Download cwm or twrp recovery for nitro... And place it in the root of your so card.
Install mobile uncle tools from play store. In the mobile uncle tools, click on recovery update.
Choose the recovery.img from sd card.
It'll ask for reboot... Do the reboot and its done..
Press thanks if I helped

Go to HBOOT > FASTBOOT
Try Flashing CWM Recovery 6.0.5.1 via ADB
Then reboot to CWM Recovery.
Install CM12

Hi,
You can use this guide http://zidroid.com/how-install-flash-twrp-custom-recovery-on-lg-g4/
For reference, I always seem to have an issue with step 6 (command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"). Instead i use "fastboot boot twrp.img" or "fastboot boot recovery twrp.img" (I can't remember which). This has the benefit that it will boot into twrp but won't have flashed it. You can then take a back up of everything stock before using install to install twrp from within itself.
Regards,
Ravi
Thank you for the answer
