MMS doesn't work on KitKat? - LG Optimus G Pro

I'm on stock kikkat using the E90 G Pro on Tmobile USA. After I updated from Jellybean to KitKat, the MMS stops working. It appears to a common issue with the KitKat update on the LG G2 also. I'm guessing the bug is related to LG's KitKat update in general. Any solutions?

Apn settings correct? I installed the stock kk restore last night and was successful with sending and receiving pics.

I went back and did the KitKat update through restore again and MMS worked on the 2nd go around.

I am on Bell using the 973 and don't have any problem with the wifi and never have, so just an fyi to people that its not like that issue is across the board for everyone with this handset.
And op its not for bell to fix its for lg to fix..
For the record, I had the Wi-Fi forget issue for a few weeks and then one day it suddenly stopped.
Try forgetting the network, then reboot. That's what I did, but I can't say if that was the solution.
My OG had this issue, but after downgrading to 10f so i can root, fixed it, even upgrading back to 10h.

Gapps don't work on LTE

I have flash cm 10.2 several time fresh install every time. I followed the op to the T, even went back to stock and started over again a couple of times. Tried a different ROM and still getting the same issue. I flashed the modem in cm 10.2 thread but the play store and Google now won't work on LTE. It works on H+ fine I googled it and can't find anyone else with the same problem. I even flashed different 4.3 gapps. Please help

APN settings for your carrier correct? Does LTE work for other apps?
Sent from my LG-E980 using xda app-developers app
Yes every thing else works
Sent from my LG-E980 using xda app-developers app
Maybe you don't have LTE in your area. The 4G displayed on LG stock is actually only H+ unless it says 4G LTE.

go back to a 4.3 rom. 4.4 is relatively new and not even officially supported by our phones. And by 4.4 i assume you mean the cyanogen mod 4.4 rom. That is also really new and is going to have plenty of bugs for a long while

I think you can restore to a compatible ROM, back up the most recent messages you want with SMS backup and restore, then go back to cm and restore. Like the guy said above me, this ROM isn't even for our device and its brand new so there will be some bugs.

Thanks, I'm using gummy as well and no issues whatsoever, is there a way to apply theme chooser themes?

I'm on 4.4 and outside of the occasional incompatible app, it's pretty good. Clock won't update though...

MMS not working in hangouts

I received the hangouts 2.0 update last night via the play store. I noticed that it can't receive or send pics.
Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix or is this a google thing?

Its an issue when you're on the stock ROM but it works fine on a custom Rom
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
That's too bad as I'm fine with the stock ROM. It has a custom kernel though. Hopefully they fix it as I'm enjoying using hangouts for sms right now.

Still not working after an update and I'm running Beanstalk 4.4
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
I haven't used it in a month. Send and receive enough pics that it was an issue. I did the update but still haven't tried yet. Maybe later I will just to test on a stock ROM.

Make sure you have it set as the SMS app in the hangouts settings menu. I was baffled by it for a minute until I caught it.
Edit: Misread MMS for SMS, my fault

It works for me now. Just takes longer than sending one through the regular messaging app.
