I have an oportunity to buy Desire for a very good price from my relative but with some kind of a problem and I would like to find out what it is...
The problem is that the display light do not want to turn off even if the settings says that the light should shut down in 15 seconds. Because of that the battery life is shorter.
So...anybody knows where the problem is? Is that a hardware or software issue?
Software issue. The screen turns off when you turn it off by power button (quick press only) right? You should terminate every running application/service on your phone because one of them is most likely keeping your display on.
Brand new S only day old and it will be charging than the screen will turn on to a greenish gradient screen as if a screensaver turned itself on. Took me a while to figure out where to turn off the default screensaver app but now I am getting this weird behavior. Any know reason or how to fix?

I would do a reset from the settings menu, if you still have problems straight after that your tablet is faulty and you should return it.

His tablet is only a day old, I suppose he has not flashed it, I would return it and get a refund or replacement, I would not mess about with it.

Hi.
My LG G3 D850 have some hardware issue.It is working i can receive calls but showes blank screen .when i tap on screen it lights up but blank.
I have replaced screen but it seems its problem in the board,not in screen .
I am also 100 percent sure its not software issue .
Kindly if someone had this kind of problem then guide me which component of the board is causing this problem.

I've (another) problem with my g7
When i use brightness boost the lower part of the display become very hot
Too hot that lcd backlight bleed occour in that zone
I've take a photo, the problem disappear when i disable boost

Strange one, do you always have the guaranty ?
Try to replace the screen or just check that the heat pipe is correctly placed.
And take a look at the battery !
