I'm going overseas to Europe very soon and I recently just received an unlock code from att for my galaxy s3 (stock 4.3). However, will att carrier unlock codes work on a rooted device?

Hi everyone, it's Friday and I want to start the weekend off by upgrading my Note 2 (well currently my mom's )! The phone is still on 4.1 I believe, but it is rooted and sim unlocked and currently having the AWS band unlocked as well. It is being used with t-mobile the stock deoxed t-mobile rom that I got from the forum. I want to ask, how can I upgrade to the latest KitKat 4.4.2 while keeping my bootloader unlocked as is, be able to use a t-mobile rom that is compatible with the at&t note 2 (eventhough there's no real differences between at&t and t-mobile's version since I have the AWS band unlocked), and having the wi-fi calling feature of the t-mobile services? Also I want to be on the latest modem and kernel of the kitkat so that way it can work for both t-mobile or at&t if I decide to go back to AT&T. The LTE needs to be working for at&t as well, as t-mobile on a refarmed area.
Thank you so much for your help everyone as I am completely stumped on what to use!
Hi. I just purchased a att i337 from ebay last week and it came with android 4.4 so it has a locked bootloader so I can't install CM 11 or CWM. I'm thinking about returning it or selling it and buying the M919.
does the M919 have a locked bootloader on any android version? I believe the i337 was unlocked till 4.3
Can I install CM 11? are there any issues I should know about?
does the tmobile version work on att 3g and 4g? FYI: I'll be using airvoice, which is a att mvno.
are there any other versions I should look at on ebay besides the M919? they would have to work on att 3g and 4g. I'm in the USA.
thanks.
I have a newly acquired Note 4 running Android 4.4.4 acquired in Thailand. The sticker under the battery identifies it as an SM-N910F, as does the ROM.
However, both Samsung Kies and the bootloader identifies it as a SM-N910P, the Sprint version of the Note 4. If I flash a stock Sprint 5.1.1 ROM the phone works fine. But of course, locked to the Sprint network, so useless to me in Thailand.
Could someone advise me on a 5.1.1 ROM to use that is not network locked to Sprint?
Thanks

I just bought an AT&T N910A Note 4 for my wife, I didn't know the AT&T N910A had a locked bootloader. It's currently running DOI9 5.1.1 - and I see no root is possible...?
Is there any reason NOT to upgrade it to the latest MM 6.0.1 firmware?
edit: phone is sim unlocked, being used on T-mobile USA.

I purchased my Galaxy Note 4 off Ebay as there's a seller that refurbs them and it comes with Android 5. But I upgraded it to 6 using Odin and had no problems. Then I did the subsequent updates after because my friend's phone is also a note 4 and that came with Android 6 on it. I purchased both phones from the same seller. No problems at all. Even purchased those wireless chargers.....they're quick to charge them things.
I recently got my 928t in a trade, and i have no intention of using this device on T-mobile, its unlocked and is running its stock 7.0. Im looking for basically an unbranded rom like how you can install one on the S7. i plan on using this device on my at&t service.

My suggestion for you would be to scroll on over to @khongloi113's thread for his S8+ Port for the Note5/Edge+ which works very well on our G928T. His ROM plus CSC/OMC/Kernel has everything you will need CSC wise to run this ROM and use ATT service.
