Hi Guys,
What's a good replacement battery for the Atom Life and where can I get it online? Stock battery is 1530mah, can we use 1600mah in our device? Please help, my old battery dies too fast nowadays.
Thanks,
Bree
Hi,
yes I was wondering about that too. I got my Atom Life with so called xp-09 battery which drains in hmm 1.5 day.
In some other post I've read about how certain ROMs can drain battery much faster than others. Do you think that's true?
Anyways ... I'm looking for better battery alternative - if possible the one that fits under original cover.

Yes I believe Atom Life does not have internal battery.

Clarkkent: ok
Clarkkent: Will a slim extended version becoming out maybe to work with the Surface case
Risa: We currently don't have any plans to make slim extended life batteries. I will forward your request to product development.
Clarkkent: This Super Extended battery will work with the current Active case for Galaxy Nexus LTE?
Risa: Yes, you are correct.
Risa: We do have plans to make extended cases that will accommodate this battery, but they're still being finalized.
Clarkkent: So I don't have to buy another case for Galaxy Nexus for this battery?

Well, seeing as how there's no other option. I think it's in their own interest to include one (as has every extended battery so far).

Really? How often do you guys use NFC? You consider the convenience of NFC (rather than more popular alternatives like credit cards and cash) more important than battery life (which has no alternative)?

If you're fine with battery life why are you in this thread?
How is the battery life with this extended battery? I just bought this today, and the reviews were mixed on Amazon. Just trying to get more of an idea on how long this last you guys.
Which one did you get NFC or not. I have non nonNFC. I will post my battery results on soon.

I have this battery . Usually on 3G anyways and rarely use wifi mainly due to the fact my job doesn't have wifi and I also get weak signal (sometimes 69% without signal) and I easily get two days worth out of it . Granted rarely use the phone at work due to me being busy so mostly standby . Other than that outside of work it gets used as a mp3 player at the gym, texts and phone calls . I'm running on 4.0.4 with lean kernel (need to update my sig) . Overall yeah it adds some bulk but since the days of the evo I had a 3500 on it and have been used to it . On the weekends in full signal I easily get 5+ hours per 10 % of battery . Also I've noticed the GN doesn't do the hard drop from 100 -90 like the evo or evo3d did .

Other thoughts, yeah it sometimes seems like overkill, yeah I know I could charge my phone almost anywhere . But I also like knowing that if those options aren't handy I have enough gas in the tank sort of speaking so I dont have to worry about it . Especially if for some reason I need to use GPS or what not

just got the 3800 mah seidio extended battery last week. i have to. im a heavy user and i hate having to plug my phone in everywhere i go to suckle on some electricity.
i consider myself a fairly heavy user. 4g blue tooth on all day. facebooking twittering all the time and a very heavy amount of word with friends. i also like to (short) videos here and there. oh yeah. and i talk and text. usually talk and play words simultaneously. (I'm on gummy 0.7.6 runing franco 18.6 kernel)
and with this beast i get a full day on the phone. for me, that's truly amazing.
seidio just emailed those of us that got the 3800 non nfc battery before feb 29, 2012 to offer us an opportunity to buy the 3800 mah nfc version for only $20 + shipping
u know i had to jump on that deal
This is definitely one of my favorite batteries.
I want one of these but that 70 dollar price tag is just so damn hefty!! I'm sure I'll bite the bullet and get one eventually tho. I don't like having to charge my phone even tho I usually always have access to a charger.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
To those that managed to get the NFC version of this battery, how is your NFC working? I bought some tags to play with and the 3800 battery won't read them unless I put them directly on the battery, no cover. Even then, it's hit or miss. I got a replacement sent out to me from Seidio but it seems to have the same issues. Wondering if it's just an issue with the battery?
I did try the tags with the OEM battery and the 2100mAh battery and they worked fine with those.
I can not understand why it happened to me, i have been using gio for over a year now with 2.3.3 and my battery could take out 2 days with music, wifi and games but a month back i flashed Cm7.2 and the battery drained like hell.
This battery issue is killing me and i tried everything, calibration, wiping stats, flashing other ROMs at 100% and alot of other tweeks but now i give up.
I think its battery problem but how can this problem arise, iam thinking to buy a new battery.
Does anyone has same issue and changed the battery?
Was the problem corrected after new battery?
Please reply as your replies would really help me
Thank You!
reflash but wipe all battery settings and retrain all wipes battery effects are software is obscure complaining(intelligent?) battery deductions
but once max==min it fails
wipe battery after 24h load then drain as far as possible at the end reboot untill it does not start any more or boot cwm
then rest a while and boot Rom.
maximizes spread software min and max
but you can never beat a real dead battery
Enthusiastic Gio User
Very glad with the work done
But sometimes a pusher for results( nothing bad intended)
So u saying, i shuld buy new battery?
I already said im gonna buy a new one as this one is swollen.
I asked if anyone used new battery after the battery is swollen and their experience.
Will 1500mAh battery on gio do good?
1500 is fine, just remove batterystats

