is there any way to add any shortcuts on lockscreen. So far 4.4.4 has only the camera, but would also like to have e.g. flashlight
You can add shortcuts/widgets by swiping to the right on the lock screen. I don't see camera as an option

I have the camera Icon on the buttom and can use it. But I cannot add any more shortcuts when I swipe on the button in any way. What I can do is to set widgets in the upper time Screen by wiping to the right and add a widget (but also no apps), but not on the buttom. Want to Setup the flashlight on locscreen

I'm aware that in the swipe lockscreen if you pull down the notification bar, you'll get music controls. But, why does TouchWiz make you go the extra route when every other ROM simple puts it right there when you wake the screen up?
Is there anyway that we can start incorporating this feature in the future on the swipe lockscreen?
The pattern unlock has it on the lock screen.

I know. But, I'm making emphasis on the swipe lockscreen since it has the app shortcuts. I'm just wondering if anybody is interested in adding back a feature that was taken off.
Hi
Is there a way to add quick buttons to the notification drawer (the one you open by just swiping down on the screen, I mean), instead of tapping the upper-right button first?
There are very few options I use very often (like wifi on/off, plane mode on/off, rotation on/off) and I wish I could have those buttons directly in the notification drawer, instead of doing one more tap on the related button.
Any idea?
I've looked over the Internet but I can mainly find either apps that include other apps in the drawer or development explanations. I would just like to have a "widget" at the top of the drawer.
Thanks

This doesn't really answer your question, and you probably know this, but there are certainly widgets or mini-apps or something that would let you put something on your home screen (or a different screen) to control those things.

Yeah there's a native widget doing this, thank you.
Yet I'm looking for the same thing in the notification drawer.
In the meantime, if you know a widget that I could freely customize, plese feel free to tell
Nova Launcher might make things easier

So this is not a complete solution, but it will get you closer to what you are looking for. The pre condition is that you have to be using Nova launcher or any other launcher that supports gestures. So in case of Nova, you change the swipe down gesture to "Expand Quick Settings". This way at least when you are on the home screen, you can quickly get to your settings by swiping down or whatever other gesture you use.

All this is done on your lockscreen:
Touch the clock and swipe down. An ^ arrow will appear at the bottom
Swipe right and you should see a box with a +
Tap the box.
Choose your widget (you can only choose certain widgets. Not all widgets available for your home screen are available on lockscreen)
To add another, do the same, but swipe past the existing widgets.
To rearrange your widgets, long tap the widget and move left/right.
NOTE: the widget to the farthest right will always show on your lockscreen by default when turning the screen on.
If the ^ is present on the lockscreen and you want to unlock it, tap the ^ and unlock like normal.
** All this is assuming you are just using the normal swipe to unlock. Not the unlock pin, or something like that. I don't use that stuff, and it's all similar to do, but may be slightly different.

Stock KK from LG to model E980?
I frequently do things on my phone while it's lying on it's back on a table, rendering the lock button and volume buttons on the back useless. Is there a way to add a lock button to the home touch buttons or notification panel?
If you're using the default launcher, double tap on the screen to lock.
If you're using another launcher, such as Nova, double tap the notification bar at the top of the screen.
You can also use Tasker to create a lock shortcut action and icon.
And if you have Tasker AND Nova, you can assign a double tap gesture on the launcher to start the shortcut action.
If you're using a third party launcher that supports gestures, you can use this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock
This all is also really handy:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phoenixstudios.aiogestures
Double tap the notification panel without expanding it and it will lock or a blank spot on the home screens/lock screen.
I use greenify, if you swipe up it gives you the option for Google now or hibernate+lock screen, its nice because my fingers are usually right at the home buttom

Turn on the torch using the long hold volume up while screen is off.

not really what im looking for, double tap on power button opens camera so dont need it on my lockscreen .i just want to put flashlight icon on lockscreen.
thank you , any one know if this is possible without dl another app?
It is possible with the app BxActions. You can choose to double click Bixby button to turn on flashlight on lock screen. I use it
I think you can only put an app shortcut there, and the built-in flashlight isn't an app, it's part of the OS. If you installed a flashlight app from the Play store, you could probably put it on the lock screen.

can you pull the notification down on the lock screen ?? if so, hit the toggle there.
This is trivial to do with root and xposed, does that work for you?
It can now be done with Samsung's Good Lock 2018 app, in the LockStar section of it. You can add up to 6 shortcuts, and flashlight is among the available ones.
