+1. Is it even worth stepping back from jedi 6.1.2? The only thing I can think of is the better battery life of the stock rom over the custom ones if all we are getting is the multi windows software from this.

I've noticed that there are new ink colors for the pen on the lock screen. Also, it feels like haptic feedback is a bit weaker.
Anyone know if we can customize the toggles in the notification window?

Try under display. I see it on clean ROM, and someone said theyd noticed they were rearranged I bet they included that as well.

For some reason the multi view is not working any more.
I got the little tab. . But when I click program like google mail and Chrome the open in full screen. It worked for a few hours but then it stopped. ..

Multi Window works here. Completely stock. Had to manually update it and flash in recovery tho

Patching it using ExynosAbuse breaks the camera now, though.
Back Button does not activate multi-window
I am on stock ROM no rooting done at all.
After the update, tried to hold down the back button but will not activate the multi window.
I can only activate it on the notification bar.
Please advise and thank you.
I would make sure under settings that its enabled and if it is then try a reboot and renable the feature as I have two notes one which is stock and works just fine

Glad to see this app getting some attention. Its seriously good, means that you can over clock phone regardless of kernel.
Personally, my favourite is the music controls tweak, the only reason I would have wanted to move away from stock

There's a delay for when it turns it off. I personally don't use it so yeah.

Touchwake on calls
Potential buyer here just for the touchwake feature, quick question for anyone that uses it.
Does it work when on a call (speakerphone or bluetooth)? My issue is that I use the Power button to end call feature and when I am on speakerphone or bluetooth if the screen goes to sleep I can no longer access my phone.
The touch wake module seems to give me massive battery drain by holding a wake lock, irrespective of whether I have wake lock on. Just a warning.

I actually bought it to test it out. It does wake the screen when on a call (YAY!) but it also hangs up the call as if I pressed the power button anyway (NAY )

When you push the menu button you will see :
- Apps and Widgets
- Themes
- Homescreen Settings
- Lockscreen Settings
- System Settings
You must check the Lockscreen Settings
what option specifically in lockscreen settings bevause there isn't anything there that says knock on or something

this launcher may be installed on any android phones.
On samsung phone, Knock on just close the screen. on Lg phones, other people say it is working on both side... open screen and close the screen.

Some users says: "There isn't any specific setting for turning knockon on" Knok of it is working on stock LG Roms Others says" it is working bouth: KnockON and Knok OFF" |Maybe an developer will fix that; I hope!

Don't flash this...it really doesn't add any benefit accept maybe the RAM optimization,and it does not add the knock on/knock off feature.
LG has the feature in the LG G Pro Lite which has half the specs of the regular G Pro. Maybe they will update us one day.....

It's great for me. Knock off works well. I have the spanish e986 with rom g2 apps ported from xda and with this launcher I got spanish language for the launcher, cause some parts of the rom are in english and I like spanish as well. Thanks!!!!

Knock on for anything but the G2 is kinda a cap shoot. The G2 has a lot more sensors to pick up the knocks. Also, the knocks on feature has been proven to use battery.

I briefly had an LG G2 at the start of the year (a week till i sent it back to orange) but i really liked the various option on the camera. ive now got the G3 but find that there is virtually nothing in the camera other than the basics? Am I missing something or is this on purpose? Is there any way of installing the camera app from the G2 onto the device that offers these options?

It's set to default point and shoot.. choose the three dots menu and there you can change things (yes it's not as functional as past devices apparently - seems to be a common complaint currently.)
LG tried to reduce their bloat by taking out things that most people do not normally use. For example I had a Note 3 which had 10-15 different camera options not including filters, I never used any of them expect for HDR mode. I'm glad that LG removed all of the unnecessary features, but they should have allowed users to optionally install them. LG also should have added in a way to turn off the shutter noise without us using tweak box.

They do this because it's illegal in some areas to turn off the camera noise.....

With the G3, you can completely silence the shutter sound if you turn the phone volume completely off

I have a UK LG-D855.
Just tried it again, it definitely works on mine. You have to turn the volume down on the home screen, then open the camera as the volume buttons take a photo on mine.

Must be. I would have thought the UK would have been the opposite though.
UK Phones allow camera shutter to be turned off. - Most asian and other EU models don't allow it due to legalities.
just go to /system/media/audio/ui and delete all camera sounds. done. sound gone.

I recently made the switch from VZW Note 3 to this amazing G3 & great T-Mobile service. I had been on 3 Sammy phones in a row. So I don't know many other brand-specific tricks.
Loved having control over LED with LightFlow app. But this phone isn't playing well.
Do I need to turn something on? Or off?
I'm Rooted (obv). Which if anything should help.
You can accomplish roughly the and thing with g3 tweakbox and a whole lot more.

Does anything need to be turned off in the phone's LED section? Maybe it's a Samsung thing, but I needed to turn that stuff off for app like LightFlow to work

Had LED access forever, that's all. I obv know my tone for texts. Just nice to glance down to know... Least I have my Android Wear for that!

^ Agreed. I use that app as well with no problems with the LED controls or use and it actually has a lot more variables and customization than Tweaks Box does.
I just don't like how the G3 doesn't let you customize any of the notification sounds as much as the Note 3 did....
