Hello,
What is the diffence between the Xperia M C1904 and the one with C1905? If yes, then can i use the ROM for the C1904 when i have the C1905? Or vice versa?
Yeah, they're pretty much the same. And yes, you can flash C1905 to C1904 and vice versa.
They only differ by country.
Network frequencies differ between these two. However they share the same modem firmware, so you can crossflash firmware without any issue...

No, although the files are similar we cannot flash S software, mods, etc. onto the ION and vice versa
Pretty much same hardware but yeh you can't flash the XS firmware on the ion. Something you are trying to get?
Just wonder. Liking the newest north American firmware for XS
Yeh I agree it runs real nice.

Is this true? We can flash the S firmware? So does that mean we can flash S roms?

No, do not flash Xperia S firmware on your phone it will brick it, due to the differences in the system.

Just flash this ftf with flashtool - http://ni.0a0.in/files/3432_kznsa/LT26i_6.1.A.2.55_SG Generic (1257-6921).zip
It works. I am from India and I can confirm that it works well. I am using a Vodafone sim.

I am on the same firmware, I wanted only baseband which is from Indian software update like .45. As my phone is not purchased from India the baseband is still on the foreign waves. I am no pro, but i guess that's the problem. I tried reflashing your firmware as well, but still no network. Last hope is to get a baseband only from .45 India update. Likle arc and arc s get basebands, I wish I could also get a baseband for my xperia s lt26i
As above,
Does anyone have the version of stock firmware for C6503 (Generic SG)?
I currently have the RU/UK version of the phone and would like to flash the generic SG version on it.
Do I need to root the phone in order to flash it?

Mine lacks the original xperia chinese keyboard. And I was told here that I would need to root my phone if i wanted to install the apk
Mine is Malaysia c6502 without LTE.I also want SG c6503 firmware.I hope after flashed SG c6503 I get LTE support.

ZL 6502 version will never get LTE even u flash 6503/6 rom because 6502 dont have supported hardware. In setting yes u have the LTE but in reality u cant have it. Thats why the price differ between 6502 and 6503.

It doesn't get released until the 8th. The 15.4.A.0.23 update for the C1905 works on the C1904 however. Just download the firmware and then flash it using flashtool.

I'm 99% sure that the update for the C1904 on the 8th is going to be exactly the same as the one we already have but with the support for the different 3G frequencies.

there is no network problem..but my experience is,when am using mobile network mode in "gsm only" mode ,battery lasts for 2days with moderate usage..but keeping in "wcdma/gsm" mode there is heavy battery drain,am getting only 12-14hrs battery backup with light usage...

whats your country bro????
But ... why would they create ANOTHER global firmware for C1904 if ... the C1905 firmware works on it just fine? Why would they need 2 global firmwares ... if both work on either device? That makes no sense.

i think only c1905,c2005 is global....c1904,c2004 are region specific and has bloatware according to region

I completely agree with ansebovi here, there is no difference between c1905 & c1904 or c2005 & c2004. I have tried all four and the only difference between each pair is the bloatware installated. But maybe there is more to it than meets the eye.

---- Here it is.. ;P
So many ZL's in Canada
So many Xperia's who's LTE capability are only unlocked using the ZL's baseband.
YET I cannot find a Canadian ZL FTF or thread.
Please contribute thx
Been looking for a Rogers FTF for a while, yet to find any

I used NuT's 4.3 and crash338's 4.4 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2760199 - on my Rogers ZL and my LTE seems to be working fine (on Fido).
The generic 6506 ROM works fine on LTE here in Halifax, way less junk in it vs the Bell ROM, not sure why you want a specific Canadian one

I am currently using the Generic NA 4.3 .101 no issues.... its just nice to have the stock FTF in case there is a hardware issue
