To day I restarted my phone and upon turning back on it now wallpaper scrolls and I hate it. Anyway to fix?

Been shaving a bit of a bug lately so I thought I would see if I was the only one or not. I'm on the at&t pebble blue version nonrooted and I have double tap for s voice and all motion shortcuts turned off. But one in a while it doesn't feel like I will push any thing and my screen will go to a dark grey almost like the background to s voice but s voice isn't there. touching the screen doesn't do anything and when I push the back button it brings me right back to whatever page I was on before. I've had this happen mostly in the messaging app but also in some games and the xda app so I don't think its too picky.
Any ideas what could be causing this/fixes?

Yeah it does seem definitely slower to rotate on the homescreen, especially with the stock launcher. Its not really all that quick in other apps either, except I noticed the youtube app did it well. Since switching to golauncherex I haven't had any screen redraws on the homescreen either since it's locked in memory.
It's only a second or two long. It's meant to be there

With stock launcher - yes, I do notice it takes a while for icons, widgets, etc to redraw. Thats why I use an alternative (Holo, Apex, and Nova are all good).

So I restarted my phone which isn't rooted but running nova launcher and now the lock screen is different. Its a
Single lil lock at the bottom if I hold it gives me options for email phone twitter and two others with a slide to the right to unlock and to the left for camera. If i get a text it comes up on the left in the middle and I have to hold it down and it does a load bar to open the msg. Can anyone explain to me about this and how i could change the icons like twitter and all.

So I just restarted my phone again and its back to normal. I have no idea what happened

Kool. Glad we could help.
It changed back to what I was describing after I woke the phone back up

I can restart the phone and it goes back to normal slide lock screen then after a min it goes back to the one I described. I deleted nova launcher to see if that was it and it was not.

So I uodated to kitkat today (the official firmware) and now I come to notice a few hours later that no matter what app, launcher or browser is running the phone does not go into landscape mode. I ticked off screen rotation in settings and tested my accelerometer. This is very puzzling and any help would be much appreciated
