiny battery % mod works as well (must be flashed AFTER the theme) AND....if you want the 14 toggles just push the systemui.apk form jugs (thanks team KANG) BEFORE flashing the theme. Of course the rom is just fine out of the box. But that is as always personal preference.
One more thing...MMS send perfectly on this rom on wifi calling, unlike other ROMs I've tried it on.

i flashed the rom then when I try to flash the theme (ICS all roms complete 2.1) it says installation aborted.

your flashing the wrong theme not for KL1

This has been ported from the S4 but I have changed a few of the SystemUI icons (wifi, signal and battery). If they are not to your liking you can change them if you wish. There are lots of available icons within xda, you just have to look for them!​

Included with this are Bottom Toggles (No Brightness Slider), Sense style Recents App, Edgezoom and Call Button in Logs​
What's required?​
1. A Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100) with Custom Recovery
2. De-odexed TW Stock Based ROM
3. A clean install (your ROM as is with no other mods flashed)
4. NO Xposed frameworks etc (it will not work)
5. A ROM that is NOT already heavily modded!​
Install instructions​
1. Download Theme (latest version) from the link below
2. Copy it to your phones INTERNAL memory
3. Boot into recovery
4. Wipe Cache
5. Flash Theme (install script will wipe dalvik)
6. Re-boot (may take a couple of minutes)
7. Enjoy
8. A restore zip is created at the end of the flash and location presented on screen​

Thanks mate....thought I would leave a parting gift. S4 stuff taking up alot of my time in here now. Got real responsibilities now with the new title also .....LOL :laugh:

I think I need to fix the Signal Icons??? Can anyone confirm please

You are ok to flash newer version over older one. If you have any other theme flashed I would advised to do a no wipe install......to remove other theme......kalagas mixed.
