Battery life - Clash of Clans - T-Mobile LG G3

Seems like my battery wont last more than 2 to 3 hours playing this game. This normal? What is the average screen on time with heavy Chash of Clans usage on a full charge?

Seems about right. Battery on this phone is terrible for me when playing games.

Weather playing games or not, the battery drains pretty fast when I use it. I can make it last all day, but I have to try.

I had a G2 and Note 3, and both batteries were slaughtered by playing Clash of Clans. Clash kills my current G3 as well. I believe Greenifying it helps, but I can't recall for sure. If you're playing Clash for most of those three hours, I imagine that's normal battery life.

Totally normal, I've never, ever gotten more than 3 hours max on any device playing Clash of Clans. It destroys battery.

CoC (and any game that requires a constant connection) will destroy your battery life. Completely normal.

[Q]Heating issues?

I been having the phone for a week and it heats up a little after 5 minutes of usage, no heavy apps running whatsoever

I found that putting the power savings mode on in the settings helps a lot. Regardless, my phone will still heat up, I usually find that it does when I use the GPS heavily or stream online radio for an extended period of time.

Battery stats verdict: normal or above average?

Below is my device on 007faux kernel and CleanRom. You judge whether it's normal or not. Note that the screen display is 5hrs but was only idle for 2‰ of its duration

That seems pretty low to me, but maybe I'm missing something? I regularly get 2-3 days with 6-8 hours screen on.

Screen brightness?
You can get 3 or 4 hours difference between 5% brightness and 100%
Did you play a lot of games?
It can makes a difference.
For example if I don't play games and just read some rss feeds and Web browsing with a low brightness I can get 9 hours screen time vs 4 or 5 hours if I play a lot of games and higher brightness.
My average time is 7 hours

Doe anyone else notice nova launcher drains the battery quicker?

On my Samsung note 2014 and htc one whenever I have nova as my default launcher my battery always seems to drop faster, anyone else notice this?

no, I've switched a long time ago bc go launcher used to drain my battery. I get about 1% in standby per 12 hrs.
I'm on about on screen time, I see it drains 1 percent every couple minutes

What's expected battery life per day

I've been getting about 6 hours out of my LG but recently I've been getting about two {using only social apps bit of you tube etc. } how do you know what is draining battery phone is also heating up a good bit

It's mostly likely a wakelock. One of your apps maybe causing your phone to stay awake. Many apps on the play store just search the word.
Don't know if LG has it but you can also enable developer mode and check process stats to see which apps are running but less detailed than above
