[Q] Hello, I don't know what is happening with my Note 2 right now... (Possible noob)

Hello! This is my first post on xda as I have usually been able to find a resolution in one of the already asked questions but I might have just played with my note 2 not knowing what I was really doing a little bit too much.
So I'll try and say everything I've done to make it easier to help me.
I bought the phone and I was happy using GoLauncher and stuff but then stumbled upon rooting and custom roms and being able to get new rom releases that aren't out on the N7100 yet.
So this was all good and well flashing ProBam, Cyanongen Mod, Cerberus, Dr Ketans Rom... and when I had finished having my fun.. I flashed a stock rom and went back to using that, however, the other night I flashed Philz Touch 5 and tried to flash a custom rom that I had downloaded previously. ( Well I tried to flash about 5) These were Echoe rom, Hurricaine rom, Dr Ketans rom, Official stock rom and I can't remember the other.
However, all of these roms came up with the '(Bad) Installation aborted' message on cwm, so now through whatever I've done (i think i flashed original root "CFAutoRoot" through odin' I don't have cwm anymore but i CAN access the system menu, download mode and as far as getting on to the actual phone goes, it get's stuck on the 'SAMSUNG GALAXY Note II GT-N7100' screen, and I read a thread (poet) saying that you may have to wait 20 minutes and not be impatient, so I left the phone for 7 hours (to no luck). I am really stressing out and I cannot find a fix to this!
I am currently trying to extract AP_N7100XXUEM16_CP_N7100XXEM16_CSC_N7100XAEM16_BY_WVAZ_DINK.zip with password 'wagnervaz' and it just keeps getting stuck whilst extracting so...
anyhoo I REALLY NEED HELP
I've tried so much and please don't tell me to 'wipe cache, factory reset/wipe data' cause that just doesn't work I've done it about 1 million times and I honestly don't even know what state my phone is in right now, it probably looks like the containment field from beyond two souls inside.
I hope to hear from one of you very clever guys soon, and thank you so much in advance!:good:

SOLVED IT, DOWNLOAD THE AP_N7100XXUEM1.zip I said about before ^
Flash using ODIN 3.09, omg I'm so happy.

Stuck at download screen after root

I get a note 2 gt-n7100 and i tried to root it with odin.
Now its stuck on download mode...i pull the battery,i flash custom recovery,did factory reset,pull out sd and sim,still nothing.
i do not know which filmware to flash because i cant get it to boot.

Flash a stock ROM via Odin. Download at Sammobile

Unfortunately most people think this is their own personal tech support site (it isn't) so sometimes you will get selfish people like this who just come here to solve problem and dont give a sh1t about sharing solutions.
What have you done/tried so far? Have you tried flashing roms? What happened? etc etc. You need to be more detailed if you expect help.

Hi, sorry if I made you upset! I am new to rooting and tried yesterday to root my galaxy s3 and everything went just fine until i restarted it. Immediately after the "samsung galaxy gt-i9305" text it goes to a downloading screen just like that one in download mode but without the text in the upper left corner and does nothing tough it says downloading.
I have tried to:
-factory reset
-take out battery
-take out sim-card
-flash the same rom again
I have NOT tried to:
-Flash a stock rom (couldn´t find one from Finland) Could that help?
Cant think of anything else. I can still enter recovery mode and download mode.
Ps. I know that this isn´t a tech support site but judging from the guides i have seen so far (rooted my phone from a guide on this site) it seems like people here know what they are doing so I thought it would be best to ask here first.

I was referring to the person who created the thread who you quoted, as being selfish, not you What I meant is that he solved his problem but then never bothered to give any details, so people who search for same issue do not get answer in this thread.
Go here and get the required firmware and flash via Odin. There will also be a small guide on flashing the rom.

