Does any of you experienced an unstable connection with your car stereo Bluetooth or something like that?
I had no problems with my moto g connecting to my car stereo but now with the g3 not only it doesn't connect automatically but it disconnects and reconnects randomly (although not very often), it's terrible when using as GPS.
do you have enabled ART?
I enabled it just to see how it worked but after experiencing lags I went back to dalvik, where the issue is happening.
I have no issues, my car connects and stays connected. Did you go into Bluetooth settings and checked l check automatic connect?

I don't have that option either. Do you select it the first time you pair with the device or you can select it once the connection is set up?

No, I just long press the bluetooth icon in the notifications panel and it takes me to that menu and then you select the connection options. Which model do you have? This is on the D850, but I'm pretty sure it was the same on my F400S.

I am not sure if the issue you are reporting is same as what I am observing. I am seeing unusual behavior when using GPS and bluetooth. On the GPS the voice prompt are cut off after a few seconds the lady starts speaking. So you never get to hear the complete navigation prompt. I tried removing the maps apk that came with the phone and installed directly from play store but its still the same. Music streaming however is working fine. Anybody else seeing this issue? or can verify this?

I'm on a D850 as well, and I don't have that option.. My Bluetooth screen looks the same as the one being posted for the D855.
To answer OP's question, I have not had any Bluetooth issues. Perhaps it is related to your visibility timeout somehow? Do you have it set to never timeout?

Thanks for the verification. It helps. I have a request since you already have your phone setup with your car bluetooth. Could you please check to see if the voice prompts while navigating on google maps cut off before completing. I would appreciate it plus it might help somebody else who is having the same issue.

Well no one has made one yet, so I'll do the honors.
I have seen a decrease is signal strength, but I have noticed better data speeds. I never had the LoS issue before, so I can't tell if this fixed it or not.
Source for EK02 still hasn't been released yet...
Also just a heads up Sprint updated Swype to the latest version in this update as well.
Sound bug is still there. I can't comment on LOS until I am running the new radio (currently on EG31).
What is the "Sound Bug?" And I also noticed that Samsung added arrows to the lockscreen.

Hey does any of you guys know how do I turn off the warning when I turn the volume up? It's getting quite annoying.. thanks in advance.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
The volume warring is a horrible feature, I'm trying to think of why it needs to popup every time. This must have been included for liability reasons.
My problem is that my headphones don't exactly sit close to ear with my helmet on, so they're too quite. Then I can't always grab my phone and close out the warning while I'm riding.
The only solution I've found for this problem is to install a different rom, I am using ReVolt right now. You can disable the warning in the sound settings.
I also would like to know. I want to disable the toast after setting an app as default as well. It's super annoying.

If you're rooted, you can try Xposed Framework. It's the best. Not only can you remove the warning, there is so much more to customize.

Bleh, TouchJiz is affecting the volume steps mod. Go listen to music, and start the volume at low, and slowly increment the volume up to max one step at a time. It will get louder then go back to really quite, and then get louder again

Yup it does.
As I said earlier I couldn't get the task to work right.
You'll select plugin > secure settings > edit
Than it'll open secure settings.
Select wake device, select time and hit save at the bottom.
In theory by plugging in the headset the screen should wake.
As I also said, having it open a music player (which I assume is what you'd be using it for) would wake the screen also.

Thanks, works great.
I upgraded to the note 4 from the note 2 and i love it. But the one feature i use as much as i can is the ultra contrast mode that kicks in automatically while in sunlight. I know most hate it...but i fly a phantom 2 and i use my phone for live video feed.
So my question is this. Is there an app or setting to make that function turn on and off when i choose too. It does kick on by itself when in sunlight...but not always. I would love it if i can turn it on myself though manually. I have googled a lot to see and haven't found anything yet...so i thought about asking here.
Anyone? I spent about an hour today looking and nothing

Anyone know a solution to the problem? I installed nova launcher and got it to work. But once the screen is put to sleep it turns off. I know that when root comes it won't b a problem, but I loved that feature on my Note 3, and I'm wondering y would they hide the setting? If it's there but hidden, that means it's still there, which makes no sense. Just make it a setting that we can enable if we want.
Anyways if anyone knows how I can get it again without root that would b greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Guess I need to clarify. I was able to enable the finger air view. That worked as intended. However, when this feature is enabled EVERYTHING else is hard to do. For instance, scrolling is very difficult. Typing is almost impossible because you have to be very deliberate when hitting a key. You have to push the screen hard for it to recognize the selection. It is like this for everything. When finger air view is disabled every goes back to normal.

Yes I used nova and enabled all 6 air view setting however interesting enough it is the mouse view setting that actually enables this feature. I am not sure a out the phone to sleep. I don't think I tried that.

Edit: Just to be clear you can enable finger air view through nova by enabling the "mouse hover" air view setting. In doing this you severely impact the performance of the touch sensitivity of the phone making it much harder to use and if the phone goes to sleep it turns off.
