Tv remote not working on other TV

My TV remote just work for my samsung TV. It doesnt work for other TV like sony Toshiba. Even though I use as universal remote.
Do we need to setup somthing.

If you would've read the tutorial the app was Givin you it clearly said it ONLY let's you use it as a TV remote control ON YOUR SAMSUNG TV

This is a true statement. Im using touchsquid pro. Ive been messing with the Tv's in the security office. HAHA. Sony and view sonic

So far, I tested in my home.. Works with a Samsung, Sharp, and a Sony.

Ok my bad I didnt read manuel now how to make it work ???

the app worked on my Sharp but didint work on the living rooms Westinghouse not sure why tho

Can someone point me to instructions on setting up the IR remote? I cannot for the life of me find it in the menu. I also downloaded the user manual from Tmobile.....no mention of the IR there either.
What Tutorial are you guys talking about?
I picked up my new S4 yesterday.....lovin' it so far!:good:

Mine worked with my Sanyo tv in my room, all the sharp tvs at work, and my 10 year old sony tv. Make sure you are standing close to the tv when setting it up and try each code multiple times. On all tvs it worked with the first code but I had to try it a few times

Thanks! I have to get to the first step 1st LOL. Where is the IR set-up?
Edit- I found it. It is the WatchOn App.

There was an app called Smart Remote for Galaxy S4 (or something like that) that got pulled from the Play Store a little while ago, but it was far and away the best IR app. It looked great and had support for almost any type of device you could think of. Assuming it comes back at some point I'd highly recommend it.

Watchon might be able to do it if you have a motorola set top box. Choose MOTOROLA from the set top box device selection menu instead of Verizon FIOS. Worked for me.
However, Watchon's utility is limited as I have not yet found a way to fully customize WatchOn for all the special set top box commands (guide, dvr, skip fwd, skip back, etc.)

Sprint Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Screen Mirroring

Has anyone found a work around to get screen mirroring on the Tab 3 7.0? I have the Sprint version which sports the 1.7Ghz processor, which is faster than the 8.0 and Wifi-direct. Don't understand why they left screen mirror out. I do have multi-window, which I was told by a Samsung trainer isn't on the 7.0 Wifi version. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

I second this request! Anybody have any luck with this?

Same thing here. I just tried the MHL to HDMI cable with no luck at all. Today I'll try a Miracast dongle to see if anything happens. It's hard to think why this feature is not included in the device; although I reckon it should be included in the next android update.

this is actually really frustrating. I popped it on the dock to stream some netflix and then was forced to use my phone which kinda killed me using my phone the whole time. Was a bit peeved. I'm stuck with this for two years, and I can't even use it to stream. What's the point of paying for this tablet if I have to resort to using my phone?

i´ve just bougth one ezcast dongle which looks like a clone of google chromecast, will see how it works, but the lack of screen mirroring in stock android 4.1.2 or better said, the effort of Samsung updating this tablet is a real shame.
lets hope in a time will be some cyanogenmod rom with kitkat running with all of the features it has.

The tablet is slated for Kitkat. It's just a question of when...

yesterday i made upgrade to official KK but i dont see the option screen mirror ... there is any MOD for this?
i found the option with one app in play store, named widi (miracast) helper... but it dont find anything... i think the option is hidden by samsung....

Nope. My tab 7 collects dust now. Waste of $50 and a data line. I use my phone and the dock.

Allshare Cast Dongle keeps disconnecting

hi guys, i've been looking everywhere for a fix. please help. i just purchased the allshare cast dongle for my note 2 so i can mirror movies and such to my vizio tv. i plugged in the hdmi cable from my dongle to my samsung bluray player. it would connect for a while, but after 15 seconds, it will say "current allshare cast connection will end." then the allshare settings on my phone will turn off. i have tried triangle away and reset the flash counter. it shows "0" but it still wont work. i'm running jedi x20 right now. can someone help? i'm still looking for ways on how to fix this issue but no luck so far. i dont know what else to do. if there is someone out there who has the same phone and the dongle, can you please help me and maybe tell me a working rom so i can try it out. i appreciate the help. thank you.

[Q] screen mirroring on T211?

HI
I read in stock rom kitkat 4.4.2 T211 that a person said we can use screenmirroring on T211 Kitkat but there isn't allcastshare in more in setting!!
How can I mirror my screen to a TV? Is it possible?

Hi, i think no. But why? I dont know..
I try it also with no luck... Hope anyone can say something about this...
