Now that most of us have volte and 15 x 15 lte, what is the most data you've used so far in billing cycle or in a full billing cycle? Let me start first. Billing cycle started 7/10. Today is 7/14. So far ive used 112 GB. Other carriers if we download 2 to 4 gameloft games then our speeds will slow down to 2g to 3g speeds.

1gb since my max is 2gb before snail speed.
Max I've used is 50GB

Most I have used about a year ago before I got Wifi was prolly 75gb for a month worth of data
Let me update my usage. So far as of July 18th, I used 183 GB.

I dont tether. What I did was download a bunch of Gameloft games and then delete them. I repeated this process many times.

So you're just doing it for the sake of hammering the network?
I know it's unlimited data and all, but using data just 'because I can' will not lead to positive benefits for the community as a whole.
Anyway, I used about 20GB this month. Lots of travel. No tethering.

Most is probably 2GB while traveling with a bit of tethering. I'm on wi-fi so much, I usually don't go past 1GB or so. Especially since they dont count music streaming or speedtests anymore. But I also didn't realize it was a competition.

So all this time I thought that Straight Talk was ATT strictly.. til my bro in law just told me I can purchase a T mobile Sim Card and use it.
http://www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpd...cards&zip=32707&market=GSM5&locale=en&lang=EN
45$, unlimited text mins and web, no contract. Does anyone have this Straight Talk plan with a t mobile sim card?
If so, what kind of Web Speeds do they offer? Is it T mobiles Hspa 42.2 mbps 4g or what?
Also is it truly unlimited web? or do they throttle after certain GB of use?

Just to confirm straight Talk does have limits on their "unlimited web"
They just don't specifically tell you when.. But when they do feel like you've used too much data they just throttle you. That's an email from them.

But now t mobile has a data plan that is supposed to be truly unlimited.. No throttle

I've been using Straight Talk with the T-Mobile compatible sim for about 4 months now and I've never been throttled. I regularly use around 6-8gb of data a month and have never had any trouble. Speeds are exactly on par with what you get on T-Mobile.
However, there are rumblings of Straight Talk throttling on the AT&T compatible sim card.

I have one also, it's in my second floor transmitting down to the receiver on the first floor. It works okay. I don't get 4 bars, but I also don't get dropped calls anymore and usually have 2 to 3 bars depending on where in the house I am.
Mine was free also because I complained about my coverage. I wouldn't pay too much for one though, unless you get a really good signal from the second floor that you can use.

Got one free from T-Mobile.
I was having almost no reception and this stopped the dropped calls but the gain is not like getting full bars while without gets none, if you know what I mean. It just makes the phone usable without having to use your wifi for calling. My wifi calling wasn't good for many contacts. They kept saying my voice was breaking up using the wifi so I asked t-mo to help improve the service for me and they sent the booster. No extension on the contract, no charge for the unit, and not even a charge for shipping.
Sometimes they surprise me with their customer service, and sometimes they just stink!
I guess it depends on who is "helping" you.
Bottom line, the booster works. You cannot amplify a ZERO SIGNAL so remember, you at least have to have something like 1 or two bars and it will work. They even replaced the unit after 7 months cause the signal was getting weak in the house so they said the booster was failing. Again, Free-99 for the replacement. Can't grumble about service like that.......

Did Tmo change their tethering policy? I used to be a Tmo employee about 2 years ago and at the time if you had unlimited 4g you got 200mb of tethering data. When you reached that 200 MB you were redirected to a Tmo page offering plan changes for higher data use. If you had a finite data plan like 5 or 10 GB you could tether all you want until you reached that limit.
Well, I've used about 4 GB of tethering data in the last 3 days (haven't tether in over a year and a half) and I haven't been redirected to a Tmo plan change page like I used to.
Anyone?
