If someone use zerolemon Battery for Note 2 can Tell us what you think about it? The phone is too thick? the cover is good?Does it feel good in the hand? Does this battery have bad effective on the galaxy note 2? Can this battery cause explosion of the note 2?
If somebody have some battery stats with screen time on pls make a screenshot and post it here.
Thank you
I use it and its great! Makes the phone a little heavy but its about the same size as an Otterbox case.
Good: About 3 days battery life.
Bad: No NFC (was almost a deal breaker for me) Will hurt if you want to throw it at someone.
NFC is an easy fix.

I had tried that and couldn't get it working.
Did you make sure that the nfc chip worked? There are some back covers/nfc chips being sold online which are fake and don't actually work.
Yes
Bluemgt06, despite the NFC all the rest is that good so? What´s the price?
Long battery, but extremely heavy.
Not worth it in my opinion.
So.. someone says is good and someone says it's not worth to buy.
So I came up with a new question, better buy zerolemon or better buy an external batterie like ANKER?

Mate..ive recently bought ravpower extended battery. Its 6200mah and $20 on amazon. It comes with a back cover and I see it has nfc in it too. But am not too sure koz I dont use nfc. Ive posted pics in accesories section. Check it out! Till now am really satisfy. Only drawback is that it takes very long to charge..about 4h from 0 to 100. And also I feel the extended back cover makes it more handy. Feels nice in hand.

I've been using the ZeroLemon battery for about 5 months now and i do not regret spending 60 dollars on a battery case. the 6 hour batter life that I used to get on this phone extended to 6 days. However, you do have to charge the phone for like 12 hours (someone on this forum got an ENTIRE WEEK of battery life by charging the case 12 hours more than whats recommended, thats a WHOPPING 24 HOURS of charging).

Innocell 3800mAh Super Extended Life Battery
I have used Seido Cells with G1's before and they were still running just like new after 18 months of heavy usage, twice the battery life over stock. The case looked better on the G1 as the back was flush. On one of the phones the case did crack and break after a 3 ft fall. It was a cheap and quick replacement from Amazon, under ten bucks if I remember right.
The one offered is a 3800mah at 69.99 and shipping now.

I really want a better battery too, I'm waiting for ANKER to make one for the t989. I have no idea how people manage to squeeze so many hours from there phones on this stock battery, but I usually go 5-7 hours before it dies. I'm not a heavy user but I do have my screen to 100% all the time. I don't mind carrying spare batteries.

If people are really concerned about hte battery life etc, just get one of those mobile chargers. They will charge everything from laptops to cell phones...they are called power packs.

It's getting late......after a long day waiting for this 3250 mAh battery to go flat, here is my review for what it is worth.
I have been searching for a month to find a battery that had the capability to last me all day. Not a bulky one! One that would fit within the original case. Not make my phone look pregnant.
I wanted a battery that i could Take off charge at 8am being able to last me all day, with LIGHT to MEDIUM usage (not heavy use!), right up until I went to bed at 10 and put it back on charge.
Is this the one??? (battery photos below)
I sourced this one. It just about fits the phone. I had to peel the battery label off at all 4 corners to get it in. It's fits in fine with standard Samsung back on. No bulge. I put in straight into my phone and charged it up to 100% then took it off charge and restarted the phone.
I'm not expecting amazing results on this first drain as I am more than aware it will take 3 to 4 cycles to gain it's full effectiveness. I am however expecting it to beat my standard battery display time on this first drain as it holda 34% more charge and then improve again after 3 more days use!
My stock Samsung battery lasts normally 4 hours display time with light to medium use. I have google location turned off, brighteness to auto and i am running gingerbread LA6. Full Samsung stock fresh out of the box. No root. No mods at all. And I have all the Samsung crap turned on and registered. I have google email with 2 accounts running. I play the odd game, and text and email like crazy. I used Ebay app heavily and also surf the Web lots. There are widgets on all 7 screens running and I always have a heavy usage live wallpaper running.
Phone finally starting to go flat... I will take screen shots of battery use and upload them. With my finally thoughts and finally 1st battery use screen shots as soon as it goes flat.
And obviously I'll look forward to your valued thoughts and views and make use of your experience as I'm new to this.......hopefully won't be too long!
Bye 4 now
1st day results in.
2nd day results in..
Photos of battery weights...
3Rd day results...

