That is so odd! On the g2, it was att that removed that option! This time around it's sprint? Why do carriers feel the need to remove options or features? LOL

I was browsing the theme's on my girl's AT&T model. Nothing impressive so I'm not worried that it's missing from my T-Mo model.
Look here it's seems it's only hidden

Took me about an hour of web searching but here is a work around. I dont know who the credit goes to but it works :highfive:
Last update, I can use themes from LG Smartworld as well now, it just takes some convoluted steps!
Download the "launcherpro" app from the play store, you don't need the launcher itself, just its "Activities" widget.
Add the activities widget to your home screen it will give you a list of apps/functions of apps that you can add as a shortcut on your home screen.
If you scroll down to "Home" one of the options is "Theme" with the subtext "com.lge.launcher2.theme.LGThemeChooserActivit y". Choose that option and you'll get a shortcut on your home screen that lets you change the theme(You'll have to install some first the phone only comes with the one default theme). If you get a menu with no options make sure you have chosen the right Theme option(my phone had two different Theme listings but the subtext was different only one says LGThemeChooserActivity).

I've searched his development thread and this forum but didn't find the answer. Maybe I'm missing something but how do I make it so my wallpaper scrolls from page to page? If I can't scroll is there a way to make the wallpaper fit to the screen instead of cropping to a small section of the image?
I'd like to know this as well. Do all TouchWiz based roms have scrolling removed? Is it possible to get back? Thanks!
Samsung removed it in tw due to crapples lawsuits. You can get it back by installing go launcher. I think some other launchers may also have it.

Not the version packed with the ROM. It had a toggle for it, but it doesn't work. Maybe the pay version does?
That sucks I figured.. Launcher Pro has it working as well but it is way to basic and Go Launcher is way to bloated. Thanks
I'm definitely feeling you in the go bloat. I used it a while back and liked it,but it gets too damn heavy after a while.

Ok, I was wondering if anyone out there had an apk of the TW Widgets or a modded TW launcher. I'm looking to get more than 4×4 on the home screen and keep the TW Widgets. I am not looking to root just yet so a zip for flashing is out of the question. Thanks in advance.

You can download nova apex or holo launcher and still have the stock widgets and also change your rows and columns

Not exactly. Some of the widgets don't work in Nov (such as the weather clock)

I really would like to keep the touchwiz 4×4 calendar widget. I like it the best and it doesn't work on any other launcher

Without root it's doubtful you'd be able to move the modded apk into /system/app or change permissions anyhow..
You wouldn't be able to install or side load it like any other third party launcher?

Nova Launcher
i have been using Nova Launcher on my AT&T Galaxy Note 2 and I must say it's pretty sweet...customization is sweet color them hand gestures and all...check it out in the Google Play Store theirs a free version and a paid version $4.00...I use the free version for like 10 minutes I liked it so much so I just purchased it....it's been amazing..everyone I know have been asking me what is that and where can I download that at...Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is simply untouchable at the moment...and way way better then any iphone out there....

Business Calendar from market seems like a suitable replacement for that widget. Try it out.
Got sick of not being able to find anything so I just rooted and I am running the modded touching. Thanks to all who offered ideas.

Hi,
First of all sorry for being a noob. And my problem is, is there any way for me to put a note/todo widget on the lockscreen of my note 2 running jelly bean 4.1.2, unrooted. Please let me know if there is a way to get there..
Thanks
Lock screen widgets are introduced in Android 4.2, so we don't have them yet. Wait till samsung releases 4.2 version update to our Note 2
Try go locker it has option for lock screen widget. Don't know exactly for note widget

Thanks for the quick response; by the way, i had tried go locker but it seems to be complicating the lockscreen as a whole.. The widgets are placed as a seperate page which makes us swipe from the lock screen to view the widgets. That itself ruins the sense of lockscreen widget i think. We could use that very simple swype on the stock lockscreen to get the whole homescreen with all the widgets. So this sort of idea made me uninstall go locker. I just want to be reminded of my next hr todo s whenever i try to use my phone. So here i think a wait till 4.2 is the only way out rite?...
I used to use
Executive Assistant they have a free version to try but not sure about notes

Is it just me or am I missing the option to change themes on my G3? Isn't it under display>Theme? I do not have a theme option under display in my settings. I am on Verizon and have rooted, but not uninstalled anything other than bloat. I have installed Exposed and G3 Tweaksbox.
Thanks.

On my phone the setting looks similar to this
http://i2.wp.com/www.gottabemobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Note-5-led.jpg?resize=720,424
Why is it different from the pics in setting
http://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-take-screenshot-note5/
A few American models have the setting layout different than the international models.

Can't.
You would need a custom romantic with the option.
Yeah romantic
Damn that sucks
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Yes you can switch it go on main screen gold you finger on any empty space on you home screen and where it will show you a option to change wallpaper next to it you have themes go there and there should be 3 installed then choose the stock one hit apply an thats it if you want experiment then you can go to the market in the same app and download new ones. Good luck replay if you did it

He wants to change the settings layout, not his theme.
