Well if you're talking about the stock clock then it SHOULD only appear under 'All', also having 0 data isn't bad as I can get that by pressing clear data. Have you tried Disabling and Re-enabling the app? Maybe force stopping might help too.
Thanks Sgtpanda for your reply, it looks like he was messing around in my file manager at the time..... I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. the button on top where your supposed to be able to disable/enable app...it says uninstall updates..but I have no update for the app? It just disappears altogether when I press uninstall updates...until I reboot again it shows the same thing?.......beating my head..

Okay then, open up your file manager and browser to /system/app, scroll down and there should be DeskClockGoogle.apk at 473.90k and DeskClockGoogle.odex ad 90.27K. Are both of those still present on your device?

Yes they are....just tried to install through there and no dice.
Right so when you try to install the app it says 'Application not installed', because if that's the case then I just broke my clock by moving it and when I put it back I got the same problem as you, the solution was to switch the device on and off which sounds really stupid, but have you tried that?

II tried a reboot and It didn't work either, I don't wanna have to factory reset but I just might have to.. Thank for your help
Well that should work, if you've already done it then hope it did, otherwise my last idea would be to extract the app from a stock rom and overwrite your files.

Did you try removing your Google account? Reboot and then add it back. It may help.
Edit: Never mind, just remembered a factory reset would have deleted the account already. Sorry.

This is not that helpful of a post. Any time you factory reset, you are doing the exact same thing. Might as well tell people not to flash new kernels or roms.
To the OP, you need to unregister your google account under Settings and then re-add.
This should fix the issue.
No big deal.
you may have to do a factory reset if this doesn't fix it.

HI,
I just tried to update my 4gb model and now got problems so can anyone help me ?
i rooted via method 2 ................Method 2: Root through temporary CWM
i done root to move bloatware to disable but keep apps in recycle bin so to keep them safe.
i see the update was out so i found the apps i moved and clicked reinstall them.
then went to the supersu and clicked unroot. waited 20 mins which i thought was done. restarted the phone and clicked on the update.
it started to update then failed........ and now the keeps giving me . unfortunatley the setup wizard has stopped.
i then tried factory reset but still get the setup wizard has stopped and thats it. it just keeps repating the same notice....
is it dead

Ok i managed to get the device into recovery mode. The dead robot appeared so done as the guide said press power and push up vol and release.
Got to the the options and chose wipe cache then selected reset phone but still the setup wizard keeps stopping as soon as the phone starts up.
Have i deleted the wizard setup hence why it dont work ?
I can get to options menu still and connect wifi etc. Checked for update and nothing. I cant even make calls or nothing now :crying:
I just want it back to the day i got it new. Is this possible ?
Thanks again for any replys. Im in way over my head with this so beer token on offer to who solves this.
If you can get into settings you could try going to apps and force closing set up wizard, you could also try wiping it's data or cache if that does not work.

Hi, thanks 4 the reply.
I just tried it and no luck. I stopped the wizard process then restarted phone.
It starts to say updating andriod apps on a white screen and there is only 8 apps to update usually there is like 60+ apps it runs through.
Looks like Im missing a load of apps .
Yes it looks like you have an incomplete or corrupt flash. You are probably best to follow one of the guides to go back to stock and start again from scratch.

I rooted my phone with kingo root app to root my phone. After which I got rid of bloatware apps on my phone and now pretty much all my apps have stopped working. I can't go to google play use google now synch my google account. Messaging app will load but not that messages when I click it they all say the app has stopped. I was going to install cloudyg3 but now I just want my phone back to normal. I've tried factory reset still won't fix it. I've been trying and googling for about 5 days now and can't figure it out.
