Lost SuperSU app - no can not boot into recovery

Hello folks,
after performing a more or less accidental factory reset I lost my SuperSU app (I am rooted and have TWRP 2.6.3.0 installed). To update the SU binary I need to boot into recovery. This seems somehow difficult on the LG 8.3, everybody seems to use Flashify (or similar apps) for that. But they do not work without SuperSU. Catch22.
The ultimate goal is to install CM11, but I am unsure how to proceed. How about this:
1) Reflash TWRP 2.6.3.0
2) Update to TWRP 2.6.3.2 using the Flashable zip v2.6.3.2 from here
3) Then flash CM11 using TWRP
Does that sound right? Thanks, Alex

Run the root process again. It should lay down SuperSU or SuperUser again (forget which one is actually used).

TWRP recovery

Is latest TWRP recovery i.e., 2.7 available for LG g pro??

[Q] Wrong TWRP (v510) installed, can't flash ROM!

Go easy on me please! I've flashed lots of ROMs and recoveries before and never had a problem!
I used Flashify to install TWRP 2.8.1.0 on my V500 (downgraded to 10b firmware). I downloaded latest CM12 nightly and GAPPS, but TWRP errors as it is seeing my GPad as V510 Palman. I have wiped system so now can only boot into recovery.
Can someone guide me as to how to put the correct recovery on so I can flash a V500 ROM?
Windows sees my device, but when I run the LG Recovery it just says device not connected.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks in advance
Andy
Try to flash the latest TWRP from the Original Development Section
You could copy it to an SD card and put it in your G Pad.

Secure boot error(not bricked)

Hi,
Phone Model: D855
Software Version: Lollipop
TWRP Version: 2.8.7.0
I was looking for a solution and all I found are solutions for bricked phones which is not my case.
I tried flashing via Flashify the "TWRP" recovery.
When i rebooted into recovery from Flashify or Quickboot it says "secure booting error" or what ever and gets into a bootloop - which ends when i just take the battery out.
What should I do to use the recovery?
Thank you!
Downgrade to KitKat and then install TWRP
Use autorec for d855 /available in playstore/. Should work fine on LP. After flashing successfully update to 2.8.7.0 via recovery.
