Weak Signal after flashing modems and a bunch of roms. - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm getting really weak LTE and wifi signals.
I can't even use the mobile internet anymore.
When I go to status, it sometimes says Signal Strength is 0 dBm 99 asu. Other times it's -102 or -105db and 38asu.
I don't know the exact numbers, but on stock firmware, I used to get around 4 bars, but now I only get 0 or 1 on stock firmware.
I made a lot of mistakes trying to install Cyanogen mod. I originally started with 4.4.2 after installing it OTA. I was getting errors trying to flash Cyanogen mod and people were saying it had to do with an out of date bootloader. I kinda messed up in differentiating between the a bootloader and a modem and flashed an earlier modem which made my IMEI null and had no signal. I fixed this by flashing this 4.4.2 modem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53627484
Now here's the problem. I didn't check to see if the signal was weak after flashing that. I flashed SlimKat, didn't like it, and then flashed aokp. This is when I finally noticed the signal was weak. I don't know if it started when I flashed aokp, but i doubt it did. I eventually flashed back to 4.4.2 using I747UCUFNE4 Stock Rooted Odex, and it still had a weak signal.
I then tried Cyanogen mod again and it flashed this time, but the signal was still weak. I then looked at the Android Version and it says 4.4.4 and the baseband version is I747UCUFNE4. Is this the problem? Because from what I'm reading, the baseband is meant for 4.4.2. I'm thinking that when I installed Slimkat, it upgraded my device to 4.4.4? But I don't know. Can anyone help me, please?

Okay, I have an update.
I tried using 3G and I'm getting great reception. Full bars and between -91 and -95db.
It seems there's issues when LTE is active.
Wifi is still terrible regardless.
edit:
Seems that when I call and talk when LTE is active, the reception shoots up. Text messages send and receive instantly.
The only problem is the slow LTE and poor wifi.

No idea if this will work for you, but it should be safe to try it.
In the T-Mobile Q&A forums sticky roll up thread is a link to a GPS fix (NV Rebuild). Follow the instructions there. It us primarily to solve GPS issues but I have seen it help with other problems similar to yours. It doesn't always help, but its certainly worth a shot.
Ill post a link to it in a few.

Signal or RIL for the GS3?

Had AOKP and CM10 installed and each time I have to revert back to Stock or Kyan due to signal issues. Here is the situation, with any of the rom's build off the ucalem baseband that i have installed, I am always getting A LOT of loss of signal under Settings>battery>cell standby, But , when I have a stock or Kyan installed, there is no problem. I know from the nexus that this kind of stuff has to do with the RIL but yet I have not see anything here regarding this nor anyone else complain about the same thing. I am using bell SG3 with MVLLE8. Could the GB rom be reporting signal when in fact there is non, because a couple of times I have noticed that I had no signal but yet on the phone it was showing 2-3 bars then nothing. But using JB It just shows no signal and loads of time without signal. Would love ti get this figured out to be able to run AOPK or Cynaogen. I would flash the baseband, but I do not want any IMEI problems and also I have read that the ATT baseband does not support Dual Cell LTE here in Canada.

Internet not working.

For the past week and a half, I've had internet issues when I'm on 3g. It works fine on wifi. I've switched between ROMs, kernels, modems, etc. I'm currently on Goodness with the MA6 firmware modem AIO and the anthrax kernel. I've tried updating the profile & prl. I have between 2-4 bars of 3g and yet it still gives me the webpage not available sign. I tried clearing the cache/ fixing the permissions. But the internet simply won't work. I'm in Maryland, between Baltimore and Frederick. What could the problem be? Maybe the phone itself is defective or Sprint's network died in my area?
I'd see if they're doing work i that area. I know in areas of Baltimore 4G is there, I believe. You could try using build prop tweaks ect for signal if you wanted.

