[Q] Optimus G (e977) problem - HELP ME!!! - Sprint LG Optimus G

Hi guys
I'm totally new here. So, if I'm in a wrong section please let me know.
At first - This DUMB here, won't made a backup. So I'm f**ked
I have a E977 phone and tried to flash a rom (bootloader unlocked and recovery ok.), but something went wrong... and when I try to boot, appears the LG logo and a black screen... that's all. But I can notice that the phone is on that the rear was getting hot and the battery decreasing (I can notice that when I plug in the charger).
And when I put in the charger, appears the battery charging and then this screen in attachment
Can you guys help me? Please
Oh, almost forgot: I'm brazilian, so my english is really BAD. If you won't understand something, tell me.

I can't see the pic because I am at work and it is blocked, but what cell provider is it from? I can't find E977 anywhere. I found e975 but they're not the same. There are a ton of brick fixes around that flash a recovery and let you flash a new ROM.
2 main questions I have that might matter to me.
1) What recovery do you have installed?
2) What ROM did you flash?
From what I read, the e977 is the same as the e975 with a different LTE band, so you might be able to use the info from the e975 and then flash the correct modem on yours.
Read this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249500
Read it all, there's a lot but I am sure someone with an e977 has had the same issue.

Blank screen after unlocking (E975) / abnormal boot-behavior

Hi everbody!
After unlocking my LGOG (E975) a weird issued appeard: When phone is in standby and I try to boot it up as always (before unlocking) by Long pressing standby-button for a few moments, the LG logo comes up, and then only a black blank Screen (after 10 minutes or so this repeats) If I immedeately after disappearing LG-logo I press the standby-button again, the well known animated logo appears and everything is OK.
On the other Hand: when I connect a completely battery-empty LGOG ONLY the black Screen appears, after some reboots with hold standby-button the White battery loading Symbol appears...
Has it something to do with Fast-Boot (how to change any options?) or with unlocking via FreeGee. So far I was unable to find any similar issues like this... It bothers me always to press standby-button twice to boot up. If I missed the correct Timing I have to hold standby to turn off the phone correctly. Please help me!! Thank you guys!!
Wrong thread dude.
Oops, thanks man. Could an admin please move my thread to the Q&A section? Thanks!

Same here. I wanted to write about this myself. Did you Install TWRP or CWM? Someone who useses exactly the same SW baseband kernel and LG ROM like me as a base does not have the issue and we were trying to figure it out. He unlocked installed CWM and CM10.1.

OK, so getting back to business i can see this is a problem when charging the phone. If i shutdown, then charge then in the morning unplug > phone shuts down again (from charging mode) and i power it up it doesn't boot the ROM.
I tested this situation and i saw that sometimes it doesn't even enter charging mode after a shutdown. I will test later and comeback. Maybe others can relate and give ideas.

Hello,
I have the exact same problem with my Lg e975.
If the battery is empty , i can not turn my phone on while charging. I think it is not even charging sometimes. I thought it was because of charger but i think it may because of phone.
Today i am charging 10 minutes still phone going black screen after LG logo. :crying: even not sure if it is charging.

Any solution for this? I have the same happen to my e975. I figure using freegee somehow corrupted the bootloader, so plan on either flashing a new bootloader or just an official update from LG and start from scratch again? Has anyone tried this?

Problem is its my wife's phone so wont try it until i get my nexus 5 and she can use my nexus 4 if i brick it.
***edit*** according the Houstonn, the bootloader located here: http://downloads.codefi.re/houstonn/lgog/misc/cwm-geeb-4-3-z20i-bootloader_only.zip it should be able to be used on any LGOG. IF you are game give it a go but i won't be responsible for any bricks. I will test it when i get my nexus 5. Its a 4.3 bootloader that can be flashed using CWM.

No idea mate. I assume you would have to find a full stock rom and just flash that via normal update methods. I don't plan on ever going back to the crap that LG call stock.

Happened again just now.
The problem is when it is at this strange black screen it is not charging!
Just i put my phone to charge left there 1 hours. Just wanted to turn on but didn't. Pluged of the charger and phone is not booting because battery seems to empty. Just i put it back to charge and restarted it 10 times nearly. Now the phone turned on and started to recharging from 0!
I feel like phone going and coming back to life. Some day will not turn on.
Ya.. . Lg phones has this weird behaviour.... Even with charger plugged and empty battery you can't switch on your mobile... I think it always take power from battery even with charger connected....

Bootloop after restart

Hey there
I'm new here and didn't know where I should cry about this problem.
I just dropped my phone and the battery popped out. Now I've got one of those "bootloops" I think you call them, that point where you get stuck at the LG logo blinking.
I think I got that bootloop because I modified a bit the "mixer_path.xml" to push my volume on the headset, if not, I don't know what happens. Now my question, what should I do? I don't mind if I have to do a hard reset, havn't got nothing important on the memory. But still, I can't do a hard reset with the hardware keys. Now my question, can I do something with that piece and a computer ? I read that you can "repair" it with LG PC Suite or something but I just can't find the button for repair . I can enter download mode if that's important to know but nevermind. Nothing else. Please help me asap.
Thank you
Greetings !
You softbricked it. Which variant is it? HERE is a guide for the Sprint version, but you must use the .dll and .tot for YOUR version of the phone.

[Q] LG G3 stopped

My LG G3 stop to work, i touched on the screen but no answer just the LED flashed. I had to remove the battery, but when i turned it on just displayed the LG screen and stayed there. I changed the rom using flash tool for Lollipop, the cell phone turned on but song and some apps didn't work. I tried to install Kitkat version again, but it did work. The kitkat rom dont start on my cell phone.
Another problem is i have to keep my screen on all the time, if i do 2 taps on screen or press the on/off button the screen get off and nothing can make it on, just taking off the battery and turning on the cell phone again.
Please people help me. I know you are the best in the world and anyone here in Brazil could help me.
Sorry about the english i don't have a good one.

Hello. ?
I will write easy English so you understand.
Please go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 and read the first post [#1 message].
Follow the instructions CAREFULLY.
It will teach you how to get your phone back to KitKat.
You can also download the firmware KitKat for your phone model from there.
If you don't understand how to do it you can ASK FOR HELP to @hyelton or also to @raptor2003 on that thread.
They are both nice people who help lots of users. They will do their best.
I am trying to help you because I can imagine how you must feel with your phone.
Relax because your phone will be restored and OK.
Good luck. ?

Hi.
If you have tried the Hard Reset and it did not work then I have to ask you if you are still under shop or LG Warranty. If you are take it back.
It may seem obvious to you my reply but it is so. If you can return it you do not want a problematic phone right?
However:
If you do not have the Warranty any longer then your best and perhaps only solution is to flash with a computer <preferably windows 7> a KDZ or TOT+DLL file. This will flash the LG stock firmware back into your phone and eliminate this issue and make it like when it first came out of LG factory.
Be careful to READ and understand very well this process. YOU MUST choose the correct KDZ or TOT file for your model. If you flash the wrong file for your model...goodbye LG G3! Do not be in a hurry until you completely understand the whole process.
Below is a link to an XDA thread where you will find LOTS of help in doing this. The OP of this thread @hyelton is a really nice and helpful guy and has helped thousands of people. Just head over to the thread, first READ the OP and then post your questions and you will get help.
If you have no Warranty do this. Be patient and YOU WILL get your beloved G3 fixed.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
Good luck.
