[Q] Not Receiving Phone calls on [4.4.2] SlimKat ROM - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hello,
I have flashed a [4.4.2] SlimKat ROM on my Samsung Grand Duos. It was working fine, but from 2-3 days I am having problem of not receiving calls. I can make outgoing calls, but can't receive incoming calls. I tried calling from my home number, it's ringing, but I am not receiving any calls. When I put the phone in airplane mode, the incoming call is disconnected. But I don't receive any messages or miss calls.
Hope you'll help me.
Thank You

Try Wipe Data/Factory Reset through recovery. It might help.

I tried that, it acted as a temporary solution. I got the same problem after a few days. I can't understand its baseband problem or ROM issue. If it was baseband problem I would not be getting a mobile signal but I can make outgoing calls, cannot receive incoming calls.

Flash another ROM which is currently active in XDA threads http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-duos/development as Xenon92 stopped updating Slimkat any further. It's not active anymore.

I tried CM 11.0, but same problem after a few days. Is it because of Rom or app I cannot figure it out.

No incoming call notifications

My phone will switch itself off when in standby mode from time to time and it's a pain in the neck. I don't know if that's related to the main issue.
I can't receive incoming calls for periods of time, but I can still receive voicemail alerts. Yesterday, I was just picking up voicemail after voicemail. On top of this, intermittantly I won't get an incoming phone call notification, just the missed call icon afterwards.
I'm currently running Black 2.0 with Radio 1.38.00.10. Anyone got any ideas?
I suspect your phone is going into HSDPA mode and the network is not letting calls through during that time. I had the same problem on my non-operator bought phone with my provider 3-Sweden until I installed their extended ROM. If your operator hasn't offered a solution, you could try getting HTweakC and turning HSDPA off (this still allows regular 3G connections, which do allow incoming calls regardless).
I have a similar problem...
except mine has gone into this mode of operation permanently.
I'm running Black Satin & a radio ver 1.48 When I receive a call, the signal strength icon drops out & goes searching meanwhile the call is diverted to message box. My outgoing calls work fine as does both out & incoming SMS messages. I've tried changing swapping my sim card but it still does it with the different Sim. I've tried reflashing the roms & hard booting but the problem persists. I don't know whether this is a hardware issue or whether the firmware isn't working correctly with my operator vodafone NZ

Incoming calls not coming though via Google Voice

I have been using GV for a while and had not problems until this week. My phone has been unusually quiet. Turns out that I am not receiving my incoming calls at all. I only figured this out because I was getting GV vmail notifications but there were no missed calls in my call log.
Has anyone else had this problem/ Does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks!!!!!
I think that you need to go to the google voice page and have it forwarded to your phone.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Thanks for the reply Ruben but I already have it forward to phone. Until this last week. I can get GV to forward to home, work, etc.... It just does not want to forward/work on my cell. I have had the DI since launch date and it fx well till now.
I though that maybe it was b/c I rooted but then I removed/reverted to back to stock and still no luck. My wife and brother have the same issue.... ODD
If you make a call outbound, does the caller id on the receiver's phone have your GV number? IE: Does it GV work outbound but not inbound?
Have you tried to un-forward and then re-forward the GV?
All outbound calls work. Also when making an out bound call it will display my GV #in the caller id. I have tried un forwarding and then re-forwarding. I've even hard reseted the phone. uninstalled the app and tried to see if I can receive calls. Reinstalled the app, changed settings to ask b4 making calls, deleted my phone from GV and re-added it. So far no luck.
I am getting the same problem. No incoming calls, but can do outgoing calls.
Running an unrooted N1 with FRF91
Just tested with my DInc by calling via GV to GV of my friend's DInc, still working for us.
Unrooted Incredible
GV is still a bit of a work in progress. I have had some minor trouble with it in the past. Sometimes you need to reset your settings or just wait it out if its an issues with their servers. For the most part it has been problem free.

True... I had it when it was Grand Central....until now I have had an flawless experience with GV. Seems like once they transitioned from invitations their servers became bogged down.

Google voice not showing right outgoing number in ICS

I just upgraded my phone from GB to ICS 4.0.4. I was running Juggernaut ROM before, but I did a backup and factory reset in CWM recovery before installing 4.0.4.
Everything seems to be working well except for outgoing calls in Google Voice. I have my GV set to "Use for all calls." When I make a call, it shows the GV routing number, instead of the number I dialed. This is true for the call log too. This happens regardless of where I call from: using the keypad or from the contact list. Incoming calls are working fine. This definitely was NOT happening in 2.3.x, and I had been using it for many months without this issue. Has anyone seen this, or know if there's a fix?
Thanks!

There's an app in the Play store that will fix this problem for Android phones. Just search the Google Play store for "GV Outbound Call Log Repair"

Incoming call issue

Hello there, im having an issue where incoming call show as unknown call even if the caller is saved in my contacts, my redmagic 5g is on the latest update EU official rom
I have exactly the same issue.
There is no fix, you either have to deal with it or get a different phone.
I'm waiting for the OnePlus 9 in March.
Bruh how how a massive issue like this not get fixed
No issue on NA rom - is it possible your contact is calling from a private number?
Otherwise, make sure phone app has contacts permission.

Unable to receive phone calls after LineageOS update

I've been running LineageOS 17.1 on my Mi Mix 2 (chiron) for some time without any issues but from November or December last year when I update to the latest build no phone calls come through. I can receive SMS and make outgoing calls, but incoming calls do not work at all. The other side can hear the ringing tone, but my phone does not do a thing. I had to revert back to the last working build I know of from 12th Nov 2020. I am trying every few weeks but still no luck even with the latest version from 3/11.
I guess it must be a firmware or baseband compatibility issue, but I have not found anything about it, there are no minimum requirements anywhere on the device's wiki page.
Did anyone had a similar issue?
I am facing same problem.
please give me solution.
