ANY-Kernel
THIS KERNEL WILL NOT WORK ON ANY ROMS THAT USE F2FS FOR THEIR PARTITION!
NO SUPPORT FOR F2FS
don't use on Android 4.4.4 Roms by Novafusion!
Hey together!
Some of you meight use my kernel already on different roms.
This kernel will work on any Android 4.4.4 Custom Rom.
The Kernel has been tested and confirmed working on:
VanirAOSP
OmniRom by golden-guy
SlimKat by Android-Andi (me)
I haven't tested it on Android 4.3 or Stock, so make sure you have a Backup of your Rom if you try to use my kernel there.
Features
3.0.31 Stable Kernel and 3.0.44 "Beta" Kernel available - choose the one you like
includes latest"GT-I8190_JB_Opensource_Update2" and
3.0.44 "Beta" Kernel also "GT-I8190L_LA_JB_Opensource" changes
BLN Support
Nice looking AROMA Installer (screenshots later):
the installer will only replace the zImage of your current flashed boot.img
and still use the ramdisk wich comes with the original boot.img
- that's why it works on every Android 4.4.4 Rom
compiled using GCC 4.7 for better compatibility
.... more will be listed later
Things i will NOT add to my kernel:
f2fs support
Things to come up next..
What is missing?

Sakurative
I also prefer Sakurative, so good to have it now included in ANY- Kernel.
For Scheduler I'm not sure to go with Deadline, Noob or Sio......
@Android-Andi: Thanks for your work, !
WiFi hotspot
@Android-Andi,
your suggestion to wipe system & reinstall ROM and gapps didn't solve that issue but reflashing vanir`s kernel, which is nova-fusion+ 3.0.101 did...
Since the last omni came with your kernel too, I think the reason for that WFi hotspot issue might be somewhere there...

@meduza2 you can try v1.6, stable kernel. it is still 3.0.31, not sure if it could be related to the upstream changes
I use CM11 by NovaFusion but not f2fs use .. So I can install this kernel?

Wifi Tethering
I tested this morning Wifi Tethering (Hotspot) with ANY-Kernel V1.6 (Beta-Kernel) and Slimkat.
Works fine and without Problems!

This kernel looks really good. I'm curious, if somebody tested it on stock rom (Android 4.1.2).

Donning a new name in favour of the new delicious version of Android... Welcome to the ThunderKat Project!!
Heavily based of my Flaming Monkey kernel configurations and the stock AOSP kernel source, here's my standalone kernel for the Nexus 10. I will maintain this independently.
It will always remain close to the AOSP exynos kernel for manta (Nexus 10) with a few useful tweaks and additions, but will not have any OC/UV, colour controls and any advanced customisation options. It is a stable kernel and will not have frequent updates.
This kernel uses the AnyKernel method and is ROM independent. I have tested this on 4.4 (Stock & AOSP) based ROMs.
Features:
1. Linux Kernel 3.4.39.
2. Based on AOSP KitKat MR1 kernel source for exynos/manta.
3. Built using the Google ARM GCC 4.8 toolchain with -O3 CFLAGS & AFLAGS optimisations & ARM Cortex A15 build optimisations.
4. Enabled Conservative & Powersave CPU frequency governors (in addition to Interactive, Performance & Userspace). Interactive set as default.
5. Preserve correct sysfs permissions on governor change.
6. KSM (Kernel Samepage Merging) support.
7. NTFS, F2FS, EXT4 xattr (extended attributes) support.
8. Networked file systems support (NFS V3, NFS V4 & CIFS).
9. HIDRAW support (supports non-conformant HID devices).
10. Support for more input devices (keyboards, mice & joysticks) including Logitech Unifying devices.
11. Support for USB serial modems (PPPOE).
12. Support for multi-card readers (multi-lun devices). This allows you to mount multiple cards using a multi-card reader. May need an app like StickMount. (Credit @nvertigo67)
13. Removed SWAP support.
14. Removed some un-needed debugging.
15. Increased thermal throttle limits
16. Scalable CPU frequencies
Changelog [2014/08/24]:
1. Built using Graphite optimized GCC4.8 toolchain
2. Added ROW & SIO I/O schedulers
3. Set ROW as default I/O scheduler
4. Upstream F2FS changes
5. Miscellaneous I/O improvements
Changelog [2014/06/05]:
1. Update to AOSP 4.4.3 kernel source (kitkat-mr2)
2. Added F2FS filesystem support
Changelog [2013/12/15]:
1. Update to AOSP 4.4.1/4.4.2 kernel source (kitkat-mr1)
Changelog [2013/11/21]:
1. Initial release
Information:
1. Flash using a custom recovery (TWRP/CWM).
2. This kernel is ROM independent and uses the AnyKernel method. Hence it uses the current ramdisk. You may have issues if this is flashed after a kernel with a custom ramdisk. If so, reflash your ROM and then flash this kernel.
3. Needs an unlocked bootloader.
4. Make sure you have at least 50% battery charge before flashing this.

