I want to ask a question:
Tab 3 7 (T211) got android 4.4 finally. But only Italy version!
I have a XSG version. What should I do...download and flash ITV region firmware or patience for XSG update?
I think if I flash ITV firmware , device won't detect SIM!

I want to update my note2 (GT-N7100) to 4.1.2 but until now I have not got the update OTA
my mobile region is AFR (Kenya) but I bought it from Syria which where I live right now !
is there anyway to force update to 4.1.2 faking the region or something ?
is Samsung racist with updates ?! so AFR update may not come

No need to faking
simply download any country 4.1.2 firmware from below said thread and install with Odin. Kenya already have 4.1.2

My grey import is AFR, which I believed to be united Arab Emirates (after I Googled it). I ended up flashing the French rom with help from Dr Ketan . I live in the UK btw... All working fine apart from slightly more battery drain.

and UAE got the update so if AFR is referring to UAE I should get the update, anyway am not sure it's for kenya but it's what I got from http://samsung-updates.com

the indian version of the firmware is newer than the afghan. wait until afghan get update and you'll be ok to flash...

i am on ins naugat 7.0 now .my phone was bought from uae and has xsg firmware eairlier.
I have installed twrp and rooted the phone.
I want to install oreo and get back to naugaut because i want volte.Volte(voice over lte) is only available in ins firmware and ins oreo is not yet relased.

My question is Which firmware should i download out diffrent countries firmware?
How do i flash it beacause i read so many foroms says re partition to br ticked and pit file and so on?
How do i get back ins 7.0 if i wanted?

i have an Note 10 + that has the CSC from Singapur (SIN) and is running Android 9, i live in colombia an i am wondering if i can change the firmware for CSC colombia (COO) with Android 10, i already watch some videos using Odin (i am familizared wiht it) but i want to know from you guys if i can do that with out any problems.
also i have to be root to change the firmware?

I changed SIN CSC in other CSC with *#272*IMEI# on my N975F/DS at the first startup and works fine.

and this will help me to update to androind 10? my phone is 2 sim i have to change both CSC?
