Im using the CM),3rd release made by Arco,and im pleased with this rom.I installed lots of games on the sd card,like cut the rope,and others and they work fine.but when im doing the swarp memory,and install those games on the external card,readed as a sd card,they wont start,and they crash going out.How come,on the sd card they work,and on the external card,swarped as the internal sd memory,they wont start?Thanks for the answers.
What is the error? Is the game start then close?
If it doesnt start , I think you should move the data of the game to external SD .. Or try to reinstall it again from google Play.

Yes, some apps require additional data for them to work, some games could redownload these data files but others just FC or won't even open. You could just copy your android folder and place it on your current sdcard(external_sd)

hi guys ..i m just sharing what i found on internet..
its very simple[NOTE : root is needed]
download gl to sd app from playstore ,,.link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slf.ListglApp
download any game u want
then open gl to sd app,,. in that open option and select move data...and move data of ur game in that list.....[NOTEnly game data ...not game app,u can see game data in down of list]
then wait for converstion..then on gl to sd app's main page click the chain icon and it is for mount ,..then u can play any game..\

in root checker says rooted but not fixed
i just install gta vice city then my internal storage is full
Yesterday there was a guide released that shows how to swap internal memory with SD. Try it. Works for me. It's in the XPERIA M forum.

Link2SD works perfectly fine on my phone. Rooted with Super SU, Bootloader locked! However you should note that, since the Firmware we are using is stock firmware, it might not have support for EXT2, 3, 4 filesystems as the second parititon of the SD Card, I already tried, so you're going to have to format the second parititon of your SD card using FAT32,using minitool home parititon wizard, then use LINK2SD, it should work perfect. But even then, you can move the App, Dex files and Lib files, which work fine for apps, but the games have an additional SD data or OBB files, which cant be moved to SD card. Meaning to perfectly play games on our Xperia M, you need to have a combination of Link2SD and GL to SD apps, GL to SD helps link./ mount the games on SD card and bind them to the apps, and make them appear as if they were on the internal SD.

my phone is no problem to executed gl to sd but
when i go to the gl to sd and press the mount icon then after the 5 seconds rebooted !!

Download link2sd and install the app,
Then, connect your memory card via a card reader.
Download Mini Tool Home Partition Wizard(Google it)
open the Mini Tool and select your memory card,
Assuming you backed up the data on your memory card,
Format the drive for best results, and create a new parition, File type FAT32. Type: PRIMARY!! Set the file size...
Leave whatever amount of space you want for the Apps partition.
Then create another partition on the SD card.
It will say that the second partition will not be viewable on Windows, Click OK.
Then change partition type to FAT32... Size is your wish. And Type: Primary!!
Then save changes, Now you should have two partitions on your SD card,
Both are FAT32 and both are PRIMARY!!! -This is necessary.
Then put back the Mem card in the phone,
Open LINK2SD, select second partition as FAT32, reboot the phone, and
You should be able to now expand the memory of your phone... Transfer apps to Memory card!

if you want space specifically so that you can play/install more then 1 hd games, then use gl to sd...it will move ur game data from phone to memory card and all you have to do is open gl sd app and Mount game and play...... that way you can have as many games you want.. i have fifa14 mc4 and asphalt 8 @ same time.. thanks to this app ..

swapping method only works in JB 4.1.2 not in 4.4(CM11) or OFFCIAL JB 4.2.2 as the workaround is that you can download GL2SD which actually mounts the particular folder for you to play the game with data on external SD card...but remember before installing any game you have to have to place data FIRST in internal sd card then TRANSFER the data through and only through the APP(gl2sd) and game will work fine..

there are two option...
use sd swap..no need of foldermount
if u want foldermount...create a folder[just empty folder no need to paste .obb] with exact name as in game obb folder in internal [sdcard0/android/obb]...then refresh foldermount and u can create link with that..

Can you tell little "tutorial" of second option ? im new of foldermount, i had swaped memory on 4.1.2 but now on 4.3 i all time got bootlop thanks
So after so much efforts i could hardly free 1.60gb on my internal memory but still the game's data file is of 2 gb....I have already read about foldermount app but according to it, that app is used to move data file from internal to sd cars and then game can be played, but in my case i dont even have sufficient space to use flodermount...so is there any other way to do this....i have already rooted my phone..

Same Problem here , I am using HTC Desire 816G and about 3 GB in internal left.
I am unable to install any game.

Hey, i have got a solution,root your phone,install xposed framework and download 2 modules in that- one is savetoexternal and the other one is obbtosd ..this solved my problem regarding playing games through sd card...
Now all my games are able to detect the data file from sd card and not through internal storage..?