Very cool! I will be trying this tomorrow, will have time to play with it. Nice to see KSM in it.
Nicely done. I'm running your kernel as we speak--snappy, snappy! No issues so far. :good:
Only thing left to do now is give it a catchy name like: "The CRAIGINATOR"
Wow, great news, thanks craig!

Thanks...and yes, I will be renaming my ROM and kernel to something more... well, appealing... when I restart the ROM project...

Great job, runs great! Only issue is it defaults to cfq scheduler on boot even when I have it set to run deadline.
More of a preference than an issue.
This kernel is really good, I was very impressed by your previous Rom and look forward to the new Rom you said will be released later in the year (hopefully!). Your hard work is much appreciated. Using your kernel with Carbon Rom right now and it seems very stable.

this kernel works best on my N10. no reboot, no SOD and no battery drain.
my tablet is 10 days up without a single problem or recharge! :good:
i hope it will be continued in the future!
Yes, I will continue supporting this kernel... though there will not be many updates... the aim to to remain close to AOSP, yet provide some useful tweaks and additions... I will be building a newer version soon (having problems with the cross compiler on my work laptop, else I would have done it today)...
Hi!
Can I flash this kernel to the stock ROM?
And revert back when new android version comes out to OTA update?
Thank you

Updated release in OP...
Does this have the latest wifi and or gpu drivers? I know wifi drivers are kernel level, not sure about the gpu though. Anyways, its a very nice and smooth kernel. It's been a baron wasteland in mantaland. I guess Google didn't sell many of these.
I just installed the kernel, very smooth, I was having shutdowns on Trinity latest and RootBox. Hopefully is not a ROM problem and this kernel fixes it, I really like RootBox.
Thanks for the awesome work and support.

Anyone here with sufficient kernel knowledge to merge the updated mali graphics drivers (http://malideveloper.arm.com/develo...n-source-mali-t6xx-gpu-kernel-device-drivers/)... There are a few updates that are beyond my kernel & C/C++ capabilities... like osk has been replaced by kbase... Please PM me if you can help!! Thanks!
Great work on this kernel! First time reaching 9 hours on screen time. Paired with Mr Robinson AOKP.

About experimental F93 AOSP Kernel[Abandoned]
F93 AOSP (MAKO) kernel for UNOFFICIAL ROMs based on Chadouming, houst0nn & other great guys work. This kernel based on Ronasimi GEEB kernel (https://github.com/ronasimi) with some additions from me.
Features:
- Working camera autofocus (no need to restart stupid mm-qcamera-daemon each time)
- KEXEC Hardboot enabled so Multirom is working (get it here)
- Radio-Iris enabled (FM Radio)
- Intelli-Thermal added (thx faux123)
- Intellidemand cpu governer updated (thx faux123)
- FastCharge reimlpemented (thx faux123)
- Sweep2Wake & DoubleTouch2Wake (thx showp1984)
- GPU voltage control (thx Tk-Glitch)
- Dynamic management of dirty page writebacks (thx Christopher83)
For GPU voltage control & Dynamic management of dirty page writebacks see the 99kerneltweak file in /system/etc/init.d/ folder
Volume Keys trick:
Inverted volume keys on some devices can be fixed this way:
echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/misc/vol_keys/vk_invert
or
echo 0 > /sys/devices/virtual/misc/vol_keys/vk_invert
to revert it back
You can insert this string into /etc/init.d/99kerneltweaks and it will be applied each time device boots.
Use RootBrowser to find the /etc/init.d/99kerneltweaks file and edit it using RB Editor.
Add in the line echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/misc/vol_keys/vk_invert and save.

Multirom v22 for E975
MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod made by @Tasssadar for Nexus 7 and ported to e975.
It can boot almost any Android ROM. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot.
ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery.
To work properly your primary ROM's kernel must be kexec-hardboot enabled! F93 AOSP kernel has this feature enabled. It will not work on GPROJ kernel based ROMs as primary, sorry..
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM

