[Q] Change root?

Hi,
I got a rooted wildfire with some old version of root but it's still rooted. Is there any reason to use a newer root to re-root or is that completely unnecessary?
Also, is there any reason why I should update clockwork mod?
Thanks on beforehand!
Not necessary, your "old" root should do.
Clockworkmod 3.x is necessary if you intend to flash Gingerbread ROM's.

Original ROM + root

Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to install the original ROM and still maintain root, even after OTA updates.
If so, where can I find the original ROM?
Yes.
Stock ROM images: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Keep root across OTA updates: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.projectvoodoo.otarootkeeper

[Q] Install TWRP without root using ODIN?

Hello,
I have read somewhere that is possible to install TWRP without the need to have root access before installing TWRP. Just a simple flash with ODIN should do the trick. Has anyone tried this on the note 2014?
Regards,
Trzema
of course you can do that.
TWRP is used to manage ROMs and BACKUPs, it had no effect to your installed rom.
but it will trip your knox flag like rooting does.
you can also root without installing TWRP.
