[q] htc one x wont turn on!? - HTC One X

Hey guys a couple of weeks ago i got a little excited and started to root my phone and add customization, basically i had no clue what i was doing, as i was downloading a new update for my phone it got stuck halfway through, So i decided to restart my phone, by restarting it my phone would now not get past the HTC boot screen so i decided to leave it for a couple of days.... now when i checked on it again the phone will not even start...i tried charging it for several hours but all i get is red led lights flashing, ive also tried doing the button trick but that didnt work too!! Can someone please help me? Is my phone fully bricked? I have no clue how to fix this

Boot loop on first (green) HTC screen after un-root

Hi
Background: My phone is/was knackered...maybe from overclocking or something...who knows.
Anyway, first the trackpad and down volume key stoped working, a couple of days ago (when screen was off/locked) it would light up for a couple of seconds (as if i pressed the power button) then screen would go off for half a second, then light up again, this repeats till battery dead. tried everything, new rom, radio and resets, nothing worked.
as a last ditch effort i thought i would try an un root to RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed,
may also be worth noting that i was running CM 7.0.3 -hboot 93 - s-off.
after connecting and trying to run the RUU i kept getting ERROR 171, i read in another thread that i should run whilst in fastboot, this time it worked, on screen instruction told me it had finished ok but now im stuck in a bootloop on first screen !
Anyone have an idea of where to go next ?
its also worth mentioning that ive got a Sensation on pre-order which should turn up next week some time so im not going too crazy about this but it would be nice to see if i can fire it up just to satisfy myself that un-rooting has (as i suspected ) had no effect on the problem
cheers (sorry for rambling on)

[Q] help with bricked demo phone

Hey guys im just looking to get pointed in the right direction, i never like asking for handouts but im butfuzzled,
this is what happened, some kid messed up the settings on the phone so i needed to return it to stock. i tried to do a master reset through the settings but it just stayed at the download screen for about 30 min so i decided to hold the power button down and do a hard restart, the phone comes back on and i go through and put the phone back to stock manually, remove all sorts of widgets, bla bla bla.
the phone was good for about a week and half then all of a sudden it just went dead, no lights come on when i charge it, no battery indicator on the screen, its not recognized by usb, it does not charge by usb, it wont go into download mode holding the three buttons down.
things ive done so far, search for about an hour and i still cant figure this out
ive tried doing battery pulls, ive tried downloading kies and odin as well. Ive followed the how to get the phone working with odin but nothing the phone still has a black screen, no lights come on, no nothing.
what is going on with this thing? can someone please help me cause this thing is jacked up and my boss is going to make me pay for it if its broken

Sounds like you are having the same problem I have with my Galaxy S II. Did you or anyone else install any custom roms on the device? If so there are many known issues with this happening and NO solutions as of this far. Try getting a battery that is fully charged and see if the phone will come one with that, if it will then you are not completely stuck but there still is no way to fix it without getting a USB JIG from ebay/amazon etc. to try and get into download mode and restore the stock rom through Odin. hope this helps

Agree with the above post, but the Samsung USB jigs are very inexpensive on eBay, only a few dollars shipped. I have one, and it saved my formerly bricked (no download mode and unresponsive) Galaxy S 4G.

GN will not start/boot

My GN will not boot/start. When I try to start it I just get a picture of three icons, and it get stuck there. Got my phone two days ago, and this happend on the first boot.
The same thing happens when I put my charger in, and I need to pull the battery to get it off.
Anyone know what this is ?
Trying to post a picture of the screen.
Try holding both volume buttons and the power button from when the device is off this should boot it into the bootloader
If this works you may be able to salvage things

If you got it a couple days ago from a store, I would just exchange it.
What happens if you plug it into a computer? A recovery Tar was recently released for the galaxy nexus. Check the Dev forums.

Randomly turns on and has a seziure?

im not sure if this counts as a brick but......
a friend of mine droped off this phone to see if i could get it to work. I've donw some reading around but havent found anything. When i press the power button, nothing happend. but when i wait like 10-15 min, the htc logo comes up, and the phone vibrates, thats it. it keeps vibrating untill i take out the battery, or if you leave it, it stops maybe anotheer 15 min later, but then the screen goes black, and i cant do anything. ive tried getting into the boot menu by using the hold power, volume down method, but doesnt happen.
Hi,
I have exactly the same issue.
My phone came shipped with 2.3.5 from the factory, I tried downgrading to froyo to get root access and then recovery.
Unfortunately after my phone got the issue what you are having right now i found out this warnning mentioned in this thread (HERE)
Can any one help in this or advise what is the problem and how to resolve.
Regards
I don't know if any if this was attempted on the phone. But I would very money that someone tried doing this or tried routing it incorrectly and this is the result

[Q] HTC one V appears dead.

Hi everyone,
About 3 months ago I flashed a new rom which I found on this website under the stable tab.
I couldn't have been happier with the new system, everything worked perfectly, but now yesterday I was browsing the google play store when my screen suddenly laggs and gets stuck. So I waited at first, but after a while I tried to closing the screen to let him rest and resolve.. which didn't do anything, and that was strange to begin with. Suddenly the screen went black and did not want to open up again, I waited several hours, still nothing. I placed him i the usb charger and there is no indication that it's charging, no green or orange light. It doesn't respond when I try turning it on/off, or use power/volume down button.
My phone seems dead at it is atm, and I'm really sad.. anything I can still try? Help would be much appreciated.
edit: update, tried charging it again, the range led is blinking now, when I try turning it on while charged the main touch buttons enlighten and dim emediately after. GOing to let it ' charge ' for a bit now.
Miracle! Miracle!!!
Dead man back to life!!!

Hi OP,
Just wonderedhow long you left it between your unsuccessful charges and the time it worked. Happened to me yesterday, tried to charge it all night and no luck.
Cheers.

Connect it to your PC and check if it shows QHSUSB_DLOAD as the driver.
If this is shown, you may have done something like this, so you hard bricked it.
You may try this software fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788227) or this (http://www.jtagbox.com/jtag-news/ri...nbrick-unlock-supercid-imei-repair-supported/) to exit the mode.
