Running one of the latest CM7 nightlies (#77 I think) on my i9000M. Updated to the latest Skype a few days ago, and now every time I attempt to log in I get this error message "Please re-install Skype." I tried reinstalling Skype from scratch, to no avail. What up with this?
Yeah, this happened in many ROMs and firmwares, not only on your CM7...I dont know why, even is newest original Skype or modded...Some bug ?
Regards
Same problem, wiping data/reinstalling didn't work.
Vibrant running CM7.
Has anyone found a solution for this? I am having the same issue on my Samsung Vibrant running CM7.

EDIT.
So after tinkering a bit it turns out that i was in fact entering my password wrong and was not able to sign in at all. Now i have been able to sign in the last 2 times, but the 3rd time i got the reinstall warning and the 4th time i was able to sign in... Weird.
Hahaa can't really see anything.
Damn, that's the only thing skype writes..
W/com.skype.cp( 3232): skypekit crashed during sign in, its beyond the normal process now

Hi there, I'm running Android Revolution on my Unlocked HTC One M8. Yesterday Snapchat randomly stopped working, an alert "Unfortunately, Snapchat has stopped working" popped up when I was viewing one. After that every time I opened the app the same message appeared. I uninstalled the app first and reinstalled, which didn't fix the problem. I then downloaded the older version (4.1.7) which the same thing happened to. When I went down to the version below that that didn't include stories, it worked fine. Everytime I open the new version (4.1.7 and over) it lets me put in my name and password, it is only when I log in does it crash. Can anyone suggest any fix?
Try pulling a logcat. If it only happens in new versions they probably just mucked something up and I'm sure they know about it already. Are you by any chance running art?

Thank you for the reply! Turns out I upgraded my ROM (Android Revolution 5.5 to AR 6) and it is working fine. But I hear that the latest .apk is having a few difficulties with selected Android handsets so just a heads up for anyone else with the same hassle.
I have the same problem going on on my m8
Anyone else having this problem? On my girlfriend's phone since the latest update for Chrome, everytime you try and do anything it crashes and asks you to send a bug report. I was trying to work out whether this was a z1 compact issue or something specific to her phone and haven't been able to find anyone else with the same issue.

Thanks guys clearing data worked.
anybody having trouble with their google app recently.
Mine keeps crashing and I can't figure out what's wrong. It happens virtually every time I try and search for something within the app.
I've cleared the cache a few times and finally yesterday I did a complete factory reset and it's still happening.
I am running the beta version but I've been running beta forever.
I'm stumped.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.....

If it's not themed, then I know nothing. I haven't had any trouble with the non beta app ?
thanks for the reply. You seem to always be around.
Anyway, just left the beta and went back to the stock version and all seems ok now.
It's just weird as I've been in the beta of many apps for some time now and with a few different devices and have never had any difficulties with the google beta apps.
And I guess nobody else is having the same issue.
Have a great day!!

Only problem I've had was it repeatedly notifying me of reminders I was marked done. That was all February but March seems to have fixed that.
I'm having the same issue, do you have Android Auto installed? Google has been crashing on me daily.
From past 4 days, every morning Fitbit app logs out whenever I open the app and have to login every morning. For the rest of the day it works well but next morning it's same story again. Anyone else facing this issue?

Did you attempt to try uninstalling the app, restarting your phone and then reinstalling the app and see if that rectifies the issue?

It's ironic that many people reporting this problem are using Android.
-- In isolated cases, iOS users are also griping.
-- Search for an older Fitbit apk preferably, one year and work your way forward in time.
