Ok, I am an idiot! Let's get that out of the way first.
I rooted my N5110 using Mobile Odin with no issues. I was so excited about getting air command that I did not flash correctly and I started to boot loop on the splash screen.
I Odin'd TWRP (amongst other recoveries) and am unable to flash any ROM.
I was getting the #7 error and I researched how to get rid of it, but I don't believe that is my issue.
I tried to Odin the stock ROM, but keep getting the sboot.bin error and Write errors.
I then felt my bootloader was bad, so I successfully odin'd the k. K bootloader, but I still get the errors.
I have researched for hours and have tried all I know to try.
My next step is ADB with TWRP and Android SDK. I will try that when I get home.
I have wiped everything multiple times.
I have been unable to find a .pit file that will allow me to repartition. It keeps getting errors in Odin.
Most of my errors in TWRP say there are partition issues.
I can't believe I am hard bricked because I am able to easily get into recovery and download mode.
I don't believe the motherboard is bad because Odin is able to write the recovery files.
I am certain there is an easy fix that I am to ignorant to know about.
Can anyone shoot me some ideas?

I am currently stuck on Odin, trying to re-partition. It says Get PIT for mapping..
And does not look like it will be getting that PIT anytime soon.

I'm not an expert on the subject but if it was me I would try switching recoveries by flashing PhilZ in TWRP and see how it responds.
May not solve a thing but won't hurt anything either. Most of the Devs recommend using PhilZ recovery to flash KK roms for better compatibility.

hi again i used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513359 and now i get an error complete(write) operation failure and now i get a error on my phone "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." Keis won't reconize the phone. What can i do to fix this.
As far as I know, you don't use kies to return your phone to stock (flash stock rom), you use ODIN. Get the stock ROM for your phone, and use ODIN (download mode) to flash it.
If you have a back up made with CWM, you can just restore that back up using CWM recovery. I'd do a wipe also, permission fix just to keep everything clean.
Well it won't let me get to the cwm, clockworkmod right, all it does is go to that screen where it says to use keis.

Aha finally. After about 25 times of getting the same message at about 1/4 of the way back to stock if finally did it. Did the darkside wipe and flashed it again just to make sure. Couldn't update it to 4.0.3 via keis but i did find a stock 4.0.3 on this forum. rooted it and flashed infamous 2.8 working fine now.
Hello, so today i was getting a play market error so i decided to flash another recovery, as mine is the earliest versions of TWRP, so i went ahead and flashed it with Odin. It was successful, but wouldn't boot into recovery. So i went ahead and tried to flash another recovery and now it says NAND write fail. Is it bricked ?
It still boots to 4.2.2 AOSP, but i have no root so can't flash recovery.
I AM OFFICIALLY SCREWED !
After getting out of download mode, it wouldnt boot anymore. Firmware upgrade issue. !
I would say buy a usb jig from eBay. Much faster and cheaper than anything else. It forces the phone to go to download mode and from then you can go to Odin and flash stock.

Somehow i managed to get it into Download Mode, but i can't find any stock odin files. Can you help me please!?
Edit: I found it but it's 1.6 GB.. Waiting 10mins
Edit: Weird, but after trying to flash top 3 famous recoveries, they all failed. So i went back and flashed the original recovery and it succeeded!
Thanks for your help, i'll have to figure out how to flash a useable recovery now >.>

IDK how yours failed. Just a few days ago, I flashed TWRP after trying out the new CWM, and everything went great.

if you can get into d/l mode, you have it whipped.
Here's the TWRP 2.5.0.2 file:
https://hotfile.com/dl/230303459/7ce1553/openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.2-jfltexx.tar.html
Install with ODIN.
Steps to follow........
Method #1 -
Place file in PDA box*
Uncheck all other boxes.
Press start.
When installation is complete, unplug usb cord and pull the battery.
Insert the battery but Don't turn on the phone.
Place phone in Recovery mode via the Power + Volume up buttons.
Method #2 -
The other way I've read to install TWRP Recovery is:
Place the TWRP 2.5.0.2 tar in the PDA box*
Check the auto reboot box and f time reset box.
Start the installation and let the phone reboot.
I believe Method #2 is the method of choice, but sometimes the Recovery doesn't take, so Method #1is recommended.
Here is an explanation why:

I have been using TWRP 2.5.0.2 for the past few months and have not experienced One issue, or really any issues. The issues I've been reading about have been with TWRP 2.6.0.0.
Yea its what im running. Guess I will Odin to 2.5

Yes, use the tutorial in case you have an issue flashing the recovery, but I think you'll be fine

Fixed it.
Hello. About three days ago, I decided to move to Sammy 4.3 from AOSP 4.3. I've had huge problems since then. I flashed the MJ5 bootloader, ARHD 20.0 and Devil kernel. The problem occurs on SpeedWizz and 20.1 as well.
My recovery partition gets corrupt. Recovery boots straight to a kind of download mode with no text/counters. I have to flash recovery from Odin in order to fix it. Sometimes it won't even work without a PIT file. Sometimes, I have to flash multiple times and it goes to the Firmware Update Failed, Try recovery mode in Odin screen. Sometimes, it says failed but works anyway. And it just gets corrupt after a small delay every time.
Any way to fix this? I'm going crazy without my recovery.

I had a number of strange problems after flashing the mj5 bootloader, all started working well again after flashing dr ketans bootloader patch (id not realised that its different to the wifi patch)
Thanks guys it was NAND corruption, apparently. I updated to the latest British ROM, and it's been fine after that.

tried to unroot kept failing pressed re-partion and reset time and also tried a usb 2.0 instead of 3.0
model should be SGH-m919 as im in america and use t-mobile and in the download screen its red SGH-M919..
i had issues rooting it a while back with it showing that it failed every attempt i forget which odin i used and root file but it eventually worked after using an older version of odin... it seems random.
Im trying to make it non-void so no rootkit and i know the rest [just need it set back to factory default!]
maybe updated drivers for my windows?
maybe its my windows 8.1 but i last did this on windows 8 [both x64]
Thanks in advance im sure ill find the proper fix for this issue here.

On this note, if you have updated to Android 4.3 and are trying to flash back to 4.2, it won't work. You'd need a stock 4.3 image to flash in Odin.
I don't know if this is what your problem is, but I do know that a lot of people have run into this road block triyng to do exactly this.
I have searched the forums and found issues similar to mine but not exact. I was running 4.4.2 and hated the memory card issue and tried to downgrade back to 4.3. I have done this before and also rooted and unrooted my note 2 so I am fairly familiar, how ever something happened this time. I can boot into downloading but not recovery and when I turn on my phone I get stuck in boot loop, have tried flashing in odin and always fails, just read that due to knox 4.4.2 cant be downgraded. any help would be appreciated. I even tried just to flash the stock 4.4.2 to no avail

Do a google search for my fix.tar and flash it. After that you will have a recovery to boot into and flash any rom you want. If you dont like the recovery you can also flash your recovery of choice.