When I had my SGS2, I bought a 3,500mAh battery from eBay. It lasted longer, but not as long as I expected.
I tested it with a battery analyzer and sure enough, it was 2,413mAh. I bought another two, those only measured out at about 2,100mAh.
Those high mAh ratings you see on ebay batteries are fake.

No fake as in false advertisement! That's not really 3250 or whatever mah. If it was why wouldn't Samsung have made a 3200 or 3500 mah stock size battery? I prefer stock battery. If you want that extra 100mAh, you could try Anker battery for SIII
if you dont car about price id say:
Mugen

Sedio

or you could make your own Samsung extended battery if your handy.

you should give us a bit more info on your preference to help you better. if you dont mind changing batteries out throughout the day you could just grab a 2nd OEM Samsung batt and be good?
or if you want the best slim battery? etc...

Hey over there,
I've tested Mugen, Seidio, Acase, qCell, and many, many more on the original Galaxy S (Epic for Sprint,) the Fascinate (Galaxy S for Verizon,) Epic Touch 4g (Galaxy S2 for Sprint,) and have been toying around with the S3 for Sprint and some friends' phones for about a month.
I'd say you have really two choices... drop the big money and buy ONE Mugen or Seidio, or just buy a couple qCell batteries. Of the five/six qCells I have used and/or tested on my friends' phones, I'd have to say that only one varied in charge capacity from 10-20% of the advertised charge capacity (4200mAH)... and that was after two months of usage that was inconsistent.
For $20 and standard Amazon Prime shipping, I'd just buy two qCells and call it a day. Even after a month of daily or every-other-day full charging, I have not noticed a "memory effect," (yes, Lithium Ion batteries have a memory effect and anybody who tells you otherwise can't spell "hysteresis").
Why buy two? First off, you're going to NEED TWO if you do deep fieldwork in urban environments like I do. There are some nights where I'm sleeping in a gutter in the middle of no where and have to have my phone on 4G to upload ethnographic observations. There are some days I will *not* have access to an electrical outlet, have to use 4G, data transfer, TeleNav, Google Maps, video capture software, sketching software, and a bunch of other *&#^ at the same time, and if you think for a SECOND that having two standard batteries is going to be enough, then you're insane. You need at *least* one, 4000mAH battery with a modern smart phone if you're going to be using these services HARD ALL DAY, and easily two after you've broken the batteries in for a few months.
(Ever try running from a crackhead in the South end of Chicago while changing your battery since you need to dial your primary investigator and tell him that you may not make it back to publish your thesis due to a massive stab wound? Yeah, that's what I thought).
Also, as a word of caution... remember... a lithium ion battery is like a horse's stomach:
1. It needs to be filled often.
2. It needs to be emptied often.
3. If it's used hard (aka extremely warm,) you need to give it a little break (let it cool down ~10 degrees F) before filling it again.
4. When you get a new one, always remember to establish a consistent feeding pattern for a while, (aka always completely empty and completely fill a new battery 10-20 times before you start charging it while half full or while the phone is on).
Hoppingfully yours,
--SLN

How much "screen on time" are you getting on that Rom? Screen on time is what matters. Anybody can make their phone last 20 hours with the way the usage & functions are being managed.
I prefer the stock battery, I personally don't like the larger battery because I bought my S3 for the slimness.
I'm running stock battery and cm10 milestone 1 and average well over 4 hours of screen time!

I haven't tried it yet since I'm hopefully getting a new phone soon but I do believe it would help, maybe an extra hour SOT because I know my battery was amazing back 2 years ago and now I get the same times you do if not worse.
After a year on mine I was only getting 1700mah, So now I get a new Anker 2200mah battery every 6 months because they are just as good as original but do last longer.
Theoretically yes! battery life should improve, as you will be having a new battery.
My battery is just over a year old and i get around a 1d12h worth of battery time and roughly 3.5 to 4 hours SOT.
I recently bought a Pisen 2100mah battery off the internet and for the same SOT i got more usage. maybe 1d 20h nearing the 2d use.
n.b; wifi is always on. i use 3G for like 30 mins during a day
from what I've heard, newer generations of batteries, like ones that ship with SGS3, should not be drained to 0% with phone shutting down. it was advised to charge at low percents like 1% to 5% while phone is still on

Of course it would and if you dont have problem with size and weight i recomend you to get samsung's 3000mhA battery. Why not getting a bigger battery
It depends how old the battery is though. All Li-ion batteries degrade over time, even if they aren't used. So if you get a 2 year old battery, that has been sitting on a shelf somewhere, it won't help as much as you'd hoped. Depending on the temperature and charge level it was stored at, it could have lost a lot of its capacity.
So the trick is to get a newly manufactured battery, which isn't so easy since most sellers don't write this information.