Misery loves company.
The 2nd post is a thread I started regarding the same problem. The first post is to a thread I thought could help me. I tried some things mentioned in there but none of them worked. Then someone posted in the thread who is having the same problem.
Here's what I've been running into and what I tried. I am on FreeGS3, Anthrax kernel, and recently updated to MA6 when I started having problems. I use a battery saver so my internet connection turns off when my screen is off. I started noticing a week or so ago that when I woke up my phone, the 3g icon would appear but only the up arrow flashed. The download arrow wasn't doing anything. I would toggle it off and on and eventually get it to work. I'm in the Raleigh-Durham area and we are just starting to get LTE. My 4G works whenever I go through 4G areas and my wifi works. I have restored a working backup, wiped my phone, flashed back to stock unrooted, called Sprint (they refreshed my signal and had me do an OTA activation), manually changed my PRL, upgraded to MA6, updated profile (when I could get it work).........and I think that about sums it up. The one thing I've noticed is my phone works flawlessly when the network mode is set to CDMA. At this point I'm clueless. I really don't think it's a phone issue because 3g works on CDMA. It's like when the phone is set to CDMA/LTE and it doesn't have an LTE signal, it doesn't know what to do. That up arrow flashes in such a rhythm that it's like the code is stuck in a loop.

Signal Issues Up down up down

Hi, I am canada, with fido/rogers and currently with the lastest 4.2.2 update and my signal is driving me crazy .
I've tried different radios using fastboot , but it is the same issue
it will be 5 bars than 3 than 0 than 1 than 2 etc
It can't hold a steady signal.
i've flashed the phone a few times to try to fix this issue with takju images and nothing
anyone else? is the phone bricked?
I found a rogers nandroid back up on these forums.. not sure if this will do anything
I'm on Bell and I have had a similar problem before. I wouldn't get good signal at all and the data speed was pathetic.
Try flashing the UILH1...it improves the signal a bit.

[Q] No 3G service with Google Edition 4.4 ROMs

I know I'm more likely to find my answer posting in the thread for the ROM that I'm using but as a new user apparently I can't post in that forum at all. I know the issue I'm having is common with GE 4.4 ROMs, but after having read through threads for more than one of these ROMs, I seem to be the only one having this specific issue.
I'm using the Dandroid 4.4 GE ROM, though I had this same issue with one on the 9505 dev forum too. Even after flashing the updated modem.bin, I'm unable to get 3G service to work at all, at least not for long. I'm not talking about just data either - if I'm in an area with no LTE reception, and anything other than 2G service is selected, I won't get any signal whatsoever. If LTE is available and selected, it'll work, though my signal doesn't seem to be as strong. If I have the phone scan for mobile networks and actually select T-Mobile, 3G service will work briefly, but after only a few minutes it drops out completely and never comes back.
So did I flash the wrong modem or do something incorrectly somewhere along the line? Anyone else having this issue?
Nevermind, I think I solved my own problem. I guess the modem.bin had never flashed correctly, I reflashed it last night, twice, and it seems to have stuck.

[HELP][Q] LTE on latest Cyanogenmod updates

Hi all,
I've been searching this morning on here for issues around Cyanogenmod and LTE, and I've tried following some ideas and help on here, but I'm struggling to get a solution. Cyanogenmod updated itself this morning to CM11. I updated GAPPS and everything is running ok. The issue is that I no longer get LTE connection. I am in an LTE area, on an LTE provider (o2 in the UK).
I deleted my APN's and got O2 to resend the info, and it all looks like it should look (I think) but there's still no LTE.
Is this just an issue with CM11, or is there something more than I can do? Do I need to roll back to CM10 to get LTE? I've read there might be bluetooth issues too.
A lot of whats in this thread seems to be for "Rogers" network in the US, so I'm a bit nervous of doing anything that might screw the phone up anymore than necessary....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1947376&page=5
Is anyone getting LTE working on CM11? Any help would be massively appreciated if you are. Otherwise I guess I'll wait for further updates.
Thanks all.
EDIT:
For the record, I reflashed, reupdated o2 settings, and rebooted and now get LTE signal. Should have tried before posting. My apologies. Please lock/delete thread. TIA
So you're back on cm 10.2? Or does it work now on cm11?
I'm using CM11 nightlies on my GT-I9195 LTE and LTE has always been working fine.
okay that's weird. i got an upgrade from my provider that includes LTE up to 16 mbit/s... but my s4 mini never connects with 4G...
it wasn't a problem because with 3G i reached up to 14 mbit/s...
but so theres the problem with my provider, not with my phone.
