[Q] Bootloader not unlocking? - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been trying to unbrick this thing for an hour, I would easily be able to flash a recovery through fastboot if the bootloader would unlock, I've done 'fastboot eom unlock' then rebooted the tablet, but it still shows as locked. Please help as soon as possible.

You just need to unlock your bootloader again. What exactly isn't working? If you still have the Unlockcode.bin file, just type this into fastboot "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin". If not just follow the original root guide up to where you unlock it.

Cant lock bootloader as it requires S-Off, and cant get S-On it requires unlocked bl.

So, I'm setting my phone to 100% stock for a reparation at HTCs EU Repair in Poland.. unfortunately they're pretty strict when it comes to unlocked phones..
I've changed my HBoot, Recovery and ROM to stock, now I need to get my bootloader locked and get S-On.
Problem is, if I follow THIS METHOD I wont be able to get S-On afterwards, and if I follow THIS METHOD (fastboot oem writesecureflag 3) on getting S-On, I wont be able to get my bootloader relocked.. they're depending on each other... How do I get around this loop?

Do you have an RUU?
if yes, the general way is:
1- remove TAMPERED
2- set LOCKED
3- run full RUU
4- bootup make sure all is OK
5- set S-ON if absolutely necessary (S-ON should be the last thing you do, do NOT go S-ON unless you are sure everything is OK)
also, as a side note, scotty's commands can be run while in TWRP (custom recovery will give you a "rooted" adb shell), on the M8 you can even "fastboot boot <name of recovery>.img" (which boots the custom recovery without flashing it)
(on the M7 this was only possible on hboot 1.44, and on the M9 it's not possible at all)
EDIT: also setting S-ON (fastboot oem writesecureflag 3), has nothing to do with locked/relocked/unlocked bootloader

Sprint HTC 10 no recovery, s-off bootloader relocked

So I used the htcdev site to unlock my bootloader, then I sucessfully flashed twrp-3.0.3-0_UNOFFICIAL-pme.img. then before I was going to reboot the phone I thought I needed to relock the bootloader, but when I did and restarted the phone it goes to upgrading android for a couple seconds before it pops up a screen saying my phone is encrypted and I need to input the passcode. I put that in and it says" even though I put in the right code my data is corrupted and I need to do a factory reset, which it starts then immediately goes into download mode. I can put it into bootloader but if I try recovery it fails and kicks me back to download mode. So no recovery, and until just recently I could do fastboot commands but not adb. the computer does not recognise the phone, neither does htc sync. Is there a way to unlock the bootloader with the original unlock bin code? I have also tried to send zips of the original ruu hoping I could get into recovery but it wont let me flash recovery with the s-on. Please help me.....

Have you tried the RUU on SD card method to restore the phone?

Bootloader locked after reboot?!

Hey guys,
I unlocked my bootloader using "fastboot oem unlock", but when I do "fastboot reboot-bootloader" and the phone reboots, it says that my phone is locked?! Did anybody have a similar problem and a solution?
Might unlocking the phone with "fastboot flashing unlock" make a difference?
This really is annoying as I want to have my bootloader unlocked permanently.
Thanks in advance.
No rpmb im boot state?
I'm guessing your phone has motherboard replaced
