So anyone gets this? I've got the m8 ul running 1.56.720.6 stock rooted, with elementalx.
So it's installed And not compatible
I guess the latest one is meant for 4.4.3
Installed fine for me on both custom 2.12.401.3 and 2.22.1540.3 based ROMs
Oh, ok anyways, I extracted the apk from /system/priv-app from ARHD 8.1 and installed it, and looks like it worked.
It installed for me on ARHD 8.1 with 1.54 firmware. I have this issue with HTC World Clocl though showing device incompatibility

Yeah, the clock is incompatible for me too

I previously installed MaximusHD, hit bootloop and had to revert the firmware then update to the newest available. That worked and the MaxHD ROM booted right up, but sadly that OS wasn't for Verizon phones. So I am trying to install the Viper ROM and am hitting bootloop and figured I'd give that trick a shot again. The problem I am running into is now after reverting to an older firmware it shows TWO firmwares on the phone simultaneously.
Has anyone ran into this?
Thanks in advanced.
You can see the Firmware in RED in the picture...if you can't see it right click the img and open in new web page

You are with the Stock ROM your bootloader is locked and it is S-OFF. You are not with developer rom just check for update you are with old software
Hi m8s, I sent a HTC One m8 dev edition to Mexico and the person is unable to get the update to 4.4.3; when he checks for an update on setting-about software always says that the phone is up to date.
The software is 4.4.2.
Anyone got a link for the OTA or even better for an RUU to update to version 4.4.3?
Thanks
Well maybe the ota is not pushed yet
Give it some time....we are not getting it all at once.
And no there is no ruu. And if you want to do something with the ota file you need to be more specific on what main version the phone is running.
The phone is running the version 1.54.1540.9 right now.
I was asking for the OTA file to update the device via the stock recovery.
Thanks.

please note that my device is S-OFF
So what's the issue ?
Just put the stock recovery and do the update.
You will not lose S-Off

first where can i found the stock recovery ?
second since this will not make me lose S-OFF will it wipe my data ?
third i do need to root the phone again right ?
finally is this update worth updating to ?
I had my AT&T HTC One M8 on the Google Play Edition RUU for a while and decided to switch back to Sense using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733523
However, I can't figure out how to get a new operating system back on there. I flashed some firmware and after a few issues with the phone not going into custom recovery mode (solved by using a different firmware version), I got TWRP to work. I still can't get an actual OS on there, though.
Trying to boot the phone to system just opens recovery and I would normally try to install a ROM via TWRP but any time I try to put files on the phone, I get an error like this:

"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'm clearly not an expert with this stuff. I just want to get my phone back to the way it was when I got it. Anyone have any ideas?