Since a bigger battery means the battery is thicker, the original back cover wouldn't fit, then you need to use a specific cover which would make your phone heavier.
Right now I am in this trouble,I got a Onite 4500mAh extended battery with a blue cover, hopefully it's a great product, shipping as listed and battery performs exactly as listed,I just don't like the cover,it made my phone looked heavier.I was wondering maybe I should choose a power bank and put back my OEM one on.

This is true. You also need to account for your usage. If you do a lot of activity that heats your battery up (games, navigation, etc.) Then even a shelf stored battery will help since heat is another Li-ion killer.
My S3 was 2 years old in May of this year. I have been having issues with the battery and charging. My USB charging port has the classic loose connection issue as does the headphone jack. I see the fix and YouTube videos to repair but have not yet done that. I last week got my new OEM Samsung battery and the external charging kit. I just upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 NDA8 despite being eligible for a new phone discount from Sprint. My S3 is a 32gb unit and I will not buy a S5 with only 16gb, no way no how.
The new battery is performing very well. It is so close on updating to 4.4.2 that I can not be certain that there were not issues with my rooted 4.1.2 build after so many months. For sure the new battery is lasting longer. I think it was worth the $42.03 spent on the charger and battery as my USB port is in question and I can always swap batteries and charge with the external charger.
My S3 has a new lease on life and I can wait for new tech before upgrading. xda developers forum - root - and the desire for liberty is a powerful combination.
why not try using wireless charging? the qi reciever + charger should not cost you mote than 35 bucks. and you can still use your current battery, battery cover, & nfc, unlike powermat.

A 2 year battery will definitely be worn-out. Depending on the charging cycle count, could be only a 20%,but maybe a 50 or 70%.

I honestly don't know. One time it got down to 20% after about close of two and a half days of use and I plugged it in before I went to bed and in the morning it's at 100% (around 7 hours of sleep).
The first day I got it I plugged it in and charged it for about 8 hours even though it has 80% charge out the box just to make sure.

Thanks for the reply. Still looks like a cool battery case. As for not having NFC ability i'd guess( may be wrong) is probably not a factor to most people.

Yeah, I don't use Android pay so I can't say that nfc is that important to me.

So i don't have this exact item, i have the Zerolemon battery/case, pretty much the same looking case.
I bought a triple pack of these (when the triple pack was available) just so I had room for error.

The trick isn't getting it on the case, it's getting it on the phone, then actually using it. I got it prety much in a spot now where i can have google pay work 80-90% of the time, otherwise the card terminal thinks I'm placing multiple cards on the reader. I have to generally tilt the phone sideways a bit and hold it at an angle for it to detect properly @ Walgreens.

Thanks for contributing, I'm going to order it and see if I can make it work
I got the LG V20 Battery Perfine 6400mAh and am pretty happy with it - have had it for some time now. It was like the feel of having a whole new mobile when I put it on. 6400mAh has been enough for me for a whole day and I don't remember that iv had any day that it could not go through a day of work as of yet. Maybe I need to do some harder use on it but overall it seems I don't need something with more juice then this.

Hello.
How much SoT are you getting?

Bought it from amazon and been using it for a week, phenomenal battery life, no excessive heat and the case that comes with it is quite good and rugged.
Ask me any questions if you have any.

Does it fit inside the official LG battery charger kit BCK-5200? Door would be open of course, but at least if it could be charged outside of the phone?

I honestly don't know. One time it got down to 20% after about close of two and a half days of use and I plugged it in before I went to bed and in the morning it's at 100% (around 7 hours of sleep).
The first day I got it I plugged it in and charged it for about 8 hours even though it has 80% charge out the box just to make sure.

So you only plugged it in? You didn't drain it 3 times like it usually says? Any issues as far as charging and keeping the charge?
Got mine on Saturday it was at 62%. Charged for 9 hours straight . Here's Gsam battery stats so far

This same battery the OP mentioned
Perfine V20 10500 mAh.... Im not sure if it's really 10500 though. Maybe just 10000 mAh
Let it get to about 10%. Here's the stats,
9+ hours of screen in time, haven't charged in 2 days.
This is a great battery.
Thanks to the OP for pointing it out on here
Does the back of the phone heat a lot when charging or during heavy usage/browsing/gaming for the 10500mah/6400mah?
