Hey guys,
I have XZL C6503 and was on eXistenZ v4 with unlocked bootloader and a few days ago my phone started to reboot randomly, so I decided to flash stock rom with flash tool.
But since then Im stuck in a bootloop.
I have read this Guide but I didnt managed it to work again.
I have no problems to go into flashmode/fastboot mode and I already tried out different kernels and managed to open CWM on my phone but no matter which rom I try to install barely the installation has started my phone turns off.
I flashed with flash tool:
C6503_10.3.1.A.2.67_Global-LTE.ftf
C6503_10.3.A.0.423_MEA.ftf
C6503_10.5.A.0.230_BR.ftf
Flashtool did not produce any error, but my phone wont go further than the SONY logo.
I also tried the tool emma, but it was just as with flashtool.
When I try Sony PC Companion it produces some error, same with SEUS, probably cause of the unlocked bootloader.
Do you know any way to help me out?
I just need to relock my bootloader to send it back to sony.
Backup TA need unfortunately a running system.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
Well... When im having a bootloop, i usually flash the stock ftf, then wipe ALL.... It works for me
hm I tried it serveral times, but didnt succeed
I read some tip, which suggests to flash a rom via fastboot, but I need a rom that comes with a system.img
Do you know where to get such file?

Hey there guys,
I've got a bit of a problem...
I have an Xperia arc S here, Locked bootloader. CWM installed through flashtool.
I tried to flash a rom (Yes, with compatitibility for locked bootloader). Ofcourse I made a backup, then wiped everything before flashing, also formatted the required items.
However, the phone gets stuck in a bootloop, I also can't boot into recovery...
So, any of you guys got an idea, something possible through fastboot? or PCC?
Thanks in advance.
If your phone's bootloader is locked then the best solution would be to repair it with PCC or SEUS!
Or you can manually flash the appropriate ftf file using flash tool!
Trying PCC now, got some bad experiences with it though using an xperia sola. Lets hope for the best.
First time doesn't work, would anyone be kind enough to provide a link to a ftf file?
PCC finished it in the second round... Thanks mate.
Install CWM with X-Parts from Play Store.
Hi guys i am so nervous because of mi xps doesn´t weak up, its already in bootloop.
I have tried a lot of things, because i have an unlocked bootloader, the pc recognised the phone, and it seems that via fastboot i can flash a recovery like Advanced Stock Kernel, but really the phone still in bootloops and i have not got recovery
I have connected to flashtools and flash .55 ftf, the flashtools told that everything is good, but incomprensively de phone still in bootloops.
Now the phone is charging (all the leds working) but after five minutes, the phone turns on and bootloop again.
The zip that i flash before the bootlops is this: http://www.mediafire.com/?67mcui28bh3f45o of this threat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1724602 , ICS STATUS BAR V3
can someone help me please?
THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH
Try flashing stock fw using flashtool again?

you are on .55, the version used for that mod is .45 thats why you get bootloop, all you need to do is to reflash the stock firmware via flashtool.
always been said before: before to do anything else, make a backup.so in case of problems you will still have your backup.
Or you can now use the official flash tool from Sony.

There is no chance of problems using the official generic world firmwares provided by Sony itself
Guys, I need your help because I always keep messing up with my phone and got always stuck in bootloop. i am fed up with downloading and repairing my phone using PC companion. So, what I was thinking that if I install CWM then I can easily flash my phone back to normal, but the problem with this is that I don't know how to install the CWM for the phone. So I came up here to get some help from you guys, because PC companion takes hours repairing my phone. Please help, I always mess up while swapping the sd-card with internal memory.

Just use flashtool to fix (re-flashing) your phone with FTF file that matches your phone. You can learn in this tutorial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697277
And you can learn how to UBL, install cwm and deodex your rom here:

Not yet, you have to unlock it to have CWM.
Hey friends,
I finally managed to brick my device (c6503).
Had it on resurrectionremix and wanted to go to lineage. After that didnt boot i tried some older CM12/11 builds and finally lost my recovery whith flashing an aosp rom...
I decided to go on stock using flashtool, and now here I am, looking as stupid as it gets
Tried various ftf's using flashtool, always resulting an a black screen after the sony logo. now i dont know what to do next.
Your Help is much appreciated

I was able to find a solution myself. I flashed some Kernel which included cwm via flashtool. I was able to boot into this recovery. Then I used ADB sideload to install CM14.1 unofficial and voilà!
I hope this helps anyone having a similar issue.
Regards!
Were you able to return to ROM STOCK ??
I'd like that, but unfortunately I could not, even flashing a custom recovery on it.
I would like to go back to ROM STOCK, do you know any tips?

I have a similar question, I appreciate your help if you can.
Now, I have 7.1.1 Nougat from XOSP , and it works well. I'm trying to restore the official kernel from Sony, using Sony's Emma, to make some tests. When I flash the package from Emma onto C6503, it won't turn on, just show Sony Xperia logo and then black screen. Do I need to flash other packages ? I thought the Sony's official kernel has all things to put it back to near original form.
Thanks!
I have Installed RR-N 20160312 then revert to stock LL, then Only Sony/Xperia Logo. Then I ask some question, they say Flash Kk, successfully flash the Kk build. But unfortunately, My Internal Storage Cannot Read. I think that was the Problem why flashing LL just make it only Sony Logo, No Bootamation. Still finding a workaround to fix this

I was not able to return to stock Rom. In fact, I tried to revert to stock today by simply flashing it with flashtool but got the same "black screen after Xperia logo" issue as last time. I would like to return to stock in the future, but for now I dont know how and I dont think there is anyone dedicaded to fix this issue right now.

Well, just got back to Stock 5.1.1.
Followed the idea posted by Kran007:
-Coming back from CM14, used EMMA FlashTool, that resulted in the famous black screen
-Flashed stock Kit Kat FTF using FlashTool (not EMMA) with unlocked bootloader (should work perfectly fine for locked bootloaders as well) and started the phone correctly.
-When back to FlashTool and locked the bootloader, just in case.
-Used PC Companion to update to the latest build available, only works with locked bootloader i think
It's not the best solution, it isn't the fastest either, but it works!!!
Hope this can help anyone...
Just flash stock 4.4 kk firmware using flashtool. Yes, it needs a lot of work to go back to stock LP, root and have recovery but it is the best way when you flash custom rom with nougat and above. I don't face again the problem of not accessing internal storage ☺

Yes you can flash stock rom with locked bootloader. Just download .ftf file via xperifirm and flash it.

I tried flashing with flashtool (old and new versions) and also tried different roms but getting same errors like cache.sin finished with error, kernel.sin finished with error (etc.)
Not able to unlock bootloader either getting command not allowed error. though all the drivers are ok.
anyways thanks for reply friend.
