Hello guys! I don't own this tablet and I know that most of you think tablet should not be used as primary devices for photos and videos. However in my Galaxy S2 (quite old, I know) I have this horrible pink spot (generally in the center of screen) when I use the camera. This is true especially when aiming at a white target (i.e. the wall).
My question is: does the Tab S suffer of this problem as well?
Not that I have noticed. I'll have to say no. Confidently.
Quite common on samsung devices. I even have it on my galaxy s5, but very faint, indoors and under certain conditions. Anyway I just tested my tab s 8.4 and it also has the pink spot problem under certain lighting conditions.

Thanks! I thought so! I've seen it on a couple of reviews but I wasn't 100% sure. It's unbelievable Samsung didn't fix this already!
Camera seems great for a tablet on my 10.5 wifi

I just found this new dock. It looks neat and cool. It should fit the S3 just fine.

Thanks....the cool thing about that dock is that it looks like it'll work whether you have a case on it or not. And it's a modern, technogadget kind of look to it, I like it

And here it is in white

That looks sweet. I like it. Looks like it should fit ours no problem.

Looks fantastic - I wonder if it triggers 'docked' status on the phone.
Hmm, looks like this is universal with almost all phones. I actually want a universal dock
Im gonna order the white one
via Galaxy S III
Looks like this doesn't count as a "dock" on the phone? From what it looks like, it's a stand and you can use any USB cables and place it at the hole area...at least judging by pictures.
Hello I have GN2 with 4.2.1
And the camera shows this horrible pinkish spot as in the photo below..
is this a hardware issue or software ? Should I ditch and go back to iphone 5 ?
its' a 600 USD device , i'm really disappointed with Samsung.

Ask Samsung store.
And if you talk about Iphone (that too 5) you are gonna generate some serious insult.

Hello, I'm considering a swap from Note 8.0 to Note 2 as it may be more portable but I'm concerned about what's on the screen. I know that screen is smaller but has higher resolution.
Can someone offer me help? l would like to see how does it look on Note 2: please select a ,,Meeting Agenda" template from S Note like you want to create a note and make a screenshot; open a browser and navigate to XDA /N 7100 main page both in mobile and PC view, that will make 3 screenshots. please post them here or PM me for e-mail or something.
Thanks

Hi
I don't have screenshots, but I find that setting a DPI of around 220 on Note 2 really makes the screen look massive, and makes browsing, emails much like a tablet in terms of the experience.
Hello all!
I've had my s3 for 2 years now and about a week ago, I noticed that the screen has horizontal lines and the overall quality of the display is poor and fuzzy to where you cannot read text. If the background has black in it, it will show up with a green tint. If I don't turn on the display for a while, it will correct itself for a few seconds then the issue will start halfway up the screen and work it's way to the top. I took it to sprint to have a tech look at it, but he just dismissed me and told me I must have dropped it (I haven't ) and said I'll need to go through insurance..I've managed to take a picture of the issue to show the difference. If anyone knows of a fix that doesn't require a whole new display, I would be very grateful! Thank y'all

first off sorry this not answering your question but i love you background GERMANY ALL DAY FOR WORLD CUP VICTORY !!!!!!!!!!
I believe this is the wallpaper I used. ( I have several different sizes). And thank you!

Thanks buddy
When I view light images, like the list of threads in tapatalk, the bottom of the screen has a different tint than the top. This isn't my first amoled device, and I know that whites aren't usually as good as an lcd, but this seems really bad to me. It's much more noticeable in low light when the screen isn't as bright. I don't have a way of taking a picture now, maybe I can take one tomorrow.
Not sure what I want to do, but maybe I'll wait a little while and then do a warranty exchange to get one from a different batch compared to this one.

I have owned almost every high end phone out there and this phones screen still impresses me every single time I turn it on
You can sort of see the difference in color on the bottom of the screen compared to the top.

Switch it out with at&t... this screen is flawless. Anything less is a defect.
I got a new one. It's much better, plus my bluetooth works better