Just incase someone is wondering it is working now I downloaded a stock rom from sammobile and flashed it and it worked for me:laugh:

Soo my friend has a S4 Mini and was succesfully running CM11, then his phone dropped right on the spot where the (call)sensor is hidden, so after a call he needed to wait for a while to revert back to where he has stopped. So he said to me: ''Can you flash the stock Samsung firmware for me so that I ca go back to the store where I buyed it and I can get it fixed (warranty), I said ofcourse yes, (i'm well experienced with this). I flashed latest KK firmware for the GT-i9195 (LTE), everything went perfect, phone booted up, install wizard popped up, then we needed to activate WiFi for intializing Gmail account. Soooo I wanted to set Wifi on by swyping (you know) that thing to the right (left is off, right is on) but it immediatly went back to the left side (off). So now everything works perfect expect the Wifi, he can't activate his Wifi and that is pretty ****ed.
Anyone can help me, if it was my phone I would be more okay with it because then I had enough time to fix it and try things out, but it is my friends phone so it is difficult.
Please help me, I will buy u a drink.

Flash again and do a full format.

1. Install CWM and so full wipes
2. Then install Samsung Stock Firmware
3. Run it and set everything.
4. If Wi-Fi doesn't turn on go to the STOCK SAMSUNG RECOVERY and again full wipes.
5. It should work...
If it doesn't work just install CWM and download the SAMSUNG STOCK KITKAT KERNEL and flash it throw CWM.

Sorry for late response, thanks for the tip! Will def. work, stupid of me that I never thought about that.
Something else, I buyed a Nexus 4 a while ago and in novembre maclaw said Lollipop was almost ready for S Advance and now I looked yesterday and still nothing haha. He is such a jerk.

Stuffed Recovery

Hi
I'm a twat who rooted his device, then installed a Russian KitKat eqivalent 4,4, then tried to upgrade to Lollipop. The recovery was all in Russian, so I tried to wing it by guessing the tabs. Now I can't get into recovery mode- I just get a recurrent Samsung GT-N7100 screen.
I've tried re firmwaring it via Oden. Appears ok but just hangs in download mode.
Can't even get to recovery with down with Vol up-Power-Home.
Sounds like my phone is stuffed. Any ideas befoe I bin it and howl to the moon???

I did the exact same thing! I got round it by flashing official firmware via Odin, reflashing CWM, re rooting and then flashing DN4. I'm no expert though. Shame cos if it was the same ROM, it looked good apart from that recovery. I may give it another go when I've read up on how to change the language!

I'm so.. grateful for your reply. Gives me some relief that not the only twat in the universe, and another angle of attack. Have to research the CWM bit. I think I used PSN-purecm AnyROM Aroma one ( if thta's a CWM). Installed ok with a flame log and the phone bootlooped afterwards. The trouble a lot of the links in these fora link to non existing pages, so when I flash or recover I get signature not verified or the like!!!
Anyway, thanks and Seasons greeting if this time of year floats your boat.

Get official firmware for your region from sammobile (google it). I used Philz Touch recovery, re rooted and flashed my backup of Ditto Note 4. You can use whatever ROM you like, (I'd suggest one in English Might not be the only way round it, but it worked for me. Glad I'm not alone in feeling foolish!

Gosh, I feel chuffed to have helped a fellow twat!

Flashing Lineage 14.1.....now I'm lost. Samsung Tab S

After flashing Lineage 14.1 into my rooted tablet, it went into a bootloop for over 2 hours ( the blue curved bar with moving ball) . After that I've tried so many things I'm just lost. I've probably wiped out all the data etc. but not sure. At his point all I have to work with are TWRP and download modes. I doubt it is still rooted either. I think I've seen every video ever made on this subject :0 :0 Any suggestions to get me going would sure help.

That's where I'm headed, basically starting all over again, which is fine with me.
Do you happen to know where I can find a copy of the OS?
The only place I find is 'sammobile' which will take me about 6 hrs of
download time.
I'm also wondering if I can just try to install a fresh copy of LineageOS ?

Thanks for the help, all went smoothly. My Tab S is back to factory OS and rooted again. Now it's time
to try to install the LineageOS ROM again.
I've documented all the steps it took to recover from my hiccup so I can recover again
if I have to.
