I am using the LG G3 wireless charge that came with the set.
It has a problem of keep turning on and off the "wireless charge XX%..... blue battery" screen on and off between this screen and black screen
Most of the time it happen, rarely it does not.
Anyone has a solution?
If you've got an official WCD-100, and you're using the official phone charger & cable, then something sounds faulty - either the phone or the WCD-100.
Do you have a case on your G3 which could restrict the wireless charging field and are you using the mains power plug and cable that came with your phone which gives the correct amount of power?
The problem wont be there if I switch data off. Strange, isn't it???
I am not using any other cover but the one come with the phone.

Hi Everyone,
This happens every now and then - wondering if anyone is seeing the same thing.
The scenario is this:
My phone will be on my desk, charging. Notification light is blinking showing it is charging.
Phone suddenly wakes up, showing the lockscreen. Charging stops, as if the power usb isn't connected.
I have to then plug/unplug the power to get it to start charging again.
This is happening with a 1 amp charger I always used to charge my Note 1 - it's the one I use at work.

You have to use the charger provided with the note 2.

I don't see why this would be true. I was wondering if you need a minimum amperage to charge the phone.
But most of the time, it charges up just fine, outside of the occasional interrupt.
It also charges up in my car charger.

Good luck.

same happens with my s3. actually started when it got the official JB update.
thing is; I always use its original charger...
fullwipe didn't help.
It seems the beast Is lowering the amount lt pulls to the available ampera ge and one step under that. This could explain the situation I guess.

There have been numerous cases reported here where the usb cable was loose in the socket due to the way the bezel protrudes, preventing full seating of the plug in the socket. Try jiggling the cable while charging and see if it interrupts.
If so, you may have to shave off some plastic from the usb plug to allow it to completely seat.

Wow..same thing happen to me. I thought im the only one with this problem. Im using my old htc charger 1A + original note 2 cable charger. So what did i do, i try to change the cable with others htc brand micro usb cable which i buy later. Problem solve!!
Not sure what is the real problem..is it the 1A current not enough for battery 3100mA charging, or the original cable charger which suppose for 2A flow is not suitable for 1A flow??

after switching to 2A chargers, this problem has never reoccurrred.

So when I first got my phone, beside plugging into my laptop, my phone use to charge at a normal rate (which was pretty fast) but recently I've notice that whenever I start charging my phone, a message in the notification would appear saying something along the lines of slow charging due to low current in TA. I hope there isn't a malfunction in my phone.
Can anyone help?
Unless I use the charger that came with the phone, I get that message. I think it's a software thing.

But I am using the charger that came with the phone.
Try a different usb cable.

Make sure the plug is all the way in, it's possible your case (if you have one) is block the plug from fully connecting. I noticed that if I don't push the micro usb plug all the way into the charging port, I will get the notice that I am in slow charging mode.
I have the slow charging issue when my phone is in ##DIAG# mode. Turn off diag fixes the issue. If not using diag, maybe try changing usb mode from charging only to mtp.. or something?
My problem is that my charge port was jammed full of pocket lint. I used a flashlight, pin and a plastic straw cut to a point to clean it all out, there was just about a small animal in there. The cable went in about a mm further and back to charging full speed.

I bought this item and IT WONT WORK properly with Nexus 5 Phones.
To sumarize:
- It's behaviour is erratic. Sometimes it charges the phone, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it charges for a few minutes then it stops with no apparent reason. Sometimes the green light (means the device is charging) is still lit but the device is not charging anymore...
- if you try to charge the phone overnight you can wake up with a bad surprise (as I did) and the phone powered off because it stoped charging.
- During night, I use gentle alarm and it keeps my screen on (dark, just showing the time). It seems this QI charger is not even able to deal with it because it stops charguing the phone after a few minutes. If you pick the phone ant put it in the QI charger surface it will start charging again but, once again, it will stop somewhere later. USELESS!
- It is not able to hold the phone. Not at all. I thougt my phone would stick to the charger but it wont (maybe this charger can hold lighter phones, but not the N5). The only way I could make it tho hold my phone was keeping the protection plastic film that came with the charger (and is suposed to be removed and thrown away) as it seems to increase the adherence between the charger and the phone.
In short: I'm disappointed and have to advice you all not to buy it.

What are you using to power your Qi charger? From the sounds of it turning on and off and having sporadic performance, it seems like it is not being given enough juice. Are you just plugging the Qi charger/included cable into a PC USB port or something?
The best way to make sure a Qi charger works properly is to plug it into a wall outlet using an AC adapter/cable that provides equal, or more current than the required input. Your Qi charger says Input DC 5V 1.5A. So you should have an AC adapter that provides that, as well as a USB cable that supports high speed charging (like the stock Nexus 5 cable).
Have you tried using the stock Nexus 5 AC adapter and stock Nexus 5 USB cable? Most included USB cables that ship with Qi chargers are quite crap. I know that the stock Nexus 5 AC adapter is 1.2A, but it is still a good block and should power your Qi charger well enough until you get a higher output AC adapter. If you haven't, try testing your Qi charger using that block and cable and see if there is an improvement.
Yes, I tried all that. I used several ac adapters, including N5 charger and 2 Samsung adapters

I guess if that's the case then try contacting the seller and asking for a refund or replacement. You probably got a lemon.
Tell them it doesn't perform properly or show them with pictures and/or video of the slow charging/disconnects.

some ebay sellers are so dodgy i try to stick to amazon and purchase items with "known" customer reviews...
I have my ls990 on BarePop, which is the only option that I know of that has a working NFC. I'm all set up for wireless charging with the wireless sticker on the inside of my cover and if course the wireless charger.
When I set it on the circle, it starts to charge, gives me the warning that charging is slower than plugging in, shows charging for another 3 or 4 seconds, and then stops charging. This has been an issue since I hooked myself up. The charging drops after about 15 seconds.
I wonder if it's a shoddy sticker (which looks to be correctly placed) or a funky charger (Ankor from Amazon). Has anyone experienced this symptom or know what the problem could be?

Did you use a power adapter that is rated 1.5A or above? I used my old Nexus 5 charger (rated 1.3A) and my Qi charging is cutting on and off. Once I changed back to the original G3 charger, the Qi charging is stable.
That might be a really good call! I thought it was a good charger by a trusted manufacturer, but I checked and it's only a 1 amp output Anker. Makes sense, especially if you had similar symptoms with a low amp device.
Thanks for responding!
I purchased a used G3 (Sprint) a couple of weeks ago, and the phone has been functioning fine to date, except for the wireless charging. I purchased two separate QI stickers and wireless charging pads via ebay, and all combinations are having the same effect- the phone will recognize the wireless charging, but immediately power off. If I have the phone off and place it on the wireless charger, it'll boot up the phone and then turn it right back off. I've tried multiple cables, chargers, and it's the same thing every time. I've done some searching online and can't seem to find this problem replicated anywhere else.
The phone charges fine when plugged into a conventional charger. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software problem- I've yet to do a hard reset on my device to see if that changes anything.
Has anyone seen this happen, or have any insight? Thanks
Bump...anybody?

I am charging over LG wireless charger (WCP-300) and tested on nokia Qi charger (dt-903) with no issue. Tray with different Qi charges. If it do again make hard reset. Tray maybe to replace the back cover to borrow for some one who has same phone and make test. If it does not work send phone to service.
