I have not been able to find how to subscribe to the different forums in the Samsung Galaxy S tablet section. I am, however, successfully subscribed to several forums in other sections since a couple of years ago and would like to add the forums in this section.
Would appreciate a pointer or link.
Thank you.

Hello, this is the only vBulletin forum that I browse(I'm more of a SMF guy, I use it and develop for it) and I can't find the place where I can see new topics in which I have participated(Tapatalk does this for this forum). Is there a link where I can see the new topics?

A couple of things you can do:
1
Subscribe to threads you are interested in and receive email notification of new posts being added.
2
Bookmark your profile page http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=1153710 and in there go to the statistics tab>Find all posts by. Then by clicking on your posts you can see if there have been any replies.
Not sure if these links might work also:
Find all posts by Dragooon123
Find all threads started by Dragooon123

im using subscription witout email, means i can go to my user cp and i see all threads i subscripted that have new posts
so i dont get too many emails but see all new replys..
The question is,
why does the XDA app offer this feature,
but the full version of the board does not?
I could theoretically run an emulator, run the XDA android app, and use this forum MORE efficiently than actually turning on a laptop. I use the 'participated' area every single day.
That seems backward. There has to be a way to pull this data to a web browser, if it can be pulled to an Android phone.

You should set your usercp so that it will automatically subscribe to threads you reply to (without notification)
Then go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription&folderid=all to view them.

Sorry to dredge up an old topic, but I haven't found an answer to the same question, and this is the only time I have seen it have replies. Finding threads posted by a user will not do the same thing, the participated thread button in the tapatalk or xda app does. One should not have to subscribe to every thread either, that would be pointless considering that is for threads you REALLY want to follow.
The information is accessible to the app, which means ultimately it would be easy to implement on the website, and it is counter productive you can only find it in app. The best answer I have is find the posts in the app, but if I have to post something longer, or with links, I have to find the thread on the website.
As popular as this site is, this feature would improve quite a bit.. people(maybe more noobs) would actually follow threads they've posted questions on, so the replies aren't a waste of time. How many threads have multiple people asked for more details and the OP never replies.. Subscribing to threads would only work on any new posts, and some of my oldest ones I would still want to know activity for. This all seems obvious.
[Q] "Request new forum rules" sticky or "Request new forum" forum?
Reading through all forum request posts and threads throughout this "About xda-developers.com" forum and "(requests) From the Users to the Mods & Admins" thread I wondered whether it's time to create:
a sticky with "Request new forum rules" (ie. a sticky that explains what needs to be achieved before a new forum request is honored, like amount of requestees, anount custom ROMs built, first hacks, rooting, modding, etc. done)
a "Request new forum" forum, so admins and ops can easily spot new forum requests without having to cleanout and check existing Q&A forums like this one...
Regards,
Nika.
Especially Android is a very fast-growing OS with new great devices nearly every week and many not-so-mainstream phones and tablets besides HTC and Samsung and the rest that really should get some attention.
But I would never be completely satisfied with a product w/o root or Custom ROMs simply because I know that the manufacturer won't support it as long as the community would or I can't use essential stuff like Backups.
However I'm not quite talented with all the hacking and development stuff, so xda is my prime source for that.
After a little bit more than 3 years passive reading I had a first request but found quite a mess.
It seems like nobody knows where to request new forums and even the Mods say different things where to post. The only thing they say in common is that these posts are in the wrong section and are therefore being ignored.
In short words: a central, easy to find (been trying to find the 'right section' for quite some time) place for these kind of requests would be great! Thanks for your efforts
btw: I don't mean to criticise the Mods/Admins or the forum itself. I just want to share what I experienced as a not so noobish and not so active user
The new thread is here:
[Requests] Ask for new forums here
I would like to suggest a possible enhancement for the forums:
Problem: When I'm creating a new thread, for example under SGSII section, I get suggestions for already existing topics from all other sections first, not from the actual subforum you are posting in. I've tried typing in a thread title from the first page of the SGSII general discussions, and it didn't suggest it. But it was right there.
Proposed solution: Modify this automated search to fetch results from the current subforums first, for the device, in which's section I am posting. Usually new posters want information for their specific device, not from all random devices he might never even heard of. This would help reduce the number of duplicate discussions and questions, which are very common in that specific subforum, but not just there.
Thanks for your time.

+1 to this, while creating my cm9 thread I had suggestions - all of em linked to the other devices' thread - would be better if it looked for the same in the device's sub-forum first

This isn't my first forum... and this should not be difficult, however, I can not find a method to subscribe to a forum. I've clicked every possible setting, icon and menu from this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2
And I have not discovered the magical combination that subscribes me to the forum... I've done it in the past, I've I deleted my old phone forum subscription prior to beginning this quest.
Any help appreciated.
TIA

subscribe to forum ?? or subscribe to thread?
He means subscribe to the subforum for the OnePlus 2, and I agree with him, I cant seem to find it anywhere.
I know, there is already a thread regarding the place of Subscribed threads for a member, but for me it doesn't work.
I have 1 subscribed Forum and 3 subscribed threads. Visiting forum.xda-developers.com/subscribed in the browser (PC or mobile) is shows only my subscribed forums (1 in my case) but not my subscribed threads.
If I use XDA Android app from Play Store, there are proper tabs that separately show Subscribed threads, Subscribed forums, Participated threads and so on, everything appearing in the right place for my profile.
So, how to see Subscribed threads on PC or on mobile browser?
