Towelroot should work fine. You wont see superSU app after using it, but you can download it from playstore.

no, towelroot does not work anymore since TMO 10c firmware.

What about Lg G2 F320L ? I need root for 4.4.2 for F320L too
Rooting a new OS is not an overnight process. Give our devs time to work on this stuff. 4.4 is just being released! Be patient. Consider yourself luck. Here in the US we have to wait another 2 months to get the update. For our E980 anyway.

I rooted my device with lg g pro root method though some user reported that they are not able to root their device with this method..

i tried to root this phone with towelroot, purpledrake and ioroot. unfortunately, it all didn't work. I am wondering if theres any root update on this? also, this phone support fdd-lte but i believe there's a carrier lock. is there anyway i can unlock it? thanks a lot

go to there thread ask if they would consider you and they will probably provide you a tool to check your device (needs to run between 1 and 2h) then they will add it to stump

Have you tried StumpRoot? When all else fails stump usually works or at least it did for my F460S. If you can't brute force it then just message the devs. I'm sure they will be happy to help out.
I use D858HK rooted. I use STUMP 1.2 root. Worked...

Unfortunately, Stump root does NOT work for
Internal Build: KVT49L.D858HK10f
Software Version: D858HK10f-HKG
It says there has been a software update that has patched the vulnerability that Stump was exploiting. I have been trying to downgrade so that I can root successfully according to these instructions, but just in time realized that my build is not mentioned in the list of stock roms: http://www.androidexplained.com/downgrade-lg-g3/
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Download the DP root tool for lg g3. It works on all variants. Just search in google and you will find it.

Don't root MM yet.mostly people report brick or bootlooping of phone.bear on with stock MM.it's the best you can have.

If I go back to kitkat then I root and install twrp then use flumic 5.3 rom,
So what's your thing this idea can works???

This will work 100%.but why do you want to leave stock MM.stock gives best performance.no doubt fulmics is awesome.

Yes I agree that stock MM giving best performance but AT&T hotspot not works on stock ROM, that's why I wanna leave stock rom..

Then root your g3 with the latest methods available using kingroot and turn on your hotspot.
