Hi,
I would like to remove the clock and message icons that appear on the task bar at the top of the today screen. When I follow the registry root in the Wiki web page the path is not the same as whats on my XDA Orbit. Any ideas????
Rob.
Hi robquick,
I also want rid of the clock.
I tried this with resco reg editor:
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell/ShowTitleBarClock set to 0
But the clock is still there.
I can't determine what difference it has made.
The reason I would like to be rid of the clock is that it looks very crap indeed with "magic button" in use, plus I also have LVM Time on my today screen.
I think that you can remove them by using either SkTools or Tweaks2k2.
Make sure you have a complete backup of your phone before doing anything
Hi,
I recently purchased SPB Phone suite software which displays an Icon on the desk top if I have a missed call or text message. I no longer need the Orbit to also display missed call/text icons on the task bar. How would I go around removing the additional task bar icons.
Please can someone explain this to me in a "step by step way"........I have had many one line answers however, due to a real lack of knowledge I seem to fall a the first hurdle!!!!!
Please help
Cheers
Rob.
Does anyone know where I can download and install the standard O2 apps that are installed as part of the WM5 customization after a hard reset?
I've just upgraded my Orbit to WM6 and am missing these as they were really useful. I'm not intrested in other apps as I know these O2 ones worked fine and didn't drain the battery etc etc.
The 3 I'm after are,
1) Running Apps for the Today screen
2) Battery Meter
3) Memory usage Meter
4) O2 task manager shortcut Icon
Thanks.
These will be the ones I'm after, all shown on this review just before half way down the page in the screen shots.

Meters allows you to show up to three level meters for Battery, Memory, and Storage card. Each meter can be tapped on to show; a plain bar, the bar with percentage, or bar with Mb free.
Running Apps displays a simple line of icons indicating which programs are currently running in the background, tapping the icon switches to that program.
Shortcuts allows for up to five shortcuts to be configured for launching, tapping on the icon launches the program.
Task Manager - this is activated via the 'O2 bubble' which resides in the bottom bar of the today screen. A single tap on it brings up a brushed metal pop-up which displays the running applications and an options menu. The 'X' next to the listed applications allows each application to be terminated manually when required. Options allows you to select which O2 Custom Today applets are usable on the Today screen, as well as allowing you to define the shortcuts for the Shortcut applet.
They are all in the 'Items' menu of the 'Today' setup in preferences. You need to turn on Meters, Profiles and Shortcuts.
Thanks for the reply and they woudl be if I was still running my O2 ROM and it had run the customization to install them after a hard reset but I've upgraded to BEBE's WM6 ROM which doesn't have any of the O2 utils loaded.
Anyone else on where I can get these? Would anyone with an O2 Orbit ROM be able to pull the customization CAB install files out of their ROM somehow for me?
I just sent you a PM. I can email them to you.

Can you upload these files somewhere?
I just checked the ftp site and they are already there...
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Artemis/Extended_ROMs/O2_Orbit_UK_1.25.206.101_extended_rom.zip
Big thanks to Mark for that and the email. All loaded on and the meters runnings apps and O2 bubble task manager are all there and I'm almost back to where I was on WM5..
However SPB Time fails to wake up the phone from a screen saver locked state with sound, sure it'll flash up the screen with snooze or dismiss red and green buttons but no sound errm kinda makes it useless as an Alarm Clock and as I'm sure all the rest of you out there do I really rely on my phone as an Alarm.. I've been late 2 days in a row now because of this, no joke so.. errm kinda critical for me to get fixed..
Any ideas people. I've even un installed the paid for version I had and installed the latest version (trial) from their site

Hello,
At the risk of sounding stupid, I've just downloaded the zip file for the extended roms. I've unzipped it and gathered from the config file that I should place the cab files in specific locations... My question is, is there a (semi)automatic way of installing it? If not, should I follow the paths found in the config file? Also, there are a few files missing, ie the bmp files, do I need them? Lastly, what about the config.txt the file... where is that to be placed?
Sorry for the barrage of questions Noob here, just want to make sure I understand this the right way!
Thanks for all the help!

PS. 1st post, great site btw!!
Hello
I have a question, advace and maybe a request if this is posible.
So for example in HD Tweak we have simalar option to Show battery Icon in the Manila Dialer Top Bar. When you enabled this the Battery indicator is located in Manila Dialer topbar right.
And when you enable it.. when you call etc.. you are able to see anytime your battery, but this is useless because we can see this battery info in the TASKBAR already.
When you do this tweaks with HD Tweak he do some registry editing... my question is can we do this tweak with the Clock?!?
I know all avalible apps that add a clock to your TASKBAR but im talking we to have clock on the Manila Dialer Top Bar.
In this case we dont need to install any 3rd party application.. and etc also the phone will look like default and when you have a conversation you will be able to see anytime the clock witch is SUPER useful
If with registry edit there can be shown or hide the battery indicator why with registry editing there cant have a Clock?
Im asking do someone thing is posible?
In all Builds that not have a clock in the TASKBAR will be very useful in the dialer to be shown the clock.
Im talking about Manila 2.1 Sense but this can be done for all Sense versions.. etc.

Ohh men i told you i know all avalible applications for this Batt clock also have some apps like Batti that show a line with your battery status and in this case you can remove the battery from the taskbar and put there the default clock from settings, system, data and time and show clock etc..
The best program for now witch use litle ram is BattLineSvc V2.1 witch is really good.
I was speaking can we do some reg tweak without to install ANY APPICATION to have Clock in the MANILA DIALER TOP BAR clock to be able to see the time when you making a call NOT in the TASKBAR.
About BattClock I USE every version in the last one year and i know very well how this app work.
Thanks
I always recommend Wisbar Advance for everything taskbar-related unfortunately, it's not free.

I have Wisbar i think nobody understand me!!!
I dont speak about ANY TASKBARS here..
I speak about Tweak/Hack Reg edit whatever the Manila Dialer when you recive call or make call to have a Clock without to install any other Apps for this.
And the Clock is on the TOP RIGHT CORNER of the Manila Dialer im not talking about the TASKBAR
maybe I'm really stupid, but where is the clock supposed to be? there is no space for it in the dialer as there is already the backspace button...

Install HD tweak then enable the Battery to show in the dialer and will see where is supposed to be, have enought space in the gray manila dialer top bar.
You have backspace button right? But when you call or recive call the Backspace button is clear.
You have this Button enabled Only when you dial the numbers..
Also depends from the Dialers, on some dialers the backspace button is on the bottom right on the place for conference call, some dialers not have conference call option and there is the backspabe button and the space on the top is free etc.. have alot of options.
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but have been using zooper (free, but soon pro) for a few months. I'm trying to create a graph to display min, max temp forecast for the next few days and want to dynamically set the lower/upper limit to the lowest/highest temperature (-/+ 1). What I have so far is:
$(max(#WCMAXN#;#W0MAXN#;#W1MAXN#;#W2MAXN#;#W3MAXN#;#W4MAXN#;#W5MAXN#;#W6MAXN#;#W7MAXN#;#W8MAXN#;#W9MAXN#)+1)$
This works great when I use it in text, but in the process bar when pressing OK and returning to edit it gets cut off after the ; which results in a NAN.
I've tried searching the forum and Google but could not find anything about this. Is it a known problem or am I doing something obvious wrong.
Thanks in advance.
