Hi all, this is my first post ever on XDA.
I'm using the[ROM][Cool3D Sense 3.0][14 June]Cool Kingdom v6a|Stable|CM7/r2
with the newest radio patch and RILs.
However, after the new ROM, I can't watch my videos that I recorded on my very machine.
I have no problem watching videos on youtube but when I attempt to watch
my videos after recording, it only shows a white screen and the player seems big.
Weird thing is that I can see the thumbnail in the gallery and when I transfer
the files from my computer, I can watch them but very choppy.
I can also hear sound from the videos on the machine but not the images.
Any help will be very appreciated.
Thx
Stock .200 JB. When I record videos there are only displayed in Album but not in the Movies app. It's hard to find a video with all those pictures about. I have 5 videos in the movies app shown, the other 10 are not shown, all new videos are not displayed as well.
I tried clearing the data for Movies but still only loads 5 videos.
Also, when I record a video in portrait I am forced to watch it in landscape, WTF?
Try mxplayer it's much better

Uninstall the damn thing and use another player.
I am not looking for an alternative app, I am looking for a solution to continue using Sony's app.

I know, but that Movies app has a bug. SONY will release a bugless version soon.
So like the title suggests, I can't view YouTube videos above 480p. This is both WiFi and data. I always have to reboot to view HD but after a couple of minutes it goes back to the way it was and can't view these HD videos.
Also I can't see video Snapchats or vines like the YouTube problem. I have to reboot to view them.
This has occurred to me on various roms. I'm currently on the team gummy ROM.
Like we know all CM roms and based have that problem, videos are pixeled if you use Youtube app (v5), or watch videos using web. All except 1 rom, the MIUI of Teddytsen (CM10.1). In that rom videos looks perfect, not pixeled.
I've found a workaround for see video on Youtube (v5, remember) not pixeled. For example if i'm on twitter (Talon app) and there is a tweet with a youtube video, if i open the video itsn't not pixeled. And more, if i open that video link using Youtube app the video neither is pixeled, and now i can see all videos with Youtube app perfectly. Only when i close Youtube app and open it again the videos are pixeled again. Is so strange
Really is not possible fix it? Why MIUI rom hasn't that problem?

You can't. It's a Youtube / Android thing. It will most probably be solved when Marshmellow comes out.
Android does not support 4K resolution for the display... so Sony only implemented 4K in specific apps ( mainly Gallery & Video )...
all other apps will see the phone as 1080p only, including YouTube, so it will only show you 1080p option... there's two options
1- Google : update the Yt App to support this feature which might not be logical for them because... No. 2
2- Android 6 ( Marshmallow ) is supposed to support 4K, so Sony might be able to enable it on all other apps, or just create a white list of apps that could benefit from 4K display and enable 4K for them only to save power...
I saw something that you can install dolphin browser and then install flashplayer manually ( dont know either if it works on the last android os) and selecting desktop opt.
But thanks also for your comments guys this is some good information to know
There is a custom youtube app which has an option "Enable All qualities" this may allow you to view youtube content at the highest quality supported by android if it isnt avaliable
"OGYoutube"
An alternate solution would be using google chrome to open youtube.com (desktop) and watching a 4K video
(youtube can allow html5 playback which chrome and many other browsers can use)
