I heard the G3's battery was bad, but I just want to hear from other people how much battery life they're getting.
I have G2 as well, and it seems that G3 would consume the power twice as much compared to G2 in whatever I do.
How long does your battery last with heavy usage on around 70~80% brightness ?
Mine today on 60% brightness mostly

I assume on ~70~80% brightness and heavy usage?
I just checked my G2, it has (on constant 70% brightness) 18 hours and 30 minutes of on time, with 4 hours and 34 minutes of screen on time.. with 55% of the battery life still remaining.
and it was on medium-heavy usage...
hate you QHD

Yes it's another battery life thread, but I don't think I've seen anyone post 2 days+

Screen brightness 30%, light browsing, 20 texts, few phone calls, bluetooth use in Torque, OTA update and sync with Gmail/twitter/facebook.
Biggest hit on battery life was probably the average signal at work.
Yes it's pretty much minimal use, but seems to better than the S2 ime and a massive improvement from the Desire I upgraded from.
Please just post in this thread already made, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1374286.
BTW, that's awesome.
I recently had a situation where I had my phone drop from 50% to 10% in less than an hours.
After that I installed GSAM.
Here are some of the pictures and stats for my Verizon LG G3.
I had my phone sit by me today for barely any use and it's at about 30% (10pm, taken off charger at noon)

On standby today
the only abnormal use would be the phone in this picture, had a long conversation.
Any and all insight would be great, I would really like to solve this. NO my phone is NOT rooted and I am not interested in doing so.
The only thing I can think of is there is a heat issue as I have a spot on my screen that shows up UNDER the glass that looks like a dull burn, and once the phone got so hot in my pocket, I had to take it out.
Hello there.
I`m using LG G4 (F500L) for a week. I`ve problem with my battery.
i was using 5V, with 2A charger with my G4, it charges very fast and discharges very fast too!?
Charging over an hour 0 to 100 and watching QHD videos using youtube (using wifi) over 2 hours to 0. it`s lasting 8-10 hours IN regular usage.
When using my phone normally it says 35% of battery left and it`ll suddenly shutdown cause of battery id empty. It says there`s ~40% of battery remaining when i connect charger and start it up after sudden shutdown. Tried changing battery and charger with new ones but no luck.

my phone takes from %20 to %100 about an hour and 20mins
Seems right.

yep, thats normal behaviour when charging via AC and screen off. charging via USB or screen on takes much longer.
Depends on the capabilities of the charger, CPU temp, battery temp, etc. This question can't be answered with a number.
In ideal conditions about 1 hour and 15 minutes from 0% to 100%, though in my experience closer to 1.5 hours.
However 50% can be charged in 30 minutes and if possible try and do smaller charges like that instead of full charges.

Any way to set the charging limit without root to say 90% from the preset 85 %?
If you are trying to charge up to 90% instead of calling at 85% is too sweet a bixby routine to stop taking a charge at 90% and your will be good.
i'm still playing around with bixby routines. at the moment, i'm using the app battery charge notifier, set the bat max with notification at 90.
I've made this in routines and it works nicely it stops at 99 and when I usually wake up at 8 it's topped up and didn't charge the whole night
