You are now on 4.4.2, to root use the superSu.ZIP from chainfire.
Herr are the link to chainefire and the download.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053

Unusual issues with SuperSu app

So I just tried to root the phone with
CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar
Odin
Now the SuperSu app says "Unfortunately SuperSu stopped"
As written in other forums, solution I tried to UPDATE it through Google Play Store, THERE IS NO UPDATE OPTION.
I tried to use the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.43 and flash it. But that too does not work as it fails while signature check and thus does nothing.
I tried to get an apk of supersu and tried to install that. It gives error "Supersu not installed"
I am stuck. I don't have root access and SuperSu is not working and it's not even updating.
I don't know what else to do.

got to playstore and install superuser.
From CHAINFIRE:
Did you see the red Android logo during rooting, but SuperSU does not appear? This may sometimes occur due to left-over files and settings, however, you can usually install SuperSU from Google Play at this stage and it'll just work.

[Q] Super SU binary update issues

I used the CF-Auto-Root package, which contained Odin3-v3.07.exe and CF-Auto-Root-lt01wifi-lt01wifixx-smt310.tar.md5, to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 (SM T310) running Android 4.4.2 stock. This root installed some version of SuperSu and no custom recovery. I was able to run SuperSU and installed a couple of root apps like Greenify and Titanium BU. No problem. Then, after I purchased the Pro version and rebooted, SuperSU started requesting a binary update. The Normal update failed. No custom recovery was included with the root but I tried that option but it also failed with a signature verification error. After the signature error SuperSU did run and I was able to go into settings and did the uninstall/reinstall. Uninstalled the pro key and then reinstalled SuperSU from Play Store. This time when it asked to update binary, I chose Normal and it succeeded! I did not reinstall Pro. That lasted until I did the first power off. When it came back up, it asked to update binary. It still seems to function, as I did install another root app and it granted access. Any ideas where I go from here?

Use Odin to install a custom recovery; then flash the latest SuperSu zip in recovery.

Will that work if the tablet is already rooted and SuperSU is already installed? SuperSU is working as long as I don't run the UI. Sorry, I am new to this rooting stuff. Thanks for the response.
I have P5210 Tab3 10 Wifi
We used chainfire=> http://download.chainfire.eu/452/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip
And in our model yes we even write over old not working su. KK 4.4.2 does not like to be rooted and kills it. As gr8nole said. we too are force to install UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip on recovery. This one does survive KK attacks. Clearly this one, you installed from Recovery. But you can go to

[Q] Trouble with Knox

Hey,
I recently rooted my Galaxy SIII and when i booted up for the first time, Knox blocked SuperSU access. This resulted in the Play Store not being able to connect to the internet, and Google Chrome not having a safe connection (which meant I couldn't access the internet). I've tried to root again, but it doesn't work. I tried to flash TWRP using Odin, but when I boot into recovery, there is no custom recovery. When using Total Commander or such, the SuperSU access prompt does not pop up which leads me to think that the device has not been successfully rooted. I can't access the internet or the Play Store. Please help!
Thanks
Try flashing TWRP again or Philz Touch.

I have tried quite a few times, but the recovery doesn't come up. When I downloaded TWRP, it says that I have no root access, though I rooted using Chainfire's method twice. I'm lost and don't know what to do to fix this
Thanks
Do not check auto reboot in Odin. When you see PASS in the status window, disconnect the phone, pull the battery, and boot into recovery.
What firmware version are you on? Did you use towel root to root? Using SuperSU from the Play Store will alert KNOX, but should prompt you to disable KNOX when SuperSU is ran for the first time. Side loading the SuperSU.apk file from Chainfire's website does not alert KNOX and will disable it once installed and executed.

I ended up flashing the Clockwork Mod recovery, and sideloaded SuperUser.zip. It seems that the problem was that my device was not properly rooted, (Chainfire's auto root didn't work for me) and the battery pulling worked.
Thanks everyone for the help!

device is unrooted after cm12.1 ROM installation

Hello guys
I havea problem after CyanogenMod 12.1 installation on i9082
Everything works fine but
I can't have root access, it seems that the device got unrooted after the ROM
I have tried to enable developer options
And I checked root access in the setting to Apps and ADB
but I still get unrooted messages when I try to open an application that requires root
Also I tried to flash supersu from CM recovery but the installation stops in the middle
I tried several different versions of supersu but still the same problem.

Install Twrp or other custom recovery, dissable update cm recovery first in dev option, then install supersu.
Hello thanks a lot for your reply but twrp custom recovery requires root access

What do you mean? Did you installed twrp manager app? Not that app, you need to flash Twrp/cwm.zip file through cm recovery. Or find the cwm/twrp.tar file and flash by Odin.

check it under Grand Android Development thread, there are twrp and cwm in zip file, can be flash through recovery. Same thread with cm12.1 that you flashed.
Flash superuser zip.
Your Rom is Pre-Rooted But you need to flash latest Superuser.zip to gain Root accesses .

Try type this in dialer *#1234#* or *#*#1234#*#*. If any of 5hose doesn't work, visit supersu thread.
OK I tried these lines but nothing happened can you give me link to supersu thread?
cm12 has root disabled by default. Activate it from developer options.
Or you can flash supersu
