Hi,
I have made this boot animation myself by following everything I could find on the internet. I have followed (at least I think) all the instructions but I can never get the boot animation to show up in landscape mode.
I have the AOKP rom installed with ElementalX kernel.
I am able to have my own boot animation work but only in portrait mode.
I attached the file.
If anyone could check the file out and maybe make any corrections, that would be really awesome.
The .jpg images are 1080x1920
Please let me know if you need more info.

Hi everybody, I want to make my personal boot animation but it won't work everything he does is to make a black screen when phone is starting up.
I have tried
-7zip no compresion
-changeing rights
-signing the zip file
downloaded a boot animation who works and repecked it and the same error black screen.
Please if I am missing something somebody tell me. Thx in advice.

the zip in ur attachment isnt having required files....then how it gone work ????
i have attached a boot animation....just copy it to data/local..........with file expert and give permission..........
it will fix ~~~~~~~~~

Or you can use a file manager
And pull the system UI apk out of the downloaded ROM your using...

how can i change boot animation on my grand having cyanogenmod 11 ????
and can i change fonts too???
Try ROM TOOLBOX PRO , It's an application that can change font and boot animation , but i never try it on CM11 , take a backup before using
Download any boot animation you like as zip file ....and rename its name as bootanimation.zip...and then push it in /system/media/*here*......go in details->permissions ..and set to rw-r-r...i hope you know rw r r ? Right?

hello mates! need some help of doing mod... just like replacing white background colour to black..
There is no easy answer to this.. It's not really a blanket application you can do.
The most you could do is write an app that searches for a specific color space and changes it to the preferred color, but all APKs are different and written in different languages. You'll have to be specific with each one.

Bro first decompile apk with apktool you want java, notepad++, photoshop, now you can see res/values/color eg... edit #ff8efae0 with photoshop last 6 word ie 8efae9 with photoshop change color with tool and paste if you want to change green color change in primary color>#ff666666<

Update apktool bro me too have same I solved
Link is not working
1. Using apktool or any tool that help you decompile apk file.
2. Go to /res/color/colors.xml file and change color code here. Most of the app using background color declared inside this xml file.

I'm not sure what apk is the launcher but, by the name, I'd say this:

AFAIK, it's not so easy to put a stock launcher in another phone, it usually refuse to install.