After I had finally managed to flash the ROM with the linked multi ROM recovery (by the way: does the included kernel support multirom, would be awesome?) I wanted to give some feedback.
This ROM is the most complete android 4.4 ROM for e975. It can be considered as a daily driver.
The autofocus is working, performance is good, battery is good and there are no big bugs.
The bugs I have noted:
- stock cam only uses 8mp, other cams have 13
-can't connect via Bluetooth to my car
- gaming performance not as good as on omni/cm10.2 (epic citadel says 45fps compared to 55fps)

did it applicable to stock or F93 kernel?
F93 is downclocked kernel aimed for battery saving so it is possibe some performance loss..
Introduction
The idea for creating this kernel came up around a year ago, during early LP custom ROM builds. I thought it would be a nice idea to fork the most advanced kernel at the time, EvoMix, developed by our renowned Olivier, Joe (SuperHanns) and Alex, and add to it the latest upstream 3.4 patches as well as mix its features with another good kernel, KMA.
After that experiment turned out not so bad, me and fellow xda user BrateloSlava got an idea to continue developing that mixed kernel with our own cherry-picks from the best kernels available for various devices, and use it in my builds of RR and later GZR Tesla ROM.
Now, one year later, I continued the development that BrateloSlava did on the kernel for the last months for my Tesla and Validus ROMs, and I thought it would be a nice idea to extend this kernel's availability to the users of all custom ROMs around at the moment.
So, here is Airless Kernel for Xperia ZL, compatible with all CM/AOSP based Marshmallow ROMs.
Features:
CPU
- Governors: ondemand, interactive, performance, intellimm, yankactive, yankdemand, zzmoove, barry_allen
- Multicore Power Saving - tries to group tasks into the least cores possible
- Schedule workqueues on awake CPUs
- CPU Frequency underclock (192 MHz) and overclock (1.7 GHz) capability
- Voltage regulation
Thermal management
- Simplified and efficient thermal driver
- Flexible ramp threshold temperature
GPU
- Governors: simple, ondemand, performance
- 27 MHz idle frequency for ideal power saving
- Overclocked to 487 MHz
Sound
- Faux Sound Control allowing amplified speaker, headphones and microphones volume
Misc
- RGB subtractive color control
- I/O Schedulers: sioplus, bfq, fiops, zen, row, deadline, noop
- Dynamic FSYNC
- Kernel Samepage Merging
- ARM Auto Hotplug (mpdecision replacement) - no tunables
- Gentle Fair Sleepers
- PM: Power Suspend as a replacement to Early Suspend
- TCP congestion protocols: westwood, highspeed, cubic, reno
- Disabling of some well known wakelocks (e.g. msm_hsic_host)
- Double Tap to Wake
- Fast Charge
- Vibration Strength control
- Compiled with latest UBER 5.x GCC toolchain
- Latest upstream patches: 3.4.112
- Many build flag optimizations (graphite, Ofast)
Download
Latest version (20160901)
Installation:
- Make sure you're running a CM or AOSP-based Marshmallow ROM (Resurrection Remix, AOKP, etc..)
- Flash the zip in TWRP 3.0 (tested, recommended) or other compatible recovery
- Reboot

yes the only problem would be that wifi won't work if the ROM has no kernel modules. I can make a version with modules built-in if someone encounters that.
Try this kernel on official CM13. Wi-fi not work. Try version from 29.08 (DU topic) - wi-fi work, but no deep sleep (wi-fi always active).
@airlessproject hi , and we get an update?

Hi. I ve read some interesting words from PDesire. ( He making sound mod for xperia devices (Project Meli)) He sais that WCD9310 (XZ audio chip) is now capable to play 24bits 192Khz audio through kernel and devs can freely use his source code. That would be great to add this feature to this kernel. His code on github. Here is link : https://github.com/PDesire/PDesireAudio Dont know if it work for XZ users but still have hope)
Good afternoon, whether core modifications available for Android 7.0? for http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-zl/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-0-xperia-zl-t3464027

Warning
By trying RamKernel you accept full responsibility for your actions. I am not responsible if your device stops working, catches on fire, or turns into a hipster and claims to have been modified before it was cool.
Before posting anything read this
RamKernel for N910G/F/T/P/V/W8/N9100 & N915G/F/FY/D.
For G901F WiFi is not working, I am working on getting it working with same source. Same kernel can be used for all types of ports and stock ROMs.
There are two types of builds made right now permissive and enforcing, the enforcing build is made to use it for passing safety net or for some specific reasons, people who don't have any specific requirement should use permissive build only.
Kernel Special Features:
1. Latest kernel source used N910FXXS1DQG6
2. Same Kernel for Note 7/S7 port ROM & Stock ROM
3. UberTC
4. Kernel updated to linux 3.10.95
5. Kcal colour calibration feature added
6. Enable last_kmsg for kernel debugging
7. Patched for dirty COW vulnerability
8. Added KSM
9. Initd support
10. Fixes for F2FS
11. LED control
12. msm_hsic_host wake lock reduction fix
13. Control for msm_hsic_host wake lock
14. Support for KernelAdiutor (Thanks to @Pafcholini)
15. CPU Hotplug

Thanks, you & @ShinySide are my real guru (teacher) and inspiration for this.
@Ram121 i am glad to see a new kernel for our super smooth Ramrom.
Mate. Can you please elaborate the difference between using the stock kernel which came with the rom and ramrom kernel for stock roms. Using V5 for G variant.