batteries dont life forever, just like humans. however, batteries are smaller, also in life. after some time and lots of charging it will lose some Mah and not have the 1300 like it has normally but maybe 1200, and even less if you use it a long time.

Hi Everyone,
I have recently purchased Micromax Andriod one mobile for my mom. The battery for her lasts 14 hours as she does not use this mobile a lot. But somewhere down the line I feel that some time will come where I need to get a replacement battery soon. I wanted to ask that can I use 3000 mAh battery or higher capacity battery than the present one (1700 mAh)?

There is no 3000 mAh battery available for Micromax Canvas A1 currently. You can try using it if it comes in the market in the future.
As for the battery life, that is pretty low what you are getting. If the mobile is not being used, i.e it is in standby and you are getting just 14 hours then there is something wrong, the standby of this phone is pretty good, I use it moderately and I get around 24 hours of battery life, And when I am at home, connected to Wifi and minimal usage easily gives me over 24 hours of battery life. I have also got a whopping 51 hours of battery life once on a single charge with WiFi and minimal usage, i.e when my phone was on standby most of the time.
Can you tell me exactly how is the phone being used? What sort of apps are installed? Its on 3G/2G/WiFi? How is the signal reception? etc. Maybe I could help you more.
Exact Question

Thank you for your response. Actually its my mistake, instead of typing 34 hours I typed 14 hours in hurry Sorry for that. Coming to the battery issue. Somewhere down the line the battery backup is going to deteriorate, so as a caution I wanted to know that is buying a higher mAh battery (if available) would be witty or not? As I heard there are some differences in Voltage and Ampers. Eg. I saw one battery for A116 it had 3000 mAh and 3.7 volts and 7.4Wh. While for Andriod one it had 1700 mAh, 3.8 Volts and 6.46 Wh. So this difference would canse any harm or not?? That is exactly I want to know.

34 hours is pretty normal I would say.
Yes, its natural for the battery capacity to deteriorate, however, it depends on you too. You have to practice good habits of charging in order to preserve the overall life of the battery. Follow those and you should be good for a year or two. By that time we will obviously get batteries for sale in the market which you can replace. It is advisable that you don't put other phone's battery into some other phone, yes, I know both are of micromax and might have the same dimensions, but as you mentioned there are differences at electrical level, which might or might not cause your device to misbehave, why take risk and make the situation worse?
So it's better you make use of the default battery properly by practicing good charging habits and make it run as long as possible, later on if we get a 3000 mAh for our phone then you can surely go for it or even replace the default battery with a new one as I mentioned earlier.

i don't think it is safe;;//
At the first place it doesn't seem a battery to be officially produced by micromax
and watt per hour is different on 1700mAh andon 2200mAh (with a difference of 0.1 v input)
So i suggest you not to take the risk of damaging your phone except for you really want to test it..(wont be a big damage it should be reparable )

Hi all,
I've been a lurker for a while, but I have been coming here the past month or so, to decide between a S6 or LG G4. I picked the LG G4 from T-Mobile. I do notice several curious things... The phone was manufactured in 6/2015, it needed the T-Mobile system update.
I was mostly surprised by the last item, the battery I received was a 3000mAH battery, not the 2900mAH variety that T-Mobile was reported to use. Was the lower capacity battery only for pre-release samples or something? Has anyone got a larger capacity battery from T-Mobile as well?
I have the T-Mobile and 3,000ah
If you look at your battery closely it should say "min 2900mah" right below the actual battery capacity. Not all batteries match exactly it says it is. But it guaratees to top off at minimum capacity. I believe T-Mobile variant just went ahead adverised on minimum capacity just to be safe. I could be wrong though.

I did not notice that. It certainly does not look like the 2900mAH battery in the shots.
